All these Ymir speeches about a "proud life" and then she ended up being the queen she didn't want to be, got pregnant she didn't want with a random farmer-kun and finally her role was reduced to zero in last story arc.

Oh, poor Ymir. Such a brilliant tragic character. You can't really "live only for yourself" when you truly love someone or when you desperately wish for atonement for your actions upon others. In the end, Ymir was still living for others, and she died for others. She chose to abandon the one(s?) she loved/cared about and those who loved/cared about her because she no longer knew how to face such affections and was afraid to bring consequences of her actions to those people. That's why she found a convenient excuse to run, to end it all. I love her character, and her death, alone among enemies, unseen and unknown, has just left a hole in my heart. The real tragedy was that it was both exactly what she deserved and precisely what she wanted.
@@liesweliveby Ymir was a sympathetic character but it doesn't change the fact that her decision to surrender to Marley, while well-intentioned, was a giant middle finger to the soldiers (including Historia) that had been her comrades. She handed a weapon to their enemies and gave them a huge tactical advantage. I don't think she was evil or irredeemable, but her actions were tantamount to treason, and it is highly unfortunate that Mikasa didn't kill her when she had the chance to prevent what Ymir would do.
She didn't care about honor and the SC. she was just faking it like the warriors, but for the sole reason to be next to Historia and to protect her. She was even intentionally bad in the exams and let Historia have the 10th spot in order for her to live safely in the wall Sina as a MP. She knew Historia was a noble/ the heir to the throne and would never 'marry' her, so she encouraged her to live loyal to her own thoughts and feelings as the person she is. Going back with Reiner and Berthold was an apology for eating Marcel. I mean she was like 80 and had enough and acting freely and dying by a noble act was fulfilling for her. Don't forget that she wasn't a Paradiser who was loyally following the SC and wanted to find out the truth. She already knew it and didn't care. She was living for herself and acted on it too. Something a soldier would never do but her reasoning and past made us sympathize.
@@ecparentheses3708 That's actually what makes her a wonderfully written and complex character imo. Most of the time, you'd expect the character to do the right and heroic thing that would benefit our main protagonists, but I like that that's not the case here and it's still in line with the character overall. It's like the character is alive in a way, making their own decisions. I don't know how else to explain this lol but Isayama does such a wonderful job on that part. Making the characters fleshed out and come alive basically.

Historia breaks free from her father and her need for some sort of parental love and rescues Eren from his wish to die to give the founding back, and reawakens his will to fight.
Because Historia freed herself from her father's wishes, Mikasa constantly acts like Eren's slave Edit: Now that eremika is officially not canon you guys are showing your true colors, it's funny how those who didn't like the initial ending (like me) complained about writing, but people who said stuff like "you're mad your ship didn't come true" are now mad that their ship didn't come true. Nah you either a fans who believe in happy ending where nobody dies or plain delusional. No other nations would work together with a eldia after they saw a eldia which is Eren with his founding titan and colossal titan army killing millions of peoples. What will happen is Eren win, The world destroyed, Eldia is free, Eren friends (Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Connie, Hange, Levi, Flock) died, and Eren come back alive towards Paradis.

