I got so emotional hearing the nurse say “open your eyes Aspyn” because that’s what her mom was saying when cove was born 😭❤️ what an amazing nurse and OB, so gentle and caring!

Yes Aspyn I can totally relate . It’s crazy that we do wait for this moment all our lives and then one day we will get older and won’t give birth again . I get sad thinking about it so we have to try our best to cherish moments but I get it.. it is easier said than done.
Aww congratulations! Your doctor seemed awesome. And yeah definitely bitter sweet, the moments of having our babies are so amazing and the anticipation is so exciting, but we only have babies maybe a few times in our lives.
I loved the style of this birth vlog. The actual birth itself was probably the most beautiful one I’ve watched, I teared up!! Especially when Parker was cheering you on!!
This was so magical to watch. I’m 24 weeks with my first and terrified of birth. Thank you for sharing this experience. You had such a calming presence during your pushing and I’m so amazed by how calm and collected you were.

Even though your mom wasn't there, I felt that the nurse you had helping you push was SO nice and reminded me so much of your mom, even her voice! So special that you share these intimate moments with all of us, congratulations
I think having a baby during covid is a blessing in doing disguise. I did not want a lot of visitors and my in laws are very blunt and opinionated. It was just me, my son, and my husband. A beautiful bonding experience to last a life time.

This is seriously the calmest birth I’ve ever seen, you are a rockstar, even with an epidural I figured there still has to be a little bit of grunting/moaning etc. but you were just like a warrior just focused.
I totally did not expect this video to affect me the way it did. Seeing you so calm and at ease giving birth was so healing for me, my experience was very very different and a lot more traumatic than I initially realized. Bawling over here 🥲 my son just turned one and watching this made me so emotional! So many relatable moments during labor haha. I remember watching Friends, as well! Aspyn, I found myself encouraging you along with Parker while you were pushing, because I know how hard that is haha! You did amazing!

Rewatching Aspyn’s pregnancy and birth videos now in 2024 while I am pregnant with my first a couple weeks behind her pregnancy with her third. Very cool to see how calm and confident she was even in a labor she describes as traumatic- I admire her strength. I am so glad these videos are still up since her relationship with RUclips and sharing her family has changed so much. Definitely respect that choice but these videos are very helpful for women in my position! Glad to have her experience to guide me and grateful she shared it with us at this point in her life. ❤

My second baby was born “sunny side up” 29 years ago today. I didn’t have an epidural, and it hurt soooooooo much more than my first. The back pain is so bad with that kind of delivery. So glad you had a smooth delivery. Lola is precious and I love her name 😊 GOD IS GOOD!!!!
