When you own it, it shows you’re capable of buying it.(showing you have money) 3. When you have abundant money and don’t buy it, people think you don’t have fashion sense. I work in software engineering in uk. See you can’t put a cost to some of the hard work behind some of the amazing work engineers do, engineers are underpaid all over the world. You will only understand if you do engineering work that they work harder than even CEO’s the amount of problems they solve, are priceless. If you ask most software engineers here they’ll say even iPhones are way cheaper than it should be. If iPhones or any Android were to cost its true value, I.e. if all staff were paid proper wage, that means even raw materials price will increase, making a typical android and iPhone cost over $10,000 that’s over 10 lakhs. But only because so many people’s work are underpaid, you can get Android and iPhone for only $1000. Only reason people are mad about these prices is because you don’t want them to make 500$ more than raw materials. But that’s not big deal. The more you pressurise companies to sell products cheaper , the more the companies will overwork employees and underpay.

I work in software engineering in uk. See you can’t put a cost to some of the hard work behind some of the amazing work engineers do, engineers are underpaid all over the world. You will only understand if you do engineering work that they work harder than even CEO’s the amount of problems they solve, are priceless. If iPhones or any Android were to cost its true value, I.e. if all staff were paid proper wage, that means even raw materials price will increase, making a typical android and iPhone cost over $10,000 that’s over 10 lakhs. But only because so many people’s work are underpaid, you can get Android and iPhone for only $1000.
