- I'm spending my first days in the Republic of Uganda by the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. I'm so happy to experience the solo overland expedition across Africa with my Toyota Hilux in my third country of Eastern Africa. I have joined Lilli, a German overlander who is also traveling solo with her Land Cruiser. The rainy season has arrived and I have to setup the camp in the heavy rain, and to experience my first storm in Africa. It's just crazy and I'm not convinced about the rooftoptent anymore: water is coming in and the wind is literally shaking me inside. Lilli has to urgently reach Tanzania and I slowly drive to a famous and incredible part of Uganda... Watch the episode to find out, but you'll love it!

I always blow my air filters out with the air compressor no need to buy new all the time 💰And if you do it on a regular basis they last a long time before you need to replace them with new. Well put together video, Nice job 👌👌

Love your videos, you really capture the spirit of overlanding. Not fancy rigs with nespresso machines and air fryers. But being part of the land, the people, the wildlife. Experiencing it, not through a glass window, but for real. An inspiration for all of us and a great role model for women.

Makes for a complete experience: salt beds, deserts, sand and dust, and now, torrential rains. Well, we had to watch you how you dealt with that too. No need for new filters , just do what you saw with an air pressure line . Oil filter is different . When you do change scratch the paint work so the next time when you change it , you know the when you look it has been changed . Always watch them , especially with an oil change to ensure they completely empty the sump and put 100% fresh in . Gear box oil is different , should be in your manual , the type . Hope this makes sense .

Your videos are good but I suggest you to watch some of the itchy boots videos and get an inspiration and some insights where you can improve. Your videos are great but at times in the middle you sometimes miss to capture or show the continuation or the outcome of the situation you get into and suddenly it cuts to a different scenario. It’s like a story said in bits sometimes, you don’t have to show complete ordeal but it should have start and end captured to make it a story. All the best.
