Great job on having both the salesperson showing as well as your own in depth review. You were able to provide so much detail with both vantage points.
Nice review. A couple of questions though. How much fuel does it hold in the fuel tank? And, can you run the generator from the fuel in the fuel tank, or, does it have to run off the propane? The reason I'm asking is that I've been checking the run time on these generators that use propane and about half load, they will burn through both 40 pound propane tanks in just a few days. And if you use propane for heating and cooking too, you'd probably run out of propane in 2 to 3 days if the weather is cold.
I currently have a 42 foot 5th wheel and getting in an out of campgrounds right now can be a major issue. Can't imagine how hard it would be to maneuver this 48 foot beast into your spot.
@Ameri Pat ok. well I've been "camping" in state parks and rv resorts and they both have pull through sites for large rvs. I wasn't aware of the belief that "camping" resorts weren't necessarily for camping. But ok. I concede your point.
There is a video of a special unit Luxe built for a couple. It's basically a 44FB. They took the 48FB and reduced the garage by about 4'. Still have the side patio but just a shorter garage. Had to eliminate the drop down bed in the garage but I'd much rather have the side patio.
Have you ever looked into going cross nation by Freight Train ? Will freight train flat car shipping of your R V trailer and cab. Like from Washington State to Florida let's say,. With you both on board like a polman cabin coach car you just live on it cross country for cheap. Wouldn't that be less than fuel expense by driving ???
@@JB_WhoWork true out of curiosity would a 16’jon boat fit inside the garage 😅 for someone that goes fishing and doesn’t want to spend money on hotels when you go to a area for months 😅 or a few weekends
WOW... Love the video, love the RV, BUT, it is not a real toy hauler. No tie downs in the "garage" area. If you do have a toy how would you strap it down. Jut saying...
Great point Angel, Luxe told me they build these as flex rooms so so sometimes you will see them as garages or a full office since most people are working from the road. Thanks bro!
This is work! Not a pleasure cruise anymore. Need pilot vehicles with red flags and oversize load signs. Need pre-trip planning like airlines. A CDL. A full-time job driving except pay. Need a full-time mobile mechanic.
@@JB_WhoWork The 5th wheel? I meant an RV that you drive it, take a shower in it, sleep in it. I don't know apparently what they are called? They are an all in 1, you don't tow it.
You’re talking about a class A or C, I’m one of those weird guys who gets gratification out of towing. Maybe when dealing with a trailer becomes to much to handle, I will switch to one
The ability to park your trailer and disconnect your tow vehicle is a big deal for a lot of people. That's why we prefer a 5th wheel over a motor home.
@@oldnumber6 I see both sides have advantages and disadvantages. I think if it were me, I would worry too much about leaving the 5th wheel behind and going out for the day.

My kids would love the loft. I’m not sure what it is about kids and small places. They’re like cats and boxes.
Very true!

Literally a house on wheels. Very nice
It really is, it even has a garage for a small car 💪🏾
Just ordered one. I put air bags in my tundra. So it should be fine.
🤣🤣🤣 don’t forget to add the extra overload leaf just in case
@@JB_WhoWork 😂👍🏼. Good call. Almost forgot
Lol!

We're going to the Tampa RV Show in two weeks. We have an appointment at the off-site Luxe location that Saturday. Really looking forward to it.
Now that’s a Nice LUX😍
Yup!
Very clean JB. Keep growing the channel and I can see you in a LUX soon enough. 😂
Facts😂
Lol, I do want one but that 5500 is big money 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork ram 5500 ?
They should upgrade the shower for that price!
Another 1 😎
These are amazing

Great review JB
Thanks Ed!

How big is a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 😅 because if someone wanna put it in the toy hauler for the weekend off road 😅.
It actually might fit and if it doesn’t, Luxe will get it too

I believe the garage is over 16’ so you will be good to go!
just bring a old school two door wrangler
@@tristanhood3022 true
How big can you go on the garage area with only two people living area
What would your truck of choice be to haul this beauty JB?
The RAM 5500 because you can get the Limited trim. I would go for the Freightliner but I think it would be too big a truck for campgrounds
what are the weight limits on this?
Price?

for that luxury toy hauler fifth wheel you would want f 450
Very nice trailer and paint theme but the color choices inside was a little dark and therfore looked a little out dated.
Yea the beachfront interior is the one I would choose if I was getting one of these 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork the limited 5500 Ram, worth every penny. I just can't get over having a max tow 2022 Ram 3500 the difference is only the payload
No factory roof solar?
It did have it, they come with 4 AGM batteries as well and you can probably build upon whatever the standard is 👍🏾
Are you in Shipshewana IN?
I’m in Morristown, IN right now
If I win the big lottery a Luxe is on my wish list with a new Ford F-450 diesel. The Luxe is nose bleed expensive.

Really nice but quality control look poor . Saw cracks on paint in a lot of spots in this video
Good thing about them is if it’s not to the customers liking, they would correct it
Dang... what is that thing 25,000 lbs...
Pretty much lol, 25,999 GVWR but 22,850 unloaded 👍🏾
I’ve seen 18’ travel trailers with better interior design these days.
It probably came from Luxe lol

We have owned one for 4 years and have lived in it for almost 3 of the 4 years
