My hat off to you for putting out the videos while you’re on baby duty! And I love the content here because is so on point and real. Great job. I’m going to take your advice to loop schedule. I’ve never done that before but I’m going to do this and see how it works for us.
Hear hear on kids not just getting better all on their own! This year, I chose curriculum that would require more from my kids and was nervous about it because I was coming from a very flowy feel and they just kept trying to do the minimum of everything. Now I expect their best effort, and we have goals we need to meet, and they are thriving! It's better than being able to just let them off the hook when I'm tired. October baby here, too! Congratulations!
yes, when you are in a really busy season doing as little as possible is good, but it's good to push yourself and learn to appreciate the feeling of a job well done, kids need to be taught these things!
So grateful you are even putting out videos in this busy season you are in! Your content is so real, useful and down to earth. No need to be perfectly polished like so many try to be. Your real life videos are so stinkin refreshing! Keep em coming mamma! 🤍🤍
You're talking to a bunch of moms....we're used to having conversations where we can't put two thoughts together and can't recall what we were even talking about. 😆 No worries!
We are always making changes in our homeschool as well. Thanks for this encouraging video. Just subscribed. I also have a channel with tons of homeschooling content and would love to be friends and connect here. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!!
For us homeschooling high school with more than two core subjects a day was not sustainable. My kids love to immerse themselves in the subjects they do and more than two a day did not work last year. They are getting ready for college and focusing more on interest led learning is a priority for them. We do one block of two core subjects and the second block is for them to do what they want to focus on including their electives.
that sounds like a great system! I remember when I was in high school I found it difficult to get everything done everyday, and I came up with a similar system.

Ha! Isn't that the truth sometimes!
Always look forward to your videos. Glad you're getting back to posting them regularly.
