While i was trying to install my stock amd cooler i kind of left two extra holes where the standoff are. Not big holes but let just say "extending the original standoff" is how i would describe it. Its secured now but thinking of it not working gives me more anxiety. Would this be an issue?

Same I don’t really have friends I could talk to about this either. They didn’t really understand what I was even making until I showed them the build reveal.

They needed to actually see it to be able to put the pieces together, which I understand; creativity is clearest in the creator's mind. If it was not mentioned, it is recommended to not place the motherboard on top of the anti-static bag that the motherboard comes in. The anti-static part of it keeps the static from getting in the bag, but the static can build up on the outside of the bag. While it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, it is possible for the static on the outside of the bag to possibly damage the board’s components. Most PC builders will place the motherboard directly on the box or on the table, depending on the table. Otherwise, way to go big on your first build! Warning: it can be addicting. :)
wow, thank you for mentioning this. I'm increasingly surprised by how delicate these parts can be. I was shocked enough hearing that even touching the motherboard in certain places could ruin it like what lol. I'm so far from being a "computer savvy person" but I'm gonna build my own hopefully soon

building a PC is not hard, they've made it so easy that it's literally just putting together a lego set. And with tools like PC Part Picker that tell you what parts works and what don't it's almost impossible to mess up in 2022
this video is straight vibes, music is fire and the pc looks amazing , i just built in an o11 mini snow white same thing happened to me with the gpu placement its a first time thing lol, only advice is to flip the fans to intake on the radiator that way you have 6 intakes(3 top and 3 bottom) and 3 exhaust(sides) that way you have positive pressure you will be dust free and have improved temps
I have to respectfully disagree with you here. The fans on the side I can see be flipped to intake, but not the ones with the radiator (she would have to either completely flip the radiator to get them set to intake or switch the orientation of the AIO to the side from the top to get more positive pressure in order to get the top of the radiator be above the CPU Cooler block).
@@LadyWolvie82 there’s a couple of fan setup testing in this case out there, Christopher Flanagans has a very detailed video with multiple configurations, top and bottom as intake then sides as exhaust genuinely has the best temps, I was surprised too but it only applies to this case
@@polaroidd1306 I saw the video you mentioned in your reply and it appears you didn't mention that within the video in question, the most ideal place to mount the AIO for her chassis would be the side and also set as intake (which would place the fans on top and staying as exhaust). In addition, not everyone will take a RUclipsr's advice and interpret it as a law of sorts. On top of that, we have to look at her financial situation. Is she able to make the switches you're suggesting and also risk money to replace parts if things go wrong (rare but does happen)? Again, the most important thing with AIO mounting is that the top of the radiator is above the CPU Cooler block, regardless of where it's mounted *that is not the bottom of the chassis*. Very nice choice of components. Build looks great and should last for many years of enjoyment. Word of caution. Don't use power screwdriver on AIO because over tightening the fans might puncture radiator. Otherwise, it looks like you've done your research before building.

@@gamm8939 at the end of the day, choice of components only matters if it serves the purpose that you buy them for. For example, you can’t blame someone that has an H610 as a motherboard if it’s for office purpose. The contrary seems to apply for me as well : having overkill components is right if they serve your purpose. Hers happens to be aesthetic, and it’s totally fine to me. 5000$+ PCs would be forbidden if not.
@@gamm8939 so what brand would you recommended? I tried to find a good 3060ti gpu for my build but there was so many options out there and it was very overwhelming so eventually I just gave up and went basic with the Founders Edition because it was the cheapest I could find. 😂
@@MMEMashups pretty much anything but Founders. Yes, they are better than usually this time around, but brands like Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and EVGA usually have far better cooling

Great job. I was 15 when I built my first back in 2005. Had to get a part time job and it took me a couple months to save up. They definitely have a lot more parts and fancy features than they used to. So even more props. As others have said make sure you do enable XMP which I'm sure you have by now.

