This is my reaction to Filip och Fredrik Interview Gary Busey (High Chaparall)
In this video I react to Swedish comedy from Swedish comedians and Swedish television personalities Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson in their television show High Chaparall where they interview American actor Gary Busey in the USA.

It was Filip and Fredrik's signum to find as strange people as possible...! And he is one of them all....

Check out all of their interviews in the series. All enjoyable in different ways. Most celebrities open up to them.
They ran into Shannen Doherty at a restaurant and spent a whole day with her. She actually knew who they were because she had a swedish friend who had sent her their earlier episodes.

Half the interview is missing, you missed when they serenaded Gary and he got really sentimental

Wasn't just celebs, it was just interesting people to them. This the show that made them big.
It's so funny and they loved it. Cause they love weird people. He stole the show that episode.

    YAAY!
Thank you for reacting to this!!!🙏🏽😂
It's painful to watch this one at times. He is so unstable and unpredictable, and rude towards Filip and Fredrik. He seem to enjoy having power over other people, and to see people scared and insecure.
Not a very charming trait 🥴😅
I would be a nervous wreck in his presence.
Please keep reacting on Filip & Fredrik, it’s so appreciated❤

Filip and Fredrik have the ability to make the insane and dangerous seem ordinary and accessible. In some sense they could be compared to Top Gear going to Argentina with offensive numberplates. Instead of using cars to propel the story, they have an unscripted “anything goes” interview style. Perhaps the best way to describe what they do is to call it Gonzo Journalism in the style of Hunter S. Thompson.
They have great personal chemistry and all their interviews border on the insane, They are both very Swedish and foreign at the same time. They have a colossally large volume of improvised material.
    Cheers 🍺

Gary was high on cocaine and booze during this episode so it was hard for the team to record the show. They had to cut lots of material as it was too wild.

They outdrank Vince Neil in an episode. The episode with Shannen Doherty were pretty random, they just happened to bump in to her in LA and she had seen their show somehow. They shot more or less a full episode with her on their phones.

It seems like he flipped 180 degrees after Fredrik asked him about the supposed "dog-cocaine-incident", I bet he actually got really hurt - he invited them, wrote them a song, put on a show, was in good spirits, and probably felt backstabbed. If the dog meant a lot to him, and he has a long-standing struggle with drugs, it's kind of easy to see that he would make the rest of the interview about getting revenge in his very own way 😂

I don't think Gary Busey was aware of how perfect that behavior was for Filip & Fredrik. Famous people doing crazy shit is what gives them the most joy in life. I wish you could listen to their podcast it's nr1 in Sweden for 10 years for a reason and it's all about this stuff. One day AI will allow you to translate it without losing their voices etc. Sadly AI isn't really there yet but give it a year or two and remember this pod when it's time!

It's a shame no one has subtitled the Swedish. However, considering that it's Filip and Fredrik, Gary would probably have known that he was free to go nuts and probably taken it s a challenge. "Show us your crazy side if you are comfortable" basically.

A highlight in an otherwise moderately crazy TV series!
I've heard several (actors and other Hollywood people) say he's the worst person in the industry. Maybe it's just while working or in a public position he's like that. He seemed very friendly as he welcomed everyone into his home. Perhaps he's lovely in private with only family around.
But everything I've seen of him out of character when working, he seems horrific to be around. Or maybe he's just aggressive towards assholes? And his filter for who passes as a non asshole has a very fine mesh...

Gary Busey had a motorcycle accident in the 80s giving him permanent brain trauma, which is why he has such low impulse control. (The drugs probably don't help either.)
