Just started using my echobike for HIIT intervals. I’m addicted to gasping for breath in near panic, feeling as though I have COPD. It definitely fills a spot that weight training did not. It’s helped my weight training too.
Brandon two points i disagree with. One- i usually hate the seats on bikes at the gym and prefer normal bicycle seats, but I love the seat on this bike. And Two- it is totally underrated for endurance work. Once you master holding a certain cadence by the tempo of your feet and sound of the fan, it is just about exactly like every other cardio machine out there. I absolutely love this thing and use it for HIIT, LISS, and warmups. Like it more than ever cardio machine the gym has to offer. And it is so unlikely to break down or require maintenance! And i can exhaust myself even quicker than with a prowler! Built my home gym this year and this was the superstar purchase.
I was wondering this. I was told about this bike by a friend of mine who is a cyclist and said instead of getting a stationary bike to look into these. I know everyone states that they are good for HIIT and warm ups but if I want to ride it for 30 mins I am sure it is solid due to YOU having to put in the work to move it. I mean that sounds like a brutal and in the end the result you want. A machine that gives what you put in it. I primarily trying to burn fat and get rid of stomach fat. Sorry for the rent just looking for some info.
@@Doughboy213 It simply depends on how hard you want to work. If you go fast then it’s going to wear you the fuck out. If you have more of a relaxed pace you could go for 30 minutes or an hour no problem.
I like my echo bike. It's fine for longer cardio too. I go through periods where I do just legs, then legs and arms. What I like is that it forces you to keep the output going and really cant't coast. Oh, and I just screwed in the phone holder sideways.
Same. I use it for just legs, steady state or interval for about 20 min then a leg workout. I'm recovering from ACL surgery and it has been a great addition.
Here's what's missing from this review. Heart Rate Monitoring. Very important consideration. Steady state cardiovascular exercise, in a 70 - 75 range over 35 minutes. For me, at 60 - around 118 bpm, wearing a Polar chest strap. I've lowered my blood pressure dramatically. All lipid blood levels have improved. At that pace, I ride 10 miles a day. I'm extremely damp when I'm done, and none of my 60 y/o joints hurt. Please don't steer people away from steady state on the Rogue. For the money, it will outlive most people who will use it this way. You can will it to a loved one. Thanks for reading.
I have one and love it. I use it in what I call the "Pain Trifecta", a 3 mile run, a 30 minute uphill treadmill walk with a 50 pound weight vest, followed by 200 calories on the echo bike. Fun!
I've been using my Echo for aerobic work of 60 to 90 minutes at a time. It's perfectly fine for this. Dude, you kind of complain a lot over trivial issues! And yes, I traded out the granny seat for a road bike seat. I agree with you, the Echo is a perfect overall cardio conditioning piece of gear that is best for interval work. You can jack your heart rate very. very quickly.
Rogue's shipping sure seems to be like random acts of violence lately. I love their stuff, but for smaller things they just kill you. Every time I look at something I cringe when I go to the cart because you can never guess if shipping is going to be $25 or $375, it seems completely random.

That $60 Airdyne is now a $200-300 Airdyne. You can also get a great workout with concrete weights or go to the woods and get a free log. If you are using it to warm up, sure, but if you are going to pound on it on a regular basis, I don't think it's going to be something most people want to use. I'm guessing most of the people that watch this channel aren't setting up a $200 garage sale home gym, if that's even possible these days.
i used to see them all the time at garage sales, some for $10-$20 bucks. sometimes at the curb when no one bought it. :( i guess no one knew what they were.
I've been using the 20 seconds of work 10 seconds of rest interval setting lately. The only good thing about it is that you never have to be on the bike for more than 10 minutes.
For those of you who have this and the bike erg, what makes the bike erg better? Genuinely curious. I currently do both steady state cardio and HIIT on the echo. When doing low intensity steady state, I'm not moving as fast but my heart rate is still at 130bpm which is why I'm doing it in the first place. I'd consider upgrading to the bike erg if it does something the echo can't.
I love my Echo Bike. I’ve had it for 3 years. We have a Peleton as well but can’t imagine using that as a warm up. We have a Concept 2 rower that I’m contemplating on selling though 🤔🤔🤔
i would never sell mine, but your review is pretty accurate in terms of how it "feels" like it wants to be used, if that makes sense. This really isn't a great bike for low RPM ride or something you are going to stay on for an hour, though I have done it. The Concept 2 Bike Erg is way better for this and it has bluetooth so you can use it with riding games/apps like Zwift. The one comment I will make vs something like the peleton, is that all that tech can be very frustrating when you're trying to get a quick workout in and it wants to do updates or just has an issue in general. I lost count of how many times my high tech treadmill delayed my work out 20 minutes to do something like this. Also, brands like Concept 2 will have replacement parts for years if not decades. If you have an issue with a Bowflex treadmill, you will be lucky if they have the part in 3-4 years, as they will have moved on in producing newer models (can't speak for Peleton, but I suspet it will be similar). The basic design on the Concept 2 Rower, for example, has not change in decades. But i agree with the sentiment of what Brandon is saying- if you only have a budget, space, or desire for a single piece of cardio equipment, this is probably not the best choice.
I forgot add one other good point he made. When covid hit and the waitlist for these things was over two months and gyms were closed, I bought a Schwin AirDyne 2 for like (AD2} for like $399 at Dicks Sporting Goods. It's not nearly the build quality or resistance as the Rogue, but it gets the job done and not at all a bad machine. I put a decent amount of time in on it and when the Echo arrived we took to our cottage where it still gets used today. If you don't want to commit 800 bucks to a one trick point (or space, because the Echo is quite big compared to other bikes), there are other acceptable options.