Built my first computer about six months ago but took over two years to gather all the parts because I was 14 when I started building, it was definitely worth it though just be prepared for all the times windows try to screw you over.. nice build also love the choice of parts❤️

I’m a film student so I’m going to be doing video production. I use premier pro a lot and also after effects sometimes, but I’m trying to get more into it. And of course gaming.
@@helium5912 In comparison to what most consumers use on a daily for their first-time, yes. Most first-time builds are quite budget friendly and this is a first time I’ve seen someone do a full white aesthetic with some high-end parts. This girl’s got money! 💰 If we were to compare in terms of for work related things, then that’s a different story. 🙂 But I do understand where it would be “decent” in that regard as parts like these are now the norm to consider!
You did a lot better than most people on their first builds. And yeah someone mentioned this already but no power tools! Other than that you have a very nice build, love the white aesthetics. White aesthetics seems to be the way to go these days for super clean and modern looking builds! Good job!
Aesthetically it looks amazing! I still prefer Corsair fans just bc I really like their software color changing mechanics. But really enjoyed watching the whole build up.
Nice build. Only point is about fans. You have 3 intake for 6 exhaust, creates negative pressure in the case which sucks dust from any small holes around the case. You want positive pressure inside your case. Only the top 3 exhaust and you set them up with a little higher speed then the rest.
Beautiful PC! It's been two years since I built my first PC and there is absolutely nothing quite like the feeling of building one for the first time - It's a feeling you can't replicate on your 2nd, 3rd and so build. Awesome video, I also really love your song choices haha xD
13:51 Make sure to change the "Memory Frequency" of your RAM. You're not taking full advantage of the t-force xtreem 3600mhz if you're stuck at the 2400mhz default speed. Ryzen CPUs love fast memory and you can gain additional FPS just from changing the RAM frequency. Other than that, congrats and good job on your first build! Choosing the Lian Li UNI Fans were the best thing that you can do since they reduce a lot of cable clutter; other RGB fans usually have 2 cables for each fan.

It’s all about the motherboard and case I believe. Motherboards are the main component since it can only use specific brands and such. You’d also want to use a bulk of your money on the graphics cards if you want good quality when playing games if you do. You could always search up what brands would fit nicely with the motherboard you’re using.

Watching this brings me back to when I built my first PC last year and was a nervous wreck trying to build it, especially with the GPU. You did better than me thankfully. Just a few things. 1. Make sure your ram is at full speed. Ryzen will not perform at full efficiency if your ram speed is low and it gains considerable performance from increasing the speed. 2. The 5800x is a fantastic value high end CPU, however in some games, you might experience a bottleneck with the 3080 Ti. Nothing too major, just the occasional frame drop here or there at higher resolutions. The 3080 Ti is just too strong lol. 3. You probably know this, but maintenance is mandatory, especially with a white case. Just every few weeks or so, dust off the inside of the case, especially with that airflow you have. Some canned air should be more than enough to help with that.
HI I love the look of your pc you did a great freakin job on your first time! A little tip would be your fan configuration, you should have the bottom and the side fans as intake so and the top fans as exhaust (seeing as hot hair rises) this way you get more cool air flowing into your pc rather than hot hair being push out! Not too big of a problem but again great job!

I just built my first PC about a month or two ago and I was terrified out my mind as well (I related to the "hopefully nothing explodes" and "i'm all out of money" so hard, PC builds ain't cheap), but from the videos I watched apparently it's really hard to break/destroy pieces unless you're doing it on purpose. One of the mistakes I had made was forgetting to get a WiFi card/making sure that my mobo came with Wi-Fi, so that's something I have to look forward to when I upgrade. Also, I think everybody can relate to the wave/saying "hi" when you first get a new PC/laptop. You did an amazing job with the build and it's absolutely GORGEOUS!
i just heard recently from someone that getting a wifi card is better than having a mobo that has wifi in it. not sure how true it is but that its only $20-60 to get the card and works just as good if not better
@@PammiHoneyBeauty I'm completely new to pc building as well but from research and hearing what ppl say, it can be better to get a wifi card because if you need to change motherboards or upgrade one for any reason you dont have to pay extra for a mobo with wifi, instead you'll always have that wifi card to place in or you can always upgrade/replace. I think it also depends on your own wifi situation at home and what board you have and all. So it really depends on your situation and what you want.
Damn that is a PRICEY PC, you did amazing though! It looks so clean and you chose the parts well, they all work well together functionally and aesthetically. Also, just curious why you didn't go for a monitor with a higher refresh rate? Your PC can handle high frame rates so you could benefit from something a LOT faster, you have the 2nd best GPU on the market, high RAM and a good CPU which could support fps much higher than 60hz limits you to. But it's your choice of course
She mentioned at the very end of the video that she's out of money. She can also benefit from a second storage drive for just the games she wants with it.
@@LadyWolvie82 of course she is out of money, the price of that pc was almost the same as a car ahaha but I Agree with @vacationbonerschool she could use a better monitor for that pc, and there are lots of 144hz cheap monitors, but I did the same as her, just got myself a brand new pc with a 3070 and i5 12gen and I"m still sticking to my 4k 60hz lg monitor, cause I think it's not a huge jump of quality from 60 to 140hz( at least I think so) but I'm still tented to get a second monitor for my desk setup for gaming and letting my 4k monitor for video editing, witch I think is worth it and queen could do the same when she gets more money ahaha
@@LadyWolvie82 I bet that monitor is more expensive than a lot of 144 to 165hz monitors lol Just because is is 60hz, doesn't mean it's bad. Picture and color quality could be far better. More HZ doesn't always mean more $$$ at 1440p

