    As far as I'm concerned, Rey Mysterio doesn't have a civilian face. The mask is his real face.

      +Jordan Stusiak (Kingfisher's Brother) I think I know what you mean. Wasn't a luchador buried with his mask on after he died?

      Yeah, well. Rey Mysterio can be whoever he wants to be, I just wanna remember Rey Mysterio the legendary high-flier. Unmasked Rey seems wrong.

      +MrAndersonLP You do realize there is a reason Floyd Mayweather (the PPV king) always pandered to the latino audience right? Having an ethnic fanbase tuning in to you means $$$. Rey hit the nail on the head, hence we got Alberto Del Rio now as US champion.

    • @scottydog771
      @scottydog771 8 лет назад +2

      +Xandinho Sports I think while it might be a contributing fact MrAndersonLP's point was that it wasn't the biggest. I think the fact that feuds and matches as well as the characters has been slightly decreasing in quality over the last couple of years which is a bigger problem. While the lack of Hispanic talent might add to it I don't think it is key. However we will soon find out with Del Rio recently returning, so maybe the numbers will go up and show that you and Rey are right.

      ***** never said they didn't, but it's a shallow view to assume that's the sole reason for low ratings.

    I completely agree about the lack of a Cruiserweight division. So many talents would be perfect to compete in that and would be putting on amazing matches. Also helping getting certain guys over that might've otherwise not got a shot at the bigger titles

    • @Trayxxxx
      @Trayxxxx 8 лет назад +1

      hey Alpha, funny seeing you here. but in all seriousness, I 100 percent agree, I think it would be good to bring back the cruiser weight or light heavyweight championship. heck, they could make it the main event for WWE main event show. lord knows that would give me a reason to watch it

    • @wwejamal09
      @wwejamal09 8 лет назад +1

      I think WWE just sort of limits what the cruiserweight talents can do. For example, Justin Gabriel had to go through multiple test runs to prove to WWE officials that he could do the 450 Splash without hurting himself or opponents. Same with Evan Bourne and the Shooting Star Press, and I'm assuming Neville and the Red Arrow was the same. Give cruiserweights a little more freedom, allow them to showcase their skills. Look at cruiserweights in Japan and Mexico. I think if WWE gives cruiserweights a bit more freedom, then the Cruiserweight Championship could make a comeback. Maybe.

      Hey Alpha love your channel man! But considering how WWE is right now, they don't care about the "wrestling" part of the whole company. Hopefully Vince will open his eyes and realize his company is going downhill.

      +AlphaOmegaSin I believe your good friend Razorfist said it best. If they're going PG, why not bring back the greatest division to market to the PG audience? Hell I remember going to live events and seeing so many kids wearing the Rey Mysterio mask. They bring the fans, they bring the energy, the bring the amazing talent, now hopeful it would bring up the ratings.

    We need a Kalisto push. The chemistry between him and Neville was amazing.

    • @bigcheese4096
      @bigcheese4096 8 лет назад

      +Josh Moores that's because sin cara botched everything and was a wimp(stopped a match with ABR because he dislocated his finger) wwe was trying so hard to push him, he was hyped up for weeks and messed up on his debut. so because of that the "sin cara" character probably won't get a push, but as for Kalisto, he needs to go off on his own, lucha dragons aren't going anywhere

    You can really tell how much more talkative and passionate Rey got after his son was mentioned. He probably gets asked so many questions about the WWE and his career. I feel like that question really broke the ice between him and Adam, he became more than just another interviewer bugging him about WWE, someone who was interested in what Rey's interested in, his main priority, his family.

    Adam, I've been watching for a while now and having done broadcasting my whole life, I want to tell you, you have great interview skills! You ask open ended questions, give Rey plenty of time to answer without trying to impose yourself in to the answer (many interviewers are horribly guilty of this) and you seem genuinely interested in your subject.

    I remember thinking that the Dominic storyline at Summerslam back in 2005 was super awkward and weird for the WWE to do. OMG I am lost for words, it really really genuinely surprises me WWE didn't even attempt or suggest losing his mask. I would of imagined them asking him weekly, especially in his last couple of years.

    they need to bring back the cruserweight division. it was too exciting and that's what the people want. it was always entertaining and always kept you on your toes cause of the quick paced wrestling.

    It's good to see Rey again.
    I don't watch AAA (is there perhaps also English commentary? just wondering), so I rarely get to see him, aside from old WWE videos.
    Good to know he's doing well.

    Awesome interview. Just give Smackdown to the cruiserweights and watch that show take off. Perfect content for the PG era.

    I'm glad my cruiserweight division question made it in, and I agree with Rey that if it was around today I think we'd be seeing some great stuff. I can't be the only guy that miss WWE Velocity.

    Kind of funny that Rey said that "Sin Cara" makes a good job in WWE but he knows very well that the Sin Cara in WWE is just Hunico and the old, original Sin Cara is in AAA with the name "Myzteziz", Rey and Myzteziz even had a match in AAA
