      Good bless you sweetie. You are worth *so* much more than having someone beat on, and degrade you. You and your mom definitely need to continue to work towards bettering your relationship, but in the meantime, please don’t continue to accept abuse from her, be at physical, or emotional abuse, and by “accept”, I don’t mean getting up in her face, and squaring off with her. I mean…leave. Find other living arrangements, so that you have a safe place of your own to retreat to, and find peace in. You can still work on your relationship without living in the same space. I wish you both the very best, and remember…you’re worth it. 💜

    We need to remember that being a mother does not mean you get a free pass to do whatever you want to your child. No matter their age. This is where emotional maturity comes into play. We need to do better and start healing ourselves so our children and others don't pay for the pain from our pasts.

      THANK YOU❗️❗️ she grieving but that's not an excuse to abuse your child when you as the parent messed up. Just take accountability and everything will fall in place. Her saying she didn't do certain things is triggering him yet you telling him he know what time it is if he put his hands on her when he clearly stated he would never touch his mother. She's the problem and people really not seeing it.

      We know that parents "do not" always get it right My mom/dad has since passed on. My dad pretty much abandoned us after they got divorced. My mom provided for us immensely and put our needs before hers. However, it came with a huge price. The hate and venom she felt towards my dad she passed on that hate on to us and we never found a healthy sibling relationship with one another because were too busy absorbing her hate and more times than not she stirred the pot amongst her kids. So much so accusing a few of them having incestual relationships until she said it to the wrong sibling and they put her in her place. I told one of my siblings that I think my mom may have possibly been a victim of abuse when she was younger because she was too fixed on sex and not in a healthy way. Only after she passed on I reconnected with an estranged uncle who said my Grandmom who was their mom was 12 years younger than my Grand dad and he actually raped her and my uncle was a product of that rape and then he married her all the while they had 18 more kids together while he abused her. Then I discovered that my mom may have had a self induced miscarriage which we never knew of and my Grand dad her dad my have possibly been the father. The scars our parents leave behind. SMH.

      First off she is not a horrible mother. Y’all see a little snippet of someone’s life and think you know shit but you don’t. She gets upset but he has a super smart ass mouth and it is extremely intimidating when someone of that size stands up over and to you. She loves her son and takes care of him. She’s a single mom and how is she supposed to discipline him. Hitting is not always the answer but spoiled ass kids that don’t know how to watch their mouths need to move around. Don’t argue just leave and stay gone. Love me from a distance but if you’re here and I’m taking care of your grown ass you either shut up or get your block knocked off. So mind the business that pays you ma’am and take this show for what it is. ENTERTAINMENT!!

    • @imhereforitall9218
      @imhereforitall9218 8 месяцев назад

      She's horrible. Some folks standards are just higher than others and so is their quality of life. She is as bad as they come. In life a strong sample is usually an indication of the end. To know that you are trying to defend this behavior just like she did actually says more about you than her. But you do you. I bet I can guess what her education level and credit score is and whether she rents or owns and owns in a quality neighborhood, not one filled with renters either. My heart just breaks just hearing his sweet and gentle voice talking and crying pleading with her to be human towards him. ❤😢 I can’t stand when parents are vile and nasty human beings to their children but don’t want their kids to act like them. Where is the logic. Does she even understand if he has a slick mouth it’s because she TAUGHT him to have that slick mouth and he got it from her? WHERE is the logic. Parents, WE need to take accountability for our mess, not simply say “I’m the parent!” We have to do better and admit when we’re wrong then do better. SMH

      He stood up when she came out because he expected to get hit. Why Karamo did not pick up on that or choose to look past it was more than likely for ratings because he seemed to have turned on the young man like a mad dog. What I do tend to notice about Karamo is when the man is attractive he seems to show them more grace. He may not be aware but it appears there's some light flirtation that goes on when he has a handsome man on there.

When we have kids, a lot of times we have to push our feelings aside and focus on what our children need at the time, yes her son needs to stop bucking up to her but he's only learned that behavior from her so if she wants it to change then it starts with her. It's a reality show and like "ALL" reality shows it is typically about the host exploiting folks lives and throwing them a bone by providing a free trip with subpar hotel rooms and meals while they rake in all the cash with good ratings. The more sensationalized the stories the higher the ratings. Is it any wonder the same types of people keep showing up on most of these reality shows? Just feeding off of folk's desperation. Any type of counselling is substandard at best. They can gaf about them all. @@JC_le_Canadien

    I normally am a quiet watcher and never comment, but this video made me so emotional. I can feel his pain through the screen, I've been exactly where Ja'Quan is, not with the physical abuse though for me it was mental and emotional, but I hope his mother and him can mend their relationship or at least create some distance so he doesn't have to endure it anymore.

    That boy stood up as a defensive not to be menacing. If somebody knocking u upside the head regularly up gotta be prepared.
    That mother is rotten... every time karamo said something to her she had a comeback as to why her actions are justified.
    I think he should go his own way. Maybe with space she'll learn.
    Shes toxic otherwise.

    I really love Jb and his mom. They love hard and they fight hard. It’s a lot of pain and grief between the two of them. They’ve lost the people who mediate between them and now they have to do the work themselves, and I’m extremely proud of them for it. & proud of Jb for sticking up for himself in this setting rather than a fight. It’s a generational healing they’re going through.

    This is sad but real and also a regular thing that happens in a lot of homes and especially black households. Most black people are use to this behavior because it's been taught generation after generation. You talk smart to your parents you get back handed and popped. Black families and parents don't play around when it comes to talking back. I know when I was growing up if I even smacked my lips, rolled my eyes, talked back it was an immediate retaliation from my mom to hit me, with her hand or whatever was by her to hit me with. And with this situation, I am glad he owned up to telling the truth about him talking back to his mom like he does. You don't jump in your mom's face and talk back to her so I felt for her when she said he was doing that and then as a mom you don't jump on your child so I felt for him. Back in the old days it was way worse than it is now so some kids are very lucky. Our parents and grandparents went through it so it's all they know to teach or do to us. And we as people have to change that generational behavior. Period. We need to learn how to handle things better. I pray for this family and I hope things get better for them❤

    I felt so bad for this guy. I wish that I could just give him a big hug. I get that the mother is in her own pain because I truly believe hurt people, hurt people. But it's abuse and she has no right to do that, treat him so poorly and saying he's nothing without her! If that were a daughter and a father abusing, people would be trying to put him in jail!🤷🏽‍♀️