The reason of why Eren refused the 50 years plan is clearly personal, not related with any dumb reason like keeping the royal blood alive or Historia being the queen. If Eren reason is only simply because he want to keep the royal blood alive then he would have agreed with the 50 years plan, and if he simply do his duty as a soldier towards his queen then he would still choose the 50 years plan because the safety of Paradis Eldia which is his people is more important than the queen. Remember what Kruger once said "A king that can't protect/didn't care about his subjects is no king at all" so civilians life is more important than the queen life. And after the 50 years plan is complete there will be many royal blood children from Historia so the royal family will keep live on and the next king/queen place would still being secured. The royal blood is once important but not anymore after Ymir Fritz is already free from the paths/titan realm. See that, NOT ANYMORE meaning it once important but now it doesn't. You know what that means, it means AFTER the war is over, the royal blood would be considering Useless since the titan power would probably disappear or the founding titan can't order any titans anymore or Anyone can use the founder power without royal blood seeing by the facts that YMIR FRITZ is already free and leaving the paths/titan realm which also means no one will serve the royal blood anymore. Not to mention AFTER the war is over and the whole world is already being destroy, there's no reason for Eldia to fighting anymore, meaning there's no reason to using the titan power and royal blood anymore. Which also means there's no one who would pressing Historia to make many children or becomes a titan and shortening her lifespan anymore. Eren knew that he need to have a contact with titan with royal blood to awakening the founder, heck he knew about this information first before revealing this information after being asked by Paradis military. When asked why he didn't revealed this information much earlier, his anwer is "I don't tell this thing, because I simply care about Historia well-beings". And even before that, when he first found out about this, Eren thoughts were this "I will glad to sacrificing my life if something can change, but I'm not ready/ can't bear to sacrificing Historia". Seeing that he can't sacrificing Historia no matter how easy that sounds like, Eren finally choose the hard route which is using Zeke as the catalyst for awakening the founder because: 1. Zeke is already a titan with royal blood, meaning Eren didn't have sacrificing anyone with royal blood to completing his plan since the titan with royal blood is already exist, since the reason of why people want to sacrificing her is because it's the only way to keep themselves safe and alive inside that tiny island. 2. Zeke already deeply trusted Eren, so pretending to following his half brother plan would be easier. The only things that make this a little harder is because Zeke a little suspicious towards Eren motivation, but even with this Eren can still beat Zeke in his own game. 3. Eren simply didn't really care much about Zeke well-being and safety since he didn't really familiar with Zeke and Zeke isn't one of his most important peoples in his life. In other words, Eren considering Zeke "Expendable" meaning Eren only seeing his Half-brother as a tool for his plan. This brought us to my conclusion: A. Eren orchestrating all of this madness and insanity because he can't bear to sacrificing Historia B. Eren view towards Historia is more different than his view towards his friends, seeing he prioritizing Historia safety over his other friends. Don't believe me, let's take a look at this information: -Raid on Liberio: Eren call his "Friends" towards the battlefield on Marley even though he knew that by doing this is the same as ordering all of his friends to die seeing by how dangerous attacking a enemy territory really is, and look at the outcomes, 6 soldiers and Sasha death. -Forming the Yeagerists: Eren order Flock to creating this organization, and make himself as the leader and Flock as the co-leader. They basically Eren guardian dog and his servant. After the "Warrior" attack Siganshina, hundreds Yeagerists is already massacres including Young Louise who considering Mikasa as her idol. Then after the "Eldia-marley" alliance is formed, the Yeagerists once again being slaughtered by them leaving Flock as the sole survivor. Then Flock finally died after Mikasa shoots his neck with ODMG wire. -Keep his "friends" locked in a cells filled with soldiers that already digested Zeke spinal fluid: Eren even dare to locked his friends inside a cells without any weapon to defending themselves, and that jail is filled with peoples that can transform into titans for god-only-know when. It could be anytime considering Zeke mood and his judgements. And not to mention They can practically died from being eaten by titans without can defending themselves. Eren already know about the wine plan before his departure towards Marley in chapter 130, so there's no reason for him to lock his friends inside that cells filled with soldiers that can transform into mindless titan without leaving any weapon behind for his friends to defending themselves while fully know that by doing this, Eren literally risking his friends live once again. See how much People and Person that Eren sacrificed because he can't choose the options to sacrificing Historia. All of those peoples that I mentioned above would be still alive and happy if he can just simply sacrificing Historia instead of causing all of this madness.
