1. It is universally recognised. Almost everybody know about that brand. So brand value.
2. When you own it, it shows you’re capable of buying it.(showing you have money)

I work in software engineering in uk. See you can’t put a cost to some of the hard work behind some of the amazing work engineers do, engineers are underpaid all over the world. You will only understand if you do engineering work that they work harder than even CEO’s the amount of problems they solve, are priceless. But only because so many people’s work are underpaid, you can get Android and iPhone for only $1000.
