  • Euroexport 4g63 tool review. We are taking the valves, springs and retainers from an Evo 8 head. This is what we will be using in our talon project build.
Special thanks to Jason B for donating the Evo 8 head.

Great video thanks for the upload! Just a question can you use that in all 1G and 2G even the NA heads? And that valve seal remover tool can you also use it for installation of new valve seals? Thanks!

Yes the tool works for all 4g63 and 4b11 motors. I don't recommend using the seal remover tool to install new seals. All you need to do is slide the new seal on ,then using a socket similar in size push down till it seats

I just picked this up today, when I compress the spring the valve pushes out so I can’t remove the keepers, how did you keep your valves from moving?

Try just using the cup from the kit. Set it on the retainer and hit it with a rubber mallet. It should shock the keepers and make them want to release.

@@VegaTuned I went through and whacked all springs, maybe I didn’t hit em hard enough? Anyways I’ll have to try again tomorrow wife’s complaining I’m making “too much noise”

@@oscargutierrez970 Did hitting the retainer with a rubber mallet end up working out for you? Doing they the same thing right now as I’m trying to replace the valve stems

@@Andrew49683 I used a deep socket and a mallet , gotta put your back into it . Then then at least 1 keeper will fall off and you can take out the retainer , spring and valve .
