Sad to say, but this is very common in Colombia. Even people that afford a ticket do this for fun. Hard to think why the stadium security was not checking tickets prior to entering into the parking lot -which is what they do for superbowls.
I'm sure they'll learn from this. And now people will complain why there are so many perimeters and security checks. And why ticket prices have gone up.
100% would have left too. That was complete and utter chaos. TAC is a true fan and decent human being for following the rules. Our boy was raised right.
The craziest part was that the American broadcast was not showing any of this chaos and the Spanish channel was showing cops beating the hell out of people and throwing Colombian fans off the ledges 💀
As a Brazilian, I can say that this is something common in South America. People go to the stadium with or without a ticket, trying any chance to get in. Every game is like this. Welcome to the Latin American adventure.
Yeah you guys can keep that shizz to yourselves. My family is full Latino but as a born & raised American I still don't respect this. People are blaming the US more than they are Conmebol and I don't appreciate that. This NORMALLY doesn't happen in America. We're both to blame but Conmebol more, it's their tournament, they call the shots, including security detail. This didn't happen in 2016 but somehow it happens now?
Tac your videos were all over the news, Spanish and English!! You had better coverage of this disaster than media did!! Thank you for calling this trash event-organization out!!
Great citizen journalism. Jesse Marsch has just stated that he spoke to Conembol officials prior to the tourney. He was amazed at their lack of knowledge of everything from weather to stadium infrastructure.
I wondered about your safety Tac. Glad to see you are ok. FIFA I hope you see this for the WC. For causal American fans who will get into this sport because of the WC. This is Life for these countries and these fans. This is going viral.
Same thing happened at Wembley for the last Euros final with thousands breaking in without tickets....but Netflix think it's cool to make a documentary about it as if it's some form of entertainment 🤯
This is not a "latin" behaviour . I have attended soccer events in England, Germany, Italy, Australia. Everywhere around the world , they have previous control rings. Football fans, yes football (not soccer) take the passion for the sport at a different level. USA security will not be able to control any european hardcore fan crowd either. There has to be a class action lawsuit against CONMEBOL for those with tickets who couldn't get in and from those injured whether they had or not tickets
To understand the American security apparatus is to know that they ignored this thing… but 2026 will be hardcore militarized and frankly racist treatment of fans. Then again, I do suspect most people will be priced out of 2026 anyway.
Watching people pushing their way through the one door was terrifying. I am afraid of crowds and have watched people get trampled and its chaotic and horrifying. 7:35 - I would have had the same reaction. I'm glad you are safe and I'm sad for the people who got hurt and caught up in the madness.
All have blamed (CONMEBOL, host nation and the fans) but CONEMBOL organizers are mostly at blame. The Super Bowl would never go through this mess. CONMEBOL events are always not organized professionally
This is what happens when the organizers of the copa cut corners and don’t hire the entire Miami swat team. Every other time they have an army of cops in full riot gear
I've been to USA, Mexico, Spain, and Ecuador sporting events. This is by far the worst organization I've seen in my lifetime. People were suffocating in the NE entrance as they pushed each other through the gate. People jumping over gates and ledge trying to get in and kids crying. It was so bad we decided to try to enter the NW entrance. Line was in order for bit, but they gave up as fans were crossing security.
I was there too. I was at the NW gate… I saw people passing out by the gate, people jumping the fence, fights, with limited to no security outside… horrible horrible event
BROO your vent video is everywhere now lmao. I can't believe how poorly this went. Also, re the game: Colombia, despite keeping it nil-nil for most of the game, never looked like the better team. About half way through it was fairly obvious Argentina would win. Give the Albiceleste their flowers: they are the TEAM OF THE AMERICAS and the best team in the world.
@AV-xm5ln Colombia looked good in the first 30 min. All their shots on target were in UT first half. Never felt truly threatening after that. Argentina grew into the game, then learned to control it. Messi, who really wasn't the main guy the entire tourney... played as a team. Showed they can do it without him and will be a contender going forward without him.

Yes, Arrowhead had no issues. But also Arrowhead is surrounded by parking lots, and you had to pre purchase parking to get into the lots. That would have likely kept people without tickets away from the stadium
Miami is a Colombian hub it was set up for disaster from the start fans being out priced and felt like they deserved to be the ones in the stadium and when you have numbers you can over take security and that's exactly what they did they knew police weren't going to shoot them. KC isnt a Latin country hub security had no threat
They should have cancelled the game. Its mind blowing how Miami PD didn’t step in and cancel it literally any other sporting event they would have even an NFL and the NFL is nearly as addicted to money as COMMENBOL COCACAF and FIFA
Good call on not jumping the fence. Even if people got away with it, a few people did get tackled and arrested for doing that, as they all should have.
