    youtube algorithm sent me here. great job on your first PC build. small tip. under those connectors on the bottom of the motherboard there are holes in the case just beneath them so you can run the wires behind the motherboard and up through the holes to make things look a little cleaner inside the case. no harm leaving them where they are though. Enjoy your new PC!

    there are some discrepancies which I noticed which I feel need to be addressed!
    your power supply is installed upside down, the fan should be facing the floor. your power supply will be starved for air under a heavy load and this could lead to a failure or worst case a fire. your case has holes where the fan should face in order for it to properly intake air. this should be addressed ASAP.
    if you have important data consider backing it up to the cloud because the ssd may fail due to it not using high quality nand flash. consider saving up and upgrading to a crucial p3. (cheap and reliable) but this isnt too big of a concern right now so dont worry about it if money is tight. i also recommend looking into a 4tb ssd so you dont have to worry about upgrading your storage in the future.
    other than that good job with your first build congrats. i remember buying parts slowly over a few months for my build very similar to how you described.
    but seriously fix your power supply asap.

      I did flip it , I just didn’t film it. I was wondering why it wasn’t lining up with the screws so I just flip it and realized the fan had to be facing down in order for it to fit.

    great job on the build! I got here by the algorithm. I like your energy and passion for this build, also your content is wholesome and feels really organic / unscripted. keep growing this channel and I hope more tech-related content from you

    I’m just praying she put thermal paste on the cpu 😅 fingers crossed it was pre applied to the cooler 😅😅

    i just wanna ask if you put a thermal paste before screwing the cpu fan ;-;

      I think the stock amd coolers come with thermal paste pre applied not 100% sure on that one though as never used the stock amd cooler on my builds but think I remember reading it somewhere

      @@olliered9924 They do, actually almost every aio/cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste nowadays. Right now the only popular brand that doesn't pre-apply thermal paste that I can think of is thermalright, but they give you a small quantity that you apply yourself (was able to paste my CPU and repaste my GPU with what they gave me)

      @@axelcllt do I need to imply extra thermapaste even tho it's on the aoi?

      @axelcllt 23 дня назад

      @@zhostfu3595 if there is thermal paste pre-applied, you don't need to add more
      For the vast majority of people, you should not replace your thermal paste unless you are having temps issues. And if you do so, make sure to wipe the old one with isopropyl alcool

    Great build and everything youtube sent me, but I will say I can not believe you bought windows 11 for 140 dollars that is not something you should not have done there is several cheaper ways to get windows now days and it is safe there are multiple trusted sites you just pay 20 bucks and you get a code and that is it.... yes you would need a USB stick laptop or another computer to set it up but you would've had 120 bucks more for your PC
