This should have more views; it’s by far the most visually polished out of all of these graph videos - the colouring to differentiate different types of consoles from each other, the image to show what each console looks like, the actually informative text describing each console, the recency of the upload which means the data still isn’t outdated, the choice of music that isn’t the most generic, corporate pick you could have gone with like most people tend to use in these videos etc. Probably the best of this ‘genre’ of video that I’ve seen.
Wow this was such a fascinating chart. Thank you! It really shows how screwed up perceptions can be. I always thought the PSP was a flop and yet it is in the top ten consoles of all time. Just amazed that all of the Sony systems are in the top ten. I was very sad when the Atari 2600 fell of the bottom of the chart.
thank you very much for the comment, I am very pleased. The interesting thing is also to see in terms of absolute numbers the evolution of consoles sales over the last 40 - 50 years. The world of videogames has taken on more and more foot and has come to cumulatively sell billions of devices
Damn never realised how close Nintendo is to taking back thier throne. The Switch is abt to overtake the PS4 in sales and possibly beat out the PS2 as the best selling console, considering its only halfway through its life

I’ve not had many, but my uncle owned a SNES and it was really fun!
I’ve had the DS, Wii, Xbox One and Xbox X.
Out of them all, the Switch is amazing with its hybrid functionality, portable and can be played of TV.

yes, the switch is selling continuously and by the time I got the data for the video it was almost 109 million