As @Patrick Lim said, be sure to go into ur motherboard bios and enable XMP if you haven't already so that ur ram is running at the specs it is meant to have

@@nyssaqueen God news! My PC is up and running! What did you use for your RGB syncs if you do not mind me asking? I have everything synced together but the LED strip in the front of the case. Were there extra pieces that you had to buy to sync everything together?
@@ayannathomas7058 Depending on the brand of items you bought, they may not play well together in that sense. However, there are programs that attempt to unify different brand under one program. You can try SignalRGB or OpenRGB. Alternatively, if your RGB fans are all connected to one hub, you can try connecting the RGB strip to that hub as well, then control the color as if you were controlling another fan. If you're using Lian Li's software (L-Connect), then it may not play so nicely if it doesn't recognize the strip.

I'm definitely a 'dark mode' type of guy, but these white PC builds are something to behold, yours included. Anyway, well done on the build, you did very well, considering this was pretty ambitious for a first build. I've built a few PC's over the years and still get a bit nervous when doing so because, you never know what problems you'll run into along the way, and when stuff doesn't work, you could be in for long periods of head scratching.

HEYY girl i absolutely love ur pc and great job!! i also love ur keyboard and the minimalistic look in your setup, just a little tip IF you do plan to use your pc for gaming, i recommend moving ur monitor and keyboard to the left more as you will need a lot more mouse space to be able to aim and play comfortably!

Idk about the choice of components tho. Founders Edition are always the worst cards, and a 360 AiO for a 5800 is absolute overkill.

So I got a Lian Li case all white and I'm happy with it. I can see all the lights and the airflow is so nice.

I’m a film student so I’m going to be doing video production. I use premier pro a lot and also after effects sometimes, but I’m trying to get more into it. And of course gaming.
Powerful? Its considered pretty mid these days. Nice build. But not CRAZY powerful.
@@helium5912 In comparison to what most consumers use on a daily for their first-time, yes. Most first-time builds are quite budget friendly and this is a first time I’ve seen someone do a full white aesthetic with some high-end parts. This girl’s got money! 💰
If we were to compare in terms of for work related things, then that’s a different story. 🙂 But I do understand where it would be “decent” in that regard as parts like these are now the norm to consider!

Aesthetically it looks amazing! I still prefer Corsair fans just bc I really like their software color changing mechanics. But really enjoyed watching the whole build up.
Nice build. Only point is about fans. You have 3 intake for 6 exhaust, creates negative pressure in the case which sucks dust from any small holes around the case. You want positive pressure inside your case. Only the top 3 exhaust and you set them up with a little higher speed then the rest.

13:51 Make sure to change the "Memory Frequency" of your RAM. You're not taking full advantage of the t-force xtreem 3600mhz if you're stuck at the 2400mhz default speed. Ryzen CPUs love fast memory and you can gain additional FPS just from changing the RAM frequency.
Other than that, congrats and good job on your first build! Choosing the Lian Li UNI Fans were the best thing that you can do since they reduce a lot of cable clutter; other RGB fans usually have 2 cables for each fan.

Omg i love this! I want to build one but I don’t even know where to start like I feel so overwhelmed trying to learn all the parts I need! Where did you start to find out everything that’s required and the best choices/prices?!
It’s all about the motherboard and case I believe. Motherboards are the main component since it can only use specific brands and such. You’d also want to use a bulk of your money on the graphics cards if you want good quality when playing games if you do.
You could always search up what brands would fit nicely with the motherboard you’re using.
Buy a pre built, and add to it as you see fit

Watching this brings me back to when I built my first PC last year and was a nervous wreck trying to build it, especially with the GPU. You did better than me thankfully. Just a few things.
1. Make sure your ram is at full speed. Ryzen will not perform at full efficiency if your ram speed is low and it gains considerable performance from increasing the speed.
2. The 5800x is a fantastic value high end CPU, however in some games, you might experience a bottleneck with the 3080 Ti. Nothing too major, just the occasional frame drop here or there at higher resolutions. The 3080 Ti is just too strong lol.
3. You probably know this, but maintenance is mandatory, especially with a white case. Just every few weeks or so, dust off the inside of the case, especially with that airflow you have. Some canned air should be more than enough to help with that.
The song choices are such a vibe!! I wanna build my own pc once I have the funds for it. Watching this puts my mind on ease