I've been reading your theories and I completely agree with you. One thing for sure, if Eren cared for his comrades more than he cared for Historia, he would've commanded all the titans to stop attacking the alliances, knowing his friends would probably die fighting the titans or the Yeagerists. Yes, he could see his future memories and knew Mikasa, etc. would probably survive, but he was willing to take a risk of them dying. And if he cared for their sake more than he cared for Historia's, he would've listened to Armin & Mikasa and cancelled the Rumblin plan, like why would he destroy the whole world if all the people he deeply cared for ("more than he cared for" Historia) are already against his plan? Didn't he do it for them? But it'd make sense if he did it for Historia who probably had told him that she is having his baby (maybe they did it out of pure love 😁). Maybe Eren wanted the freedom for his child and the woman he loves, maybe.... Eren probably knew he was going to die and not gonna see the freedom he has been seeking for, but he still did the rumbling anyway. Now, the question is: what is he doing the rumbling for if he's not gonna be alive to see the freedom he's wanted? I'm sure he 'had' to keep moving forward (do the rumbling) for someone else, someone who is more important than his own life... His child, perhaps? I might be wrong and Isayama might think something completely different than my theory, but I'm willing to take the risk of being a clown by saying that I agree with you, Eren might execute his plan and sacrifice his friends for the sake of Historia and their child.
And I don't believe Historia lets herself to be impregnated by some random guys just to save herself from turned into a titan by the military. She refused to eat Eren and ssved him instead because she remembered what Ymir had told her (live the life you proud of, or something like that). Now, would she ask any guy to impregnate her just to avoid being turned into a titan? I don't think she would do that. If ever she wanted to get pregnant, she would've asked a man she could trust, a man with whom she had shared a close bond. I believe Historia is not a weak woman who couldn't defense herself (if the military forced her to eat Zeke) and chose a cheap plan (by getting impregnated by any guy she could find). She got pregnant for a bigger purpose, and that's why she looks more depressed than before. I believe she looks less happy because she is thinking about and caring for Eren. But that's just my theory, only 2 chapters left and I hope Isayama will give us a satisfying ending.
He literally told her to run cuz he needed Zeke and if she ate Zeke his plan would be ruined. He already saw the future AND his father's memories so he knows that if she becames a shifter, she won't help him do the rumbling. Also, he clearly said he cared abiut all his comrades and wished they lived long lives this is why he doesn't want a life of breading for her and then being eaten cuz that means she'll die soon. Eren loved all his friends but he had no choice but to do that plan, he needed them to help him in Liberio cuz otherwise, the enemy would have attacked them and everybody would be killed. I mean, what's better? risking their lives in a small attack or dying for SURE if they did nothing and Marley attacked them? It's common sense. And Historia not attacking Liberio is clear cuz she's a queen now who doesn't fight, and pregnant on top of that. Why would he bring her lol. After reading chapter 138 it's clear Eren did all of this because he had no choice and because Mikasa didn't give him the answer he wanted. It clearly shows that if she confessed, he would have abandoned all of his friends ( including Historia ) and ran with her. That other alternative was him giving up everything to live in peace. He said also that on that alternative, he would have let Historia become a breading machine. So since Mikasa didn't give the right answer, he decided to continue wjat he had always done: protecting and freeing everybody that's why in that alternative, he didn't accept to let Historia sacrifice herself cuz in that alternative reality he's the one who does everythibg to save his people and protect his friends.
HIstoria x Ymir theme(REBORN & ECLIPSE) is one of the best songs in AoT. But if you will read the lyrics of eclipse it is more like it is for Eren and Historia because they both choose each other in the most crucial part of the storyline.
