This has such a softer less aggressive feel compared to the original, don't get me wrong, I love Rihanna's version but there's something to be said about this one too.
Perhaps it's cuz the bassline is kept simple, it feels somewhat cleaner.
Could be Andy, I love when someone takes a song and gives it there own unique stamp.
The "aggression" of Rihanna's vocals is what the orginal version makes i think

I like this version better than the original by Rihanna. TEEMID has a beautiful voice and she sings this song so well. It's been on my playlist for weeks and I have listened to it hundreds of times. Really a pleasure to listen to. Thank you!

She make this really good
It's a dance mix, but it still makes it to the chorus in 1:04 - that's almost pop song level speed. And it could have faded at 3:43 for a single mix, and that would have worked well. Pretty concise, all told. The original by Makeda Purple turns it into a jazz pop song, and this brings it right back to dance. Neat.
