Hi! My crown on my front tooth came off. It had a post it it and that came out as well. I cannot afford to get it replaced so I am going to cement it myself. How long does this cement last for generally? Is it more of a temp cement? Not sure exactly what to ask. Also, I will not hold you liable for any answers...not sure if I need to state that in order for you to answer. Thanks in advance

Hey from a fellow dental student.
First of all, you shouldn't have a crown on your "front tooth"(anterior). Did you mean to say Veneer? And secondly, please don't cement it yourself, not to mention where did you get the appropriate dental cements to begin with? Your statement makes me very nervous so please do not DIY your own dental work. I know it's is expensive but it will potentially end up costing you more in the long run.

@@jessicac7136 Hey, I'm in a similar predicament. A veneer on my incisor broke off and snapped in two. Poly zinc is available to buy online. I can see you'd strongly advise against reattaching the veneer myself. But, hypothetically speaking, could poly zinc be an effective adhesive to use for a porcelain veneer reattachment?
