How are the Strike (which I own) & Strike LS outside of the upper. The midsole looks total different. Any input would be great! Thanks for the great review
Thanks! Haven't tried the LS unfortunately so I can only really judge by pictures as On doesn' t seem to give an explanation either... I wouldn' t say they look totally different though. The overall geometry looks pretty much the same. The LS has 4 'Clouds' on the lateral side as opposed to 3 in the Strike but those don't really do much anyway. I would honestly say they will probably feel pretty much the same underfoot. Don't think there will be a massive performance difference. Interestingly the outsole is also different. The LS doesn't have the groove in the forefoot that the Strike does. Wonder why myself.
I only did my second run in it on Thursday(90 minutes) and the heel collar really shredded my Achilles. Was wearing thick socks too, and got multiple blisters on both feet. But at least no lockdown issues anymore. But overall I haven' t really figured out this upper yet...
@@m.ch4rmaland3r10 Totally understand that with a lot of their models. This one is actually quite reasonably priced in the market. At 280€ it sits right in the middle of the lower end(Metaspeed, Vaporfly 3, Adios Pro 3) and the Alphafly and Endorphin Elite. Surprisingly it even went down in price from the predecessor Cloudboom Echo 3...

For the upper problems, try a thicker socks, I love the "On Logo" in white.

@@robin29991 I am sorry that doesn't work with you foot, I hope you can sell them.
We'll see. I will persist with the shoe for a bit as I really like basically everything else about it. Not losing hope just yet:)
The separate insole is just a clever solution to skip some assembly steps and glue in the production process. 😉
Yeah, sounds plausible. People might be overthinking this thing haha
My only issue with On is their price. It's very high for what you get, but they do have some great design style.

Where are all the people? Looks like a ghost town! 😂
