Makima was raised to be the dog of the Japanese government and because she was the horseman of the apocalypse of conquest, had no chance of a normal life. And Dr. Bright, having lived all his life in an anomalous society where your family suffers and dies, made him harden, especially since his immortality does not make anything easier.
Actually Makima wasn't raised by the government but rather controlled them for her own benefit. They only thing she got from them is knowledge shifting her personal thoughts and ideas! Kishibe stated that if you were to give Nayuta to the government it would be similar or an even worse situation, so in a way you are correct but at the same time you're not, I hope you understand!
I don't know anything about Genshin Impact but I watched your ORV one and absolutely loved it (especially their interactions) so I decided to give this a chance. Should have known that you would never disappoint. Good job!

Bro I hate how scara and eis realtionship was just made to be a "misunderstanding" because they didnt know how to male an accurately flawed character it feels so cheap 😭😭😭😭

She could literally just make lightning strike at someone from afar.
