@Roy Aksnes It was never meant to be the final version for the song. But Mike wrote the text and wanted to show the band how he imagined the song to be, how he imagined Chester to sing it. That's why he sang as high as Chester did
This 3rd version is the ultimate. I'm so used to it just being instrumental, but the vocals are the cherry on top. Linkin Park are the Kings of instrumental music IMO
I really hope some fans of LP take these demos and add vocals of there own...if we can't have chester, I'd at least love to see the heart and soul poured out into these songs from the fans 🤘

I was a Linkin Park when I was around 12 years old if my memory serves me right. I'm already an adult now. Hearing these demos brought me back all of the nostalgia.

That high-pitched noise, the keyboard noises, just everything about this song makes me want to cry. I am on the verge of crying hearing it as of now; "Fighting Myself" makes me want to cry as well, it has been a long time since that powerful urge has attempted to lure me in (since Hybrid Theory). Great song!
