I kinda appreciate seeing it, I just had no idea. I mean, I've had a tantalum burst and hit me in the eye, but the board was powered on. They're known to potentially do that.
Exploding is a rare case, they're designed to release pressure from the stamped tops, sometimes that doesn't work lol. I do a lot of Macs and this was the worst case I've had!
