I played this game so many times back then I wish they’d make a part 2 it was absolutely brilliant and amazing, I remember getting the combat down and being so proud and saying “KICK HIS ASS JODIE” 😂😂
Meh, I honestly prefer Heavy Rain over this game, because at least there your actions had consequences, in this game on the other hand, actions means jack. Hell Quantic Dream took Heavy Rain's formula and built upon it in Detroit Become Human which is what makes me hyped for that game.
@@porradenomeahfoda-se2667 Better than heavy rain or Detroit? In the case of detroit I agree, already in heavy rain I am in doubt, for me their story is equally good.😁
The combat is indeed difficult. But if you want to do it flawless, you have to pay very close attention to Jodie's movements. You have to move the joystick towards the direction she is moving. For example, if she moves her fist to the left to hit a person, you have to move the joystick to the left. If she goes to the right to dodge, move to the right. It is really tricky, but you'll get used to it.
The only real problem with the game is the chronology of the chapters at one chapter she is 9 at other she is 25 at another she is 15 it would had worked better with a traditional chronology because it would had helped us connect more with the character jodie
Joshua Belmont Reese there is a chronological order mode that you can play through, with the exception of a few chapter where you play as a 9 year old Jodie but that is just to give you insight into something
Just like Jodie says in the prologue, she doesn't remember everything in the order they were, so you play the chapters in the order she remembers them.
I dont think its a specific martial art. But considering that she joined a law enforcement field (cia), its most likely krav maga, its one of the most used ones nowadays for speial forces, ot they just made a training based on common crime fighting situations. But be aware that real fighting/ self defense doesnt exaclty look like this, things arent so well rounded like you punch, i block, i counter, you get a little disoriented from thr punch etc, most of the times fights look messy and all bc you cant really predict the next move and most of the times ppl wont be that bothered from a punch, adrenaline kicks in and they can barely feel the pain, they usually get it and keep swinging at you. The ufc is an example of it
Beyond is a better made and more serious hame But Heavy Rain is a lot more “stupid fun”, plus the story is more engaging and easier to understand (though not always cohesive) and has better and MORE quicktime event sequences/choices (the fact that this game is 7-9 hours long with only 8 minutes of quicktimes is very telling lol)
The amount of discipline she has with her training i really saw the loneliness and pain in her she was finally able to let it all out here!
The homeless one was the best fight scene.
I agree ^.^
lilhoneycreeper 50% because of the music.
+Maud Pie ^.^
lilhoneycreeper Just put that music in every fight scene and everything gets intense.
Maud Pie i agree
The train scene was intense as well as the homeless part
It's impressive how small Jodie is

Yes I'll try my best to record those parts I've been busy lately
Too bad the combat was complicated at least in my opinion
Yeah, to me it looked like some players had a difficult time trying to decide which way it's supposed to go
all you need was some focus
it was easy for me you just need to take a look at jodie's direction of movement

@@thanoof wait some actions looks like it's going in top-left/right and down-left/right. Which way should the joystick go?
@@ive1976 I know, it's so fucking confusing
women can actually fight like this and the women beaters better watch out
Shit, you don't want them to know.
