What kind of blue spray paint did you use? I have Krylon "Brilliant Blue" but have read all over to use Krylon "Global Blue". Do you have any tips/suggestions?
Hey, I didn't scale it down at all, i did some research and the dimensions are correct. It looks a little big when you put it on but if you had all the armour on it would be the correct size
YES! Just as I was looking at to print this helmet with these exact files, I found this video! A question i have tho, is if you had to resize it at all? Or did you use the original scaling
I didnt resize it, did the research and found it is proper scale, looks a little big when you don't have the full set of armour on but i wanted a full scale prop so didn't reduce the size
@@urichulrik9298 Hey, i didnt change the scale but i did have to cut out a section of the bottom for it to fit on my head. Its perfect scale as is in the files but you do have to modify it to get it on!
i know you disclosed it was the right size but it looks too big for a helmet haha overall nice job i would like to make my own just to have for display
Congratulations ! You have done such a fantastic job on this helmet 👏

Love the video! Inspiring!! How much does this project costs? Not including the 3D printer and tools.
Thanks!! I'd say about $80 all up
Thank you so so much!!
I will love to pay one of these! I just need that phase 2 helmet and I can paint the rest
You can buy them on Etsy

@@TethanProps Did you scale the helmet up because 184mm and 174mm is a bit short to fit your head trough ?

@@TethanProps Thx for the answer, which parts did you cut out
@@urichulrik9298 towards to front underneath, at the end of the video I hold it up to show, I slowly cut away sections until I could get my head in
What did you use to make the marks in the paint? It looks like aloe or something I couldn’t make it out.
Yes it was aloe, you can use any paste as long is it doesn't react with the paint underneath or dry out quickly
What kind of paint did you use?
How much would u charge to make one?
What 3D printer do you use
About how much filament did it take to make this?
Can't remember to be honest but id say 1.5 - 2 kg
What type of printer is it
What did you use for the tube stripes?
All done with acrylics and a brush
But is it wearable?
Of course!
Tethan Props I’m low key embarrassed, I must not have been paying attention during the intro because you’re wearing it in the intro.
@@wigglyjiggly9935 hahahah standard :P
oof, those are some extremely rough prints.
fast printing and just fix whit sanding.
i know you disclosed it was the right size but it looks too big for a helmet haha overall nice job i would like to make my own just to have for display
Yeah without the rest of the armour on the helmets look quite large
Which 3d printer do you use
This was done on a Pursa i3 clone, would recommend getting a bigger printer to do helmets hahah
