My favourite Bon Jovi song is still Dry County all because of Richie's guitar work on it.

      Hey Neil!
I haven’t heard that one in years. Thanks for reminding me about it. Gonna give it a listen.

Beautiful guitar, VERY Richie!! He’s my hero, I recently made a video about how he’s inspired and influenced me on my channel, I still love him, always have and always will. Love some of these lesser known riffs as well! ❤🎸🤘🏻

      Hey Jo!
      Thanks for writing.
Richie was an absolutely foundational influence on my playing. He still looms large as the ultimate rock start/guitar hero in one.
      Cheers!

Congrats for the video and the admiration to the one and only King Of Swing, Mr. Bluesman, Richie Sambora.
Would you tell me which is the model of Kramer Guitar that Richie used to play then in the 80s? The one in the video, thanks. I want to get one like yours. Thanks ❤

      Hi Rafa!
      Thanks for watching.
That particular guitar is the Kramer Jersey Star. It is a reproduction of Richie’s Kramer signature series from the late 80s. They initially entered production in 2003 after the Kramer brand name was sold. Those were a relatively short production period. This current generation has been in production for multiple years.
You can find an original on sale from time to time, but the Jersey Stars have been said to be of equal or even better build quality.
Keep in mind that Richie recorded with a variety of guitars. I’ve seen studio footage from the 80s of him playing custom Jacksons and other Kramer models.
The Jersey Star features the Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the bridge pickup. It definitely delivers that big, thick tone that you can hear in the isolated guitar tracks from “Slippery..”.
      Take care!
      😎🎸👍🏻