HI I love the look of your pc you did a great freakin job on your first time! A little tip would be your fan configuration, you should have the bottom and the side fans as intake so and the top fans as exhaust (seeing as hot hair rises) this way you get more cool air flowing into your pc rather than hot hair being push out! Not too big of a problem but again great job!
Little tip. Turn you radiator to the other side so the aio screen isn't slanted 😅

I just built my first PC about a month or two ago and I was terrified out my mind as well (I related to the "hopefully nothing explodes" and "i'm all out of money" so hard, PC builds ain't cheap), but from the videos I watched apparently it's really hard to break/destroy pieces unless you're doing it on purpose. One of the mistakes I had made was forgetting to get a WiFi card/making sure that my mobo came with Wi-Fi, so that's something I have to look forward to when I upgrade. Also, I think everybody can relate to the wave/saying "hi" when you first get a new PC/laptop.
You did an amazing job with the build and it's absolutely GORGEOUS!
i just heard recently from someone that getting a wifi card is better than having a mobo that has wifi in it. not sure how true it is but that its only $20-60 to get the card and works just as good if not better
@@PammiHoneyBeauty I'm completely new to pc building as well but from research and hearing what ppl say, it can be better to get a wifi card because if you need to change motherboards or upgrade one for any reason you dont have to pay extra for a mobo with wifi, instead you'll always have that wifi card to place in or you can always upgrade/replace. I think it also depends on your own wifi situation at home and what board you have and all. So it really depends on your situation and what you want.

Damn that is a PRICEY PC, you did amazing though! It looks so clean and you chose the parts well, they all work well together functionally and aesthetically. Also, just curious why you didn't go for a monitor with a higher refresh rate? Your PC can handle high frame rates so you could benefit from something a LOT faster, you have the 2nd best GPU on the market, high RAM and a good CPU which could support fps much higher than 60hz limits you to. But it's your choice of course

@@LadyWolvie82 of course she is out of money, the price of that pc was almost the same as a car ahaha but I Agree with @vacationbonerschool she could use a better monitor for that pc, and there are lots of 144hz cheap monitors, but I did the same as her, just got myself a brand new pc with a 3070 and i5 12gen and I"m still sticking to my 4k 60hz lg monitor, cause I think it's not a huge jump of quality from 60 to 140hz( at least I think so) but I'm still tented to get a second monitor for my desk setup for gaming and letting my 4k monitor for video editing, witch I think is worth it and queen could do the same when she gets more money ahaha
@@LadyWolvie82 I bet that monitor is more expensive than a lot of 144 to 165hz monitors lol Just because is is 60hz, doesn't mean it's bad. Picture and color quality could be far better. More HZ doesn't always mean more $$$ at 1440p

As @Patrick Lim said, be sure to go into ur motherboard bios and enable XMP if you haven't already so that ur ram is running at the specs it is meant to have

@@nyssaqueen God news! My PC is up and running! What did you use for your RGB syncs if you do not mind me asking? I have everything synced together but the LED strip in the front of the case. Were there extra pieces that you had to buy to sync everything together?
@@ayannathomas7058 Depending on the brand of items you bought, they may not play well together in that sense. However, there are programs that attempt to unify different brand under one program. You can try SignalRGB or OpenRGB.
Alternatively, if your RGB fans are all connected to one hub, you can try connecting the RGB strip to that hub as well, then control the color as if you were controlling another fan. If you're using Lian Li's software (L-Connect), then it may not play so nicely if it doesn't recognize the strip.

I'm definitely a 'dark mode' type of guy, but these white PC builds are something to behold, yours included. Anyway, well done on the build, you did very well, considering this was pretty ambitious for a first build. I've built a few PC's over the years and still get a bit nervous when doing so because, you never know what problems you'll run into along the way, and when stuff doesn't work, you could be in for long periods of head scratching.

HEYY girl i absolutely love ur pc and great job!! i also love ur keyboard and the minimalistic look in your setup, just a little tip IF you do plan to use your pc for gaming, i recommend moving ur monitor and keyboard to the left more as you will need a lot more mouse space to be able to aim and play comfortably!
