- Join me as I build my FIRST EVER gaming PC! The process was stressful and nerve-wracking but also wholly rewarding. I got everything for under $1,400 (not including the decorations). I got a few items used and got a cheap keyboard/mouse and monitor because I didn't need them to be fancy for my personal needs. Building a PC is a very personal/unique experience for each person making one, so do your research and decide what will be best for you!

Everyone always says the CPU is the hardest and scariest part, but its for sure the ram. When I put mine in I had to put all my body weight into it and I was still struggling
Cable management is for me
I agree!! I was so scared I was going to break it or bend the ram. It took way more force than I thought it would😅
I never thought I needed an ASMR computer build but something in my heart was filled today.
right?? That's exactly how I felt the first time I watched an ASMR PC build video
Building your first PC on your own is no small feat. Well done!
Thank you!!
Congrats getting it on first try! I haven't even started buying my parts yet but you made me more confident when it comes to building my own❤
I would def recommend putting one of those bottom fans on the back top part for another exhaust so you have even pressure ❤
Nice job! Well done!
Congratulations for your new pc , hope you enjoy it 💗💗💗. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! It’s been a dream so far!
girl keep going! like im going to sleep rn and this ASMR thing helped sm 😭✨
I really like the pink!!
Thank you!
Great job!
Thank you!
what a cute build!!
thank you! I am very happy with how it turned out!
Nice Build. Looks Great. Good Job!
Thank you so much!
Good job, cat mom!!
The sleepy floof 😻
It is fantastic set up.
You are a very great person who created a very beautifull computer in the pink color gradient.
i got you a subscribe because i like your style.
You have so cute plushies
bravo !!!
i clicked for the cats gonna be honest. like im def interested in the pc building but the cats!!!
also the fan error u made, i cant blame u cuz i still dont fully grasp it myself. luckily im not pc building yet but im def gonna have to look into it before get to that point.
I hope my cats made your day! I know they're not in the whole thing but they certainly made some appearances. And good luck on your future PC build! It is challenging for sure but so worth it in the end
Ah your cats so beautiful and lovely pc.
thank you!!
Omg girl your a life saver 😭😂
Looks awesome your cat was a big part though! ❤
Cats*
thank you! Clearly my cats did all the work, they want everyone to know that
I find it reasurring to see that someone else had this problem of not daring to push ram sticks enough too. It's somehow so easy to think that tech is so delicate to definitely in some instances you need some force too.
Yes!! I saw too many videos of people breaking their ram sticks so I was so nervous! But in those instances, I think those people were just not paying attention enough
I built my first pc two days ago, and it was so nerve-racking! Felt like I was breaking the m/b at every step lol
It is such a nerve wracking experience for your first time!! I’d like to hope that if I ever make another one I’d be a little less anxious haha
could we get a mic review? Ive been eyeing that exact one!
It’s a really good base level budget mic! There are RUclips videos that walk you through what type of filters to put on it in OBS to make it sound even better but it is overall on the lower end in terms of sound quality. It’s perfect for me for now and fit in my budget really well, but I am certainly looking to upgrade it in the future. But I still love this one!
Congratulations 🎉. I like its components, for 1080p it is excellent and its chassis matches the new Barbie movie 😅. Only, I would recommend that you buy a 144hz monitor the difference is very noticeable.
Thank you!! And you’re right it does match the Barbie Movie! And I went with the monitor I did because I did not have the budget to get anything better and I’m mostly using the computer for streaming and monitoring my stream while playing my video games on the TV so I really don’t need a better monitor for a good while. I did a ton of research so I knew what I was doing when choosing this monitor. For my needs, it’s perfect
@@j3nnacat Yes, that is true. The last parts for my computer will arrive in two weeks, I can't wait anymore 😅.
best life ever. ;)
Congratulation for your pc.looking nicely 🎉 ..😊 iam also cat lover 😂🐈
Thank you!!
Hi! I absolutely loved the video haha i ddint even know ASMR pc building was a thing. But im going to be building my own first pc sometime soon and i was wondering if there was anything i should keep in mind or make sure to get.
P.s your cats are absolutely adorable
Hello! I'm so excited for your PC journey! Definitely watch the videos I linked above because they were what I watched on repeat for the weeks leading up to building mine.
Things to keep in mind: it's okay to make mistakes (I certainly did) and you may have to redo a few things here and there. But it will be okay! I had a few hurdles that I didn't think I'd get past (the memory cards not locking into place because I didn't realize just how hard I had to push them down while still being careful, plugging everything into my motherboard was a nightmare, and windows 11 didn't easily install for me and I spent a few hours researching several different issues that was making it so it wouldn't install) but all of those hurdles I overcame! I just kept researching more videos for each problem as it arose.
Depending on your PC size, at least 6 fans seem to be ideal. 3 for intake of air and 3 for exhaust. Watch a few videos dedicated to fan placement and you should be golden.