See Chapter 139(eren and mikasa 🤝😚💓) + It seems that Historia was singing in the second part of the song (for Mikasa and Irene's relationship) or that she was singing about her and her farmer husband (I think that the most beautiful part of the song is Yumir's talk to Historia😩👌)

You can call me an Erehisu shipper, I don't care. I think Eren and Historia might have romantic feelings or deep affections towards each other and that Eren did the Rumbling for her and their unborn child. Here's why: 1. Eren cares for Historia more than his other friends. Why? How? It's clearly that he refused to sacrifice Historia. But the question is why? Is it because Historia is a queen that can't be sacrificed? I don't think that it's the only reason. Eren doesn't care about the royals before, he doesn't even care about the high rank millitary officers/government who run the island. So, his reason not wanting to sacrifice Historia comes not from her queen status but from something else. 2. Eren is willing to sacrifice his comrade, but not Historia. Why? Everyone knows Eren cared about all his friends. He sacrificed himself to save Armin in S1, he saved Mikasa. He is super close with Sasha, Connie, and Jean too. But it's plain to see that he is willing to sacrifice any of them in order to execute his plan a.k.a doing the Rumbling. Why not sacrifice Historia instead and keeps many of his friends safe? It brings me to question number 3. 3. Why did he want to do the Rumbling? Eren loves freedom, yes, no one can deny, but why the Rumbling when most of his closest people are already against it and ready to die to fight it? Eren probably knew he wouldn't be alive by the end of the day (he has seen his future memory), so why bothers being a villain and doing the genocide if he won't see and feel the freedom he's been long for? For his friends? Which friends? He doesn't seem to care about Flock who is extremely loyal to him. He doesn't care if Sasha, Hange and many others die because of his actions. He doesn't care about the military officers and mentors who got turned into titans, he doesn't even care if Armin or Mikasa could get killed or harmed because of his plan. Besides Zeke and his grandparents, Eren has no other family, and judging by the way he treats Zeke, I don't think he cares for his family's sake (his grandparents are probably as strangers as Zeke to him), so I don't think he did the Rumbling for his family either. Now, Eren is probably not gonna be alive to see the freedom (Gabi shot his neck and severed his head, would he survive from such wound? I dunno), so why did he insist on doing the Rumbling? For the sake of Paradis Island and the inhabitants on it? Well, he could've just sacrificed Historia and gone along with the 50 year plan. With his founding titan, Armin's colossal titan, Historia's beast titan (if she was to be sacrificed), and many many many colossal wall titants, Paradis Island would be able to defend itself and destroy Marley's alliance army. They've already gotten Hizuru on their side, slowly but steady, they might change other countries' opinions about them (not to mention that some of those countries hold grudges against Marley). But once again, Eren refused to sacrifice Historia. Why oh why he doesn't want to sacrifice one person to save millions? He didn't mind sacrificing Sasha. Does it mean Historia is more important than Sasha to Eren? She surely is! 4. Eremika shippers always argue that Eren x Historia is not gonna happen and that Eren cares for Mikasa more than Historia. Hmmm, are you sure? It seems to me Eren cares for them equally for the least. But let me present my argument that Eren actually cares for Historia more than he does for Mikasa (no hate for Mikasa, she's been one of my fav characters from the start). A. Eren refused to sacrifice Historia while he has no problem letting all the past titans attack Mikasa. Yeah I know Mikasa is really strong and Eren has probably seen the future where Mikasa may probably be alive by the end of the day, but still, would he risk the life of a girl he loves more than others just to execute his plan? Seems to me Eren chose to do the Rumbling instead of sacrificing Historia. Do you see the differences? B. In episode 9, Eren smiles after seeing how happy Historia is (after she found out that Mikasa shared the same burden as her). Eren definitely smiled at her and her happiness, not at Mikasa. Why would it make him smile? Eren rarely smiles, but he still gave her that smile even though Historia's burden should not affect him. He smiles because he genuinely feels her happiness and he probably wants to ensure her happiness and well being last as long as she lives. 5. He did the Rumbling to create a better world for Historia's baby whom I believe is his as well. Eren most likely won't survive after being decapitated by Gabi (unless Isayama says otherwise 😂), so why did he keep doing the Rumbling even though he is opposed and fought by his ex comrades (even Mikasa is against him)? It'd make sense to me if he does the Rumbling for his own child, the only part that will be left in the world (since he is going to die anyway). He wants to create a world where his children will feel the freedom he has never had and what he has been fighting for. Eren always wants freedom for himself, so even if he won't be alive to feel it, at least his child, his own bloodline will. Thus, it makes sense if Eren is Historia's child's daddy. Do you really think Historia would let any random guy sleep with her in order to save herself from being turned into a titan? She's not that cheap or desperate. So, what if Eren and Historia did make love and it resulted in her pregnancy? Eren would definitely do anything to ensure his child will live in a free world. Plus, I honestly feel Eren and Historia's relationship is the opposite mirror of Ymir the founder with King Fritz. Ymir is a titan who is enslaved by King Fritz. King Fritz forced her to give birth to his successors and thus titan era began. In this case, Eren is Ymir's subject and Historia is King Fritz's descendant. So, what if Eren and Historia's child would end the titan era and mark a whole new era without titans? What's begun by a royal and a slave/commoner will be ended by a royal and a commner. Wouldn't it be a nice conclusion for the whole story? These are just my theories. I can be wrong or right. Let's just wait for the last chapter and see what Isayama has had in mind for all these years.

