I give up after the shell. I can't understand you. And I noticed around 5:47ish u said 2 beads but had 3 beads. It would help alot if specified what side of the bead you are going back into.also the cut outs or edits make it difficult to follow. If after you cut out you explain what you just did and what the next step will be... Would help sooo much more. Love your turtle but the process is not for me.!!! Please don't take this harshly. I'm being as crystal clear as possible without beating around the bush, as I would like when I'm getting any type of critique to improve my craft.

It's a pretty standard practice to color label strings while doing a right angle weave because they criss cross so much. I recommend learning the right angle weave before attempting this tutorial.
I fiund this tutorial extremely hard to follow, my "square" isnt much of a square. You skipped crossing over because you assumed we knew that we had to. I recomend being a little more clear with your instructions

This is a traditional beading technique that I have modified for pony beads. It's a difficult skill. Especially if you used to traditional kandi making. It just takes some practice. Maybe try a 3D penguin first.

I cant get my beads to stay in the crisscross pattern. :(
A clip or clamp can help with that. It's just the nature of this kind of stitch. It's difficult to learn at first.

It's really tricky. You want them to fit together. You can try an alternative method if it's easier for you.
