You can fix the back of the cat by dome-ing it with a layer of clear uv resin, then it'll all be shiny, and look finished, and you won't be able to tell there was ever a mistake!
I got gel nails once I would love to get it again but what I did was my nails grow so fast that I just cut off the gel nail polish with my nails as they are out. I didn't have to soak them in pure acetone to get the nail polish off my nails. I would never do that because it will ruin your nails getting acrylics ruins your nails too. Hope this helps you girl! The easier way to get the long pendants out is to roll in your hands a while then slide a toothpick in to break the suction
For the long molds, you put soapy water in there and they slide right out.

If you really want to try gel nail polish, a peel off base coat works well. Doesnt last long but protects from damage. #simplynailogical #wheremyholosexualsat
I just got gel done and they gave me the peel off coat and it only lasted 4 days. I would much rather prefer just regular polish. That’s just my opinion:)

Some hints, put the resin bottle in one warm water and it will flow more easily. If doing a deep mold do several smaller layers. And with the stick mold rub back and forth between your hands to break the seal, they are always hard to get out. Loved the black cat.

This is seriously so cool! I love that you used a nail light to do this too. That’s so smart. I also am so shocked the light cured it so easily! I tried making resin coasters once and it was such a disaster lol. I didn’t use a light though, so maybe that’s why. Also speaking of nails - yours are so cute! I love this video. You’ve been on such a roll with really unique fun videos!!

You can only cure uv resin with the light. Epoxy resin is used for coasters and it takes usually 24 hours to cure, no light needed. There are a ton of different resins.

You can use a peel of base coat so when your done with your gel polish manicure you can just lift it there is a channel I recomend simplynail logical and she tells you her favorite peel of base coat and gives more information about it 2

The lamp that comes with the kit is only 6W, you need AT LEAST a 36W. I use UV resin to make acrylic keychains. You do get the molds and glitter but I still think it’s better to get the UV resin and lamp separately.

This could not have come out at a more perfect time! I've recently been so interested in playing with resin and making cute charms but I have no idea where to start. This looks so fun! :D Have you tried Art Resin before?
Apparently it’s not the best? I’d search around before deciding on one but try ut if u want! Use a lighter or a heat gun to get rid of air bubbles tho. Art Resin is pretty viscous so air bubbles easily get trapped in it

I got all the keychain things (I forgot how it's called qwq) but I didnt get the nail flakes, glitters in bigger containers and I got different dyes.I got everything what's on the first photo. Idk if it changed bc I didnt check the date of video release. qwq

Grab a lighter or blow torch and run it back and forth over it for roughly 3sec. :-)

You will find that really opaque colours like black and white take longer to cure. However, the tiny lamp in that kit looks very weak compared to bigger ones.

The pendant moulds for the 1 u cut open r best used with 2 part resin and not UV resin. It can be used but it's more trouble than its worth lol. Also, they do have to be manhandled out of the moulds. Not easy but u kind of have to pull the mould back on itself and inside out if that makes sense lol. Also the zodiac charms, an easier way to get those filled up is to use something like an old credit card and scrape the resin over the hole to be filled and force it into the gaps. Loved the video again and nice to c u doing resin. xx

Your stuff is never gonna cure right with that crap nail dryer. Your project will cure correctly if you get a DECENT nail UV light - mine is 35 watt. The one with that kit is like 5 watt and pure trash.

Hi Sarah! I love your videos so much, you’re really creative!! My zodiac sign is a Taurus!
With the cylinder molds. I had bad luck with UV Resin, but great luck with 2 part Resin. Doesn't matter, but what works with the 2 part Resin is put baby oil on the top and start to squeeze the cylinder, then add more baby oil and manipulate it so it moves down the cylinder mold. Slowly start to push up the mold from the bottom. It's out!! Super easy. I wish I could remember the guy who did the two minutes youtube on this. He's brilliant! Thank you so much for this video. I just recently started working with UV Resin. It's easier to use with bad hands. I love it. I find that the brand very. Some become hard like yours and I had one that left the open bezels, tacky. It's a fun art and the opportunities are endless. What fun the crafting world is!

Air bubbles in resin can be sorted out by running the flame of a lighter over it before you cure it .... the long handled one's for lighting bbq's are great for this and usually really cheap. A UV torch often works a lot better & quicker than the cheap nail lamps. gloves, such as those worn by medical staff or people in sandwich making shops are also a good idea as resin can give you skin reactions ( rashes, etc). To much pigment, depending on the type, can really affect the resins ability to cure, use a really light hand when mixing it in. Fix up any inconsistency with a layer of clear resin over it, doming, can also make it look more professional and saves on having to sand it after :)

you can also add the Screw Eye Pins after its cured but you'll need a Hand drill but there very effective for using in these types of crafting can buy one for $ 6 bucks and may come with different sized drill bits, also you can run the uv light all around the mold since there clear mold the Rays of the uv light hit the UV resin just like the sunlight would do.

You can also use a straw and lightly blow across the resin to pop bubbles.
i have been using 2 part epoxy to coat statues i make...all sorts of issues...many runs and junk ends up on them no matter how careful...then i have to sand etc and a 20 min job ends up taking hours... i am hoping this uv resin solves my issues... the main thing i like is it can be cured fast..plus no waste compared to using 2 part... i may end up building a huge uv box to place them in if they take to long to cure ...i am thinking since i am only adding a thin coat at a time curing time should be fast and not produce to much heat.. and if theres a screw up it can be fix very fast compared to 2 part. Thanks for the demo on this stuff... i am kinda excited to give this a try... it may cure my resin nightmares...

It costs alot on the site she got it on. So if u can't afford it just browse the internet for kits they got better kits for 30 dollars. Because I bought one and it came yesterday (had all the pieces) so I looked at her vid to know how to use it so I just thought you all would like to know😊😀
I’f I’m not mistaken you should wear a mask resin although it has not smell or fumes it’s very very dangerous to your health especially your lungs. There are quite a few tube videos talking about the serious health risk and dangers of the use of resin.
I do my own gel nails at home, and I used to take hating them off, but now, instead of putting a colored gel on, I use a clear or transparent color (or do a french manicure) and taper the gel so that it is very thin at the cuticle, so you can't tell the difference between the gel and my natural nail as it grows out. You can paint over it the gel with regular polish and change it whenever you want. Basically, I use the gel to strengthen my nails to keep them from splitting and breaking as they grow out.
Use a toothpick to set up resin in hard to do places in molds. That way the resin is even in the molds. I have used UV resin for quite a bit of things.
You can use a flame to heat the resin and get rid of bubbles, or, you can get a heat gun designed for this purpose and build in textures based on the heat, air movement, duration and angle. Anytime your project is too big to fit under your uv lamp, simply sit it in a sunny window for a little bit.
Your UV light is really too cheap to work well. You can fix alot of your stuff by doming each piece with resin as someone else suggested
you don't need a tattoo you're beautiful don't mess up your body trust me when the older you get that things going to get really screwed up stay away from tattoos you don't need them I don't have nobody needs to have them I don't believe in them to be honest I think they're just gross and you don't need one trust me u will mess yourself up if you do
and in case you're wondering from people I do know that have tattoos yes the rib cage hurts like a mother

There’s a mold release for resin or use a light layer of baby oil. Also, make sure your room isn’t too hot or there’s too much humidity because that will make your resin tacky.
I have those same molds that you ended up cutting open. If you slowly squeeze from the bottom, it will inch its way out of the mold.

Gel polish won't hurt your nails as long as you don't pick it off and it is beautiful and protects your nails while you wear it try it out you will love it and it's diy you already have the light !