Oh, poor Ymir. Such a brilliant tragic character.
You can't really "live only for yourself" when you truly love someone or when you desperately wish for atonement for your actions upon others. In the end, Ymir was still living for others, and she died for others. She chose to abandon the one(s?) she loved/cared about and those who loved/cared about her because she no longer knew how to face such affections and was afraid to bring consequences of her actions to those people. That's why she found a convenient excuse to run, to end it all.
I love her character, and her death, alone among enemies, unseen and unknown, has just left a hole in my heart. The real tragedy was that it was both exactly what she deserved and precisely what she wanted.

@@liesweliveby Ymir was a sympathetic character but it doesn't change the fact that her decision to surrender to Marley, while well-intentioned, was a giant middle finger to the soldiers (including Historia) that had been her comrades. She handed a weapon to their enemies and gave them a huge tactical advantage. I don't think she was evil or irredeemable, but her actions were tantamount to treason, and it is highly unfortunate that Mikasa didn't kill her when she had the chance to prevent what Ymir would do.
She didn't care about honor and the SC. she was just faking it like the warriors, but for the sole reason to be next to Historia and to protect her. She was even intentionally bad in the exams and let Historia have the 10th spot in order for her to live safely in the wall Sina as a MP. She knew Historia was a noble/ the heir to the throne and would never 'marry' her, so she encouraged her to live loyal to her own thoughts and feelings as the person she is. Going back with Reiner and Berthold was an apology for eating Marcel. I mean she was like 80 and had enough and acting freely and dying by a noble act was fulfilling for her. Don't forget that she wasn't a Paradiser who was loyally following the SC and wanted to find out the truth. She already knew it and didn't care. She was living for herself and acted on it too. Something a soldier would never do but her reasoning and past made us sympathize.

Most of the time, you'd expect the character to do the right and heroic thing that would benefit our main protagonists, but I like that that's not the case here and it's still in line with the character overall. It's like the character is alive in a way, making their own decisions. I don't know how else to explain this lol but Isayama does such a wonderful job on that part. Making the characters fleshed out and come alive basically.

The reason of why Eren refused the 50 years plan is clearly personal, not related with any dumb reason like keeping the royal blood alive or Historia being the queen. If Eren reason is only simply because he want to keep the royal blood alive then he would have agreed with the 50 years plan, and if he simply do his duty as a soldier towards his queen then he would still choose the 50 years plan because the safety of Paradis Eldia which is his people is more important than the queen. Remember what Kruger once said "A king that can't protect/didn't care about his subjects is no king at all" so civilians life is more important than the queen life. And after the 50 years plan is complete there will be many royal blood children from Historia so the royal family will keep live on and the next king/queen place would still being secured.
The royal blood is once important but not anymore after Ymir Fritz is already free from the paths/titan realm. See that, NOT ANYMORE meaning it once important but now it doesn't. You know what that means, it means AFTER the war is over, the royal blood would be considering Useless since the titan power would probably disappear or the founding titan can't order any titans anymore or Anyone can use the founder power without royal blood seeing by the facts that YMIR FRITZ is already free and leaving the paths/titan realm which also means no one will serve the royal blood anymore. Not to mention AFTER the war is over and the whole world is already being destroy, there's no reason for Eldia to fighting anymore, meaning there's no reason to using the titan power and royal blood anymore. Which also means there's no one who would pressing Historia to make many children or becomes a titan and shortening her lifespan anymore.
