He's a bit of a pain, he likes to teleport or run away or do large sweeping attacks that will easily tap you if you're not giving him a wide berth. It does help using the darkness vessel and moon vessel to lock him in place for a while. You also get a free elemental break if you break the element he's put on his arm. I also managed to sort of glitch him out of existence for a bit by getting the free time elemental break and using both the freezing vessels all at the same time. Was happy to be near the jar at the end, I had enough.
