I lived in Busan 2008-2012 before going to Seoul for 4.5 more years. As a foreigner, I visited more sites around Busan than most Koreans - surprising and impressive to most people. I visited 범어사 a few times. Buddha's birthday coming up is a cool time to see all the lanterns there. Maybe I should visit again in May when I come to Korea to see old friends and former coworkers. Nice video. It inspired me to go see Beomeosa again after all this time.

Yes, these temples are all over the place. Think of them kind of like how churches are everywhere in the US. Kind of like that. But young people don't really take this stuff seriously.