Eren knew that he need to have a contact with titan with royal blood to awakening the founder, heck he knew about this information first before revealing this information after being asked by Paradis military. When asked why he didn't revealed this information much earlier, his anwer is "I don't tell this thing, because I simply care about Historia well-beings". And even before that, when he first found out about this, Eren thoughts were this "I will glad to sacrificing my life if something can change, but I'm not ready/ can't bear to sacrificing Historia".
Seeing that he can't sacrificing Historia no matter how easy that sounds like, Eren finally choose the hard route which is using Zeke as the catalyst for awakening the founder because:
1. Zeke is already a titan with royal blood, meaning Eren didn't have sacrificing anyone with royal blood to completing his plan since the titan with royal blood is already exist, since the reason of why people want to sacrificing her is because it's the only way to keep themselves safe and alive inside that tiny island.
2. Zeke already deeply trusted Eren, so pretending to following his half brother plan would be easier. The only things that make this a little harder is because Zeke a little suspicious towards Eren motivation, but even with this Eren can still beat Zeke in his own game.
3. Eren simply didn't really care much about Zeke well-being and safety since he didn't really familiar with Zeke and Zeke isn't one of his most important peoples in his life. In other words, Eren considering Zeke "Expendable" meaning Eren only seeing his Half-brother as a tool for his plan.
This brought us to my conclusion:
A. Eren orchestrating all of this madness and insanity because he can't bear to sacrificing Historia
B. Eren view towards Historia is more different than his view towards his friends, seeing he prioritizing Historia safety over his other friends. Don't believe me, let's take a look at this information:
-Raid on Liberio: Eren call his "Friends" towards the battlefield on Marley even though he knew that by doing this is the same as ordering all of his friends to die seeing by how dangerous attacking a enemy territory really is, and look at the outcomes, 6 soldiers and Sasha death.
-Forming the Yeagerists: Eren order Flock to creating this organization, and make himself as the leader and Flock as the co-leader. They basically Eren guardian dog and his servant. After the "Warrior" attack Siganshina, hundreds Yeagerists is already massacres including Young Louise who considering Mikasa as her idol. Then after the "Eldia-marley" alliance is formed, the Yeagerists once again being slaughtered by them leaving Flock as the sole survivor. Then Flock finally died after Mikasa shoots his neck with ODMG wire.
-Keep his "friends" locked in a cells filled with soldiers that already digested Zeke spinal fluid: Eren even dare to locked his friends inside a cells without any weapon to defending themselves, and that jail is filled with peoples that can transform into titans for god-only-know when. It could be anytime considering Zeke mood and his judgements. And not to mention They can practically died from being eaten by titans without can defending themselves. Eren already know about the wine plan before his departure towards Marley in chapter 130, so there's no reason for him to lock his friends inside that cells filled with soldiers that can transform into mindless titan without leaving any weapon behind for his friends to defending themselves while fully know that by doing this, Eren literally risking his friends live once again.
See how much People and Person that Eren sacrificed because he can't choose the options to sacrificing Historia. All of those peoples that I mentioned above would be still alive and happy if he can just simply sacrificing Historia instead of causing all of this madness.
I've been reading your theories and I completely agree with you. One thing for sure, if Eren cared for his comrades more than he cared for Historia, he would've commanded all the titans to stop attacking the alliances, knowing his friends would probably die fighting the titans or the Yeagerists. Yes, he could see his future memories and knew Mikasa, etc. would probably survive, but he was willing to take a risk of them dying. And if he cared for their sake more than he cared for Historia's, he would've listened to Armin & Mikasa and cancelled the Rumblin plan, like why would he destroy the whole world if all the people he deeply cared for ("more than he cared for" Historia) are already against his plan? Didn't he do it for them? But it'd make sense if he did it for Historia who probably had told him that she is having his baby (maybe they did it out of pure love 😁). Maybe Eren wanted the freedom for his child and the woman he loves, maybe.... Eren probably knew he was going to die and not gonna see the freedom he has been seeking for, but he still did the rumbling anyway. Now, the question is: what is he doing the rumbling for if he's not gonna be alive to see the freedom he's wanted? I'm sure he 'had' to keep moving forward (do the rumbling) for someone else, someone who is more important than his own life... His child, perhaps?
