Hi Jim, As always a very good and educational video. You are the best thanks for sharing your knowledge and videos. I truly hope you are having a blessed fun summer. Stay well & safe always.
Hey Jim I just look on my 2006 and that exact location is caped off. I have a fault for 1236 and I already replaced the wheel speed sensor. Any advice on what it could be ?
Hi Jim. Great video as usual. Following your lead on my 2005 Explorer with AdvTrac I was able to locate the bolt on top of the differential as described. However there is no connector and no sensor anywhere to be found. Instead the bolt seems to be holding some sort of plastic plug instead of the sensor. Is it possible there was a manufacturers modification eliminating the rear center ABS wheel sensor? Any feedback from subscribers also welcome. Thanks. Coach Mac
I watched this video that you posted 9 years ago, I just wanted to see how to test the sensor and that was the only part of the process that you skipped just as you said let's go to the bench and test the sensor..... So I saw you repost it thinking you would show how to test the sensor... WRONG! Instead of showing what you did you just said it was bad! That is not helpful if can't scan your car. What a huge disappointment. Also, what if we don't have a scanner like most people?

The ABS light on my shop E-250 has been on for a year or more. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Will a faulty sensor engage the 4x4 when making a sharp turn?
Reminds me of the transmission output speed sensor I just replace on my wife’s ‘05 explorer. That thing was in a very tight spot.
just one question Jim. Does the sensor have a gasket?
I watched the video a second time and could see an orange o ring on the new sensor