Also, if you are on a tight budget, some items are okay to get used. I got my CPU, CPU cooler, graphics card, and keyboard/mouse either "used- good" or "used-like new" off Amazon. Only get used items if you trust the retailer selling them!
I was on a tight-ish budget so I got a cheap keyboard/mouse and cheap monitor which I know are things that people prefer to spend more money on so keep in mind your personal needs and preferences! I didn't need fancy any of those things so that's why I went with the cheaper options.
I really didn't think I'd be successful in making mine but as you can see, it worked! And now I stream off it and record all my RUclips videos on it! So I believe you will be just as successful!
Ps. I'm glad you like my cats! They clearly want to be apart of everything I do lol
Oh! And if you don't know about pcpartpicker.com definitely check it out! It helps you create a list of all the items you will need and tells you if anything won't be compatible with the other! It also gives you links to all the retailers that sell each item and for how much so you can see which place sells it for cheapest!
@@j3nnacat thank you! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this reply. I will most likely need to research a few videos on where to plug in everything and how exactly to place it and regarding some more technical stuff, but again i appreciate this lots i am on a tight budget so that helps so much i hadn't even thought of that. Haha I'll be back here in a month or two and I'll let you know how everything went!
@@j3nnacat and thank you for the recommendation to PCPartPicker! I didn't even know something like that existed that will help so much
@@rendererror8389 Yes please keep me updated on how your PC build goes!! Sending you lots of good vibes as you prepare and start building!
I couldn't help but notice the Ryzen 7 CPU, is that w 5700x or a 5800x?
5700x :)
Turn CPU block 90 degrees clockwise to better orientate tubes.
Its the first time that appeared your channnel on my fead and, i build a pc 3-4 years ago and, many of the thoughts of errors and doubts where the same as me. So proud of your PC.
Gretings from Spain and a new subscriber
Hello and thank you so much! I appreciate your comment and subscribe!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
would u say it runs fps games fast like overwatch or apex?
Considering that CPU is a Ryzen 7 5700x and the gpu is a 6600xt, this build can run evey game at 1080p Ultra settings 60 plus FPS no problem. If you want plus 60 fps in 1440p ultra settings as well id consider upgrading the GPU to a RTX 3080 atleast.
Can you also do a room tour? I feel like your room will have a cluttery aesthetic and I am all in love with that! Love the cute build btw!
I could definitely do a room tour! Clutter core is my preferred aesthetic!
@@j3nnacat YAAAAAY! I am so excited, no rush tho, take your time. I am also trying to make my room cluttery but not messy, kinda like Bella's room from Twilight... minus the cactus 😂
how did you install windows on your new pc??
I used an external disc drive and installed it that way. I had a ton of technical difficulties with installing windows to my particular setup though so I had to watch a lot of videos and do a lot of trouble shooting until I finally got it to work
Where did you buy the computer case?
I have a link in my description that includes everything I purchased for this build but here is the link specifically for the computer case
amzn.to/3pQiJUG
When I'm building a PC I always rest the motherboard on top of the motherboard box when I am installing the CPU RAM am the M.2 SSD but that's just me
that sounds way more precarious than putting it on a sturdy desk!! At least I know a desk is solid and ain't going anywhere. A box sounds like it could slip or bend unpredictably
@@j3nnacat I have always build my PC's that way and never had a problem! but if it worked out better for you then good and I hope you are enjoying your new PC nothing beats building your own working PC!
@@j3nnacatthe components on the back of the motherboard can be fragile. it's better to rest it on a box that provides a bit of cushion as well as keeping it on top of the anti static bag it comes in.
Building my pc soon aswell going with intel i7 13700k with a 3080 GeForce and 32gb ram wish me luck and maybe a tuf motherboard
woohoo!! Good luck and please let me know how it goes!
@@j3nnacat any tips on what to look out or any videos of recommendation of thermal paste to the cpu and the wiring .. have a problem of not know what wires connect to the cpu
@@Fk7danny I have some video recommendations in the description of this video! Your CPU or CPU cooler should come with all the thermal paste you'll need and you don't put the thermal paste on the wires, just the CPU. But yeah, watch the videos linked in the description and that will give you just about all the information you will need!
For this setup to work, do I need to have a cat?
Absolutely. But they’re very easy to find. Walk around long enough and you’ll likely encounter one looking for a home
Bạn giảm cân đi bạn ơi, béo quá dễ bị mỡ máu, bệnh tim đấy bạn 😂
tobrut cuy
Should I get the RTX 4090?
Carpeted floors, on top of a mousepad, with cats in the room… this is probably the most dangerous environment to build a pc in 😭 still a great build nonetheless
Why is that dangerous? Every PC build video I saw they were building on a mousepad, as for carpets, not everyone can build in a room that doesn’t have carpet and if the concern is about static, I was very careful about that. And not sure what cats have to do with anything