I might be wrong and Isayama might think something completely different than my theory, but I'm willing to take the risk of being a clown by saying that I agree with you, Eren might execute his plan and sacrifice his friends for the sake of Historia and their child.
And I don't believe Historia lets herself to be impregnated by some random guys just to save herself from turned into a titan by the military. She refused to eat Eren and ssved him instead because she remembered what Ymir had told her (live the life you proud of, or something like that). Now, would she ask any guy to impregnate her just to avoid being turned into a titan? I don't think she would do that. If ever she wanted to get pregnant, she would've asked a man she could trust, a man with whom she had shared a close bond. I believe Historia is not a weak woman who couldn't defense herself (if the military forced her to eat Zeke) and chose a cheap plan (by getting impregnated by any guy she could find). She got pregnant for a bigger purpose, and that's why she looks more depressed than before. I believe she looks less happy because she is thinking about and caring for Eren.
But that's just my theory, only 2 chapters left and I hope Isayama will give us a satisfying ending.

He literally told her to run cuz he needed Zeke and if she ate Zeke his plan would be ruined. He already saw the future AND his father's memories so he knows that if she becames a shifter, she won't help him do the rumbling. Also, he clearly said he cared abiut all his comrades and wished they lived long lives this is why he doesn't want a life of breading for her and then being eaten cuz that means she'll die soon. Eren loved all his friends but he had no choice but to do that plan, he needed them to help him in Liberio cuz otherwise, the enemy would have attacked them and everybody would be killed. And Historia not attacking Liberio is clear cuz she's a queen now who doesn't fight, and pregnant on top of that. Why would he bring her lol. After reading chapter 138 it's clear Eren did all of this because he had no choice and because Mikasa didn't give him the answer he wanted. It clearly shows that if she confessed, he would have abandoned all of his friends ( including Historia ) and ran with her. That other alternative was him giving up everything to live in peace. He said also that on that alternative, he would have let Historia become a breading machine. So since Mikasa didn't give the right answer, he decided to continue wjat he had always done: protecting and freeing everybody that's why in that alternative, he didn't accept to let Historia sacrifice herself cuz in that alternative reality he's the one who does everythibg to save his people and protect his friends.
HIstoria x Ymir theme(REBORN & ECLIPSE) is one of the best songs in AoT. But if you will read the lyrics of eclipse it is more like it is for Eren and Historia because they both choose each other in the most crucial part of the storyline.

You can call me an Erehisu shipper, I don't care. I think Eren and Historia might have romantic feelings or deep affections towards each other and that Eren did the Rumbling for her and their unborn child. Here's why:
1. Eren cares for Historia more than his other friends. Why? How? It's clearly that he refused to sacrifice Historia. But the question is why? Is it because Historia is a queen that can't be sacrificed? I don't think that it's the only reason. Eren doesn't care about the royals before, he doesn't even care about the high rank millitary officers/government who run the island. So, his reason not wanting to sacrifice Historia comes not from her queen status but from something else.
2. Eren is willing to sacrifice his comrade, but not Historia. Why? Everyone knows Eren cared about all his friends. He sacrificed himself to save Armin in S1, he saved Mikasa. He is super close with Sasha, Connie, and Jean too. But it's plain to see that he is willing to sacrifice any of them in order to execute his plan a.k.a doing the Rumbling. Why not sacrifice Historia instead and keeps many of his friends safe? It brings me to question number 3.
3. Why did he want to do the Rumbling? Eren loves freedom, yes, no one can deny, but why the Rumbling when most of his closest people are already against it and ready to die to fight it? Eren probably knew he wouldn't be alive by the end of the day (he has seen his future memory), so why bothers being a villain and doing the genocide if he won't see and feel the freedom he's been long for? For his friends? Which friends? He doesn't seem to care about Flock who is extremely loyal to him. He doesn't care if Sasha, Hange and many others die because of his actions. He doesn't care about the military officers and mentors who got turned into titans, he doesn't even care if Armin or Mikasa could get killed or harmed because of his plan. Besides Zeke and his grandparents, Eren has no other family, and judging by the way he treats Zeke, I don't think he cares for his family's sake (his grandparents are probably as strangers as Zeke to him), so I don't think he did the Rumbling for his family either. Now, Eren is probably not gonna be alive to see the freedom (Gabi shot his neck and severed his head, would he survive from such wound? I dunno), so why did he insist on doing the Rumbling? For the sake of Paradis Island and the inhabitants on it? Well, he could've just sacrificed Historia and gone along with the 50 year plan. With his founding titan, Armin's colossal titan, Historia's beast titan (if she was to be sacrificed), and many many many colossal wall titants, Paradis Island would be able to defend itself and destroy Marley's alliance army. They've already gotten Hizuru on their side, slowly but steady, they might change other countries' opinions about them (not to mention that some of those countries hold grudges against Marley). But once again, Eren refused to sacrifice Historia. Why oh why he doesn't want to sacrifice one person to save millions? He didn't mind sacrificing Sasha. Does it mean Historia is more important than Sasha to Eren? She surely is!
4. Eremika shippers always argue that Eren x Historia is not gonna happen and that Eren cares for Mikasa more than Historia. Hmmm, are you sure? It seems to me Eren cares for them equally for the least. But let me present my argument that Eren actually cares for Historia more than he does for Mikasa (no hate for Mikasa, she's been one of my fav characters from the start). A. Eren refused to sacrifice Historia while he has no problem letting all the past titans attack Mikasa. Yeah I know Mikasa is really strong and Eren has probably seen the future where Mikasa may probably be alive by the end of the day, but still, would he risk the life of a girl he loves more than others just to execute his plan? Seems to me Eren chose to do the Rumbling instead of sacrificing Historia. Do you see the differences? B. In episode 9, Eren smiles after seeing how happy Historia is (after she found out that Mikasa shared the same burden as her). Eren definitely smiled at her and her happiness, not at Mikasa. Why would it make him smile? Eren rarely smiles, but he still gave her that smile even though Historia's burden should not affect him. He smiles because he genuinely feels her happiness and he probably wants to ensure her happiness and well being last as long as she lives.
5. He did the Rumbling to create a better world for Historia's baby whom I believe is his as well. Eren most likely won't survive after being decapitated by Gabi (unless Isayama says otherwise 😂), so why did he keep doing the Rumbling even though he is opposed and fought by his ex comrades (even Mikasa is against him)? It'd make sense to me if he does the Rumbling for his own child, the only part that will be left in the world (since he is going to die anyway). He wants to create a world where his children will feel the freedom he has never had and what he has been fighting for. Eren always wants freedom for himself, so even if he won't be alive to feel it, at least his child, his own bloodline will.
Thus, it makes sense if Eren is Historia's child's daddy. Do you really think Historia would let any random guy sleep with her in order to save herself from being turned into a titan? She's not that cheap or desperate. So, what if Eren and Historia did make love and it resulted in her pregnancy? Eren would definitely do anything to ensure his child will live in a free world.
Plus, I honestly feel Eren and Historia's relationship is the opposite mirror of Ymir the founder with King Fritz. Ymir is a titan who is enslaved by King Fritz. King Fritz forced her to give birth to his successors and thus titan era began. In this case, Eren is Ymir's subject and Historia is King Fritz's descendant. So, what if Eren and Historia's child would end the titan era and mark a whole new era without titans? What's begun by a royal and a slave/commoner will be ended by a royal and a commner. Wouldn't it be a nice conclusion for the whole story?
These are just my theories. I can be wrong or right. Let's just wait for the last chapter and see what Isayama has had in mind for all these years.