Really good feedback! From my experience that hasn't been an issue with the peloton yet after a year of using and riding every day. Updates usually happen in off hours so hasn't impacted me yet... fingers crossed!
Perfect review! Its important to tell every aspects of a piece of equipment and give different perspectives as to who is it for instead of just saying "its great! get it!". Everyone needs are different and mentioning it is what makes your reviews so excellent!
I got one late January in Canada. It took less than a week to get here and free shipping. Rogues shipping has been really impressive from my experience. Also snagged the wind guard a couple days after I ordered the bike.
I’m unfortunately considering selling mine as well. I bought one of these recently and while it’s an excellent piece of equipment, no matter how much I adjust the seat, I get knee pain after I use it. I’ve used other types of stationary bikes in the past without issues, so I’m not exactly sure what makes this bike’s setup different to where I experience that pain every time.
@@Jackhardman93 I think it just depends. If it's not a great piece of equipment I'll sell it for a good amount less. Example, StrongArm Buffalo V2 Bar, purchased new for $350, sold a week later for $200. On items that are great and/or out of stock I'll creep closer to MSRP, but I don't bake in the shipping and taxes like some people do. So I sold my Ironmasters for just under MSRP at the height of covid, where others were selling them for 2x. I'm pretty open to negotiating as well, or if people say they like my channel I'll usually knock money off lol. I figure I get my use out of items and if they go to a good home I don't mind losing money on them as I'd rather sell quick and easy.
Rogue should make a cheaper version of the Keiser Full Body Trainer using silent progressive magnetic resistance. It also increases resistance that harder you pedal using both arms and legs but is totally silent. However the Keiser is far more expensive at well over $2,000. I guarantee an affordable magnetic "air bike" would be a massive seller.
Thank you tall sir for your thoughts, I don't mind no wind guard on mine since it will wake me up in my cold garage gym and reminds me of my youth growing up in Alaska where mother moose used to chase me while walking. I like the look of it in my gym as well and the warm up/hiit factor. Till next time , Ta Ta
You mentioned everything you do on the air bike you can do on the peloton. Unless you’re pumping hand weights, which to me feels clumsy on the peloton, how are you getting good arms/upper body intervals?
I do a lot of more serious training on a regular bicycle trainer. It's kind of interesting that you would want a wind guard on one of these when for most serious cycling training, you can't get enough air blowing over you. lol
@@BasementBrandon nicer motion and I use the sound the wind makes as a queue for my pace and rhythm. I prefer leaning into it and using my upper body as well at a slow pace as opposed to leaning back and just using my legs. We have the bikerg and echo in my gym but i always choose the echo for both hiit and ssc. Can find a nice pace with the echo that's not too exerting and often spend an hr with it infront of our tv at home.
I'm looking at the Schwinn Pro and Echo. Had an Assault but I feel it was built slightly crooked as my right inner foot/heel always hit the bike. Which is why I sold it. Never had that issue on actual road bikes. I really liked the bike besides that issue. And loved doing intervals and getting cramps/nausea. I don't want a SkiErg Which do you think is best?
I don't have any hands on with the Pro, but I do see it's been discounted down to around $1000. I know Coop likes it but I believe he things the Echo is the better bike/deal.
I'm 3 years late, but would you say that the Rogue Echo Bike is too loud for usage in an apartment (disturbing neighboors)? I seriously want to buy it because it seems perfect for a home exercise equipment, but I'm worried about it being too loud.
@@Wvh-r3i It's the curse of the natty. I get those comments all the time too. Kind of like a backhanded compliment, I still get a lot of people who tell me I don't look like I lift.
I have just purchased one of these from the Europe store for the UK. Have not got it yet, but am really looking forward to it. I intend to use it for HIIT sessions as well as longer rides. I had a spine bike a while ago, but hardly every used it, so sold it on eBay.
Yes, the bike did arrive and it is brilliant - love it. Have been using more for longer cardio sessions rather than HIIT and it is really good for that. You get a full body workout which is great. No negatives that I have found so far.
lol trust me I send them unsolicited feedback all the time. on a serious note they did take some of my feedback on the stringer recently, which is good news!
I agree if you’re just using it to warmup or cool down and not doing tabata type drills, you don’t need to spend $800+. you can spend a lot less and be happy. Otherwise, if you use as its purpose was intended for the echo bike will murder you and make you say uncle. I also sold mine and use our treadmill for warmups etc
Hey Brandon, can you make a video on how to sell your equipment? I bought some stuff that I want to sell and I'm not sure how I can do it safely, etc. Cash, paypal? Do you meet them at your house or somewhere else, etc? Craigslist, FB, etc?
I might be able to do this, but to be honest I'm not a great seller. I tend to price things a bit lower in an effort to move them quickly, but could prob give some feedback/experience.
Great review! Super glad you mentioned Peloton at the end because I’m thinking about getting one for my wife and me to use. My wife wouldn’t use an Echo or fan bike if I ever got one. Would you do consider doing a review or providing thoughts on Peloton? I’d appreciate your perspective as someone who mainly lifts but wants to get some regular/consistent cardio into my routine.
I def will, I'm behind on videos so not sure when. Bottom line for us it it's been a great investment. I end up riding it just as often as my wife (every day), but just not as long. I typically only use it for 5-10 min as a warm up before training days and save my actual long rides for the weekend. She loves it too and has really helped kick start a normal gym routine for her. I will say it's pricey and you could prob do most of the same stuff on a cheaper set up/bike. But it's one of those things that the UI is so well done it really makes the experience.
@@BasementBrandon thanks so much for the reply. That’s exactly why I want it. I’ve never had luck sticking to a cardio “method” but I did enjoy doing some @GCN classes on a spin bike at a local gym when I was going and the Peloton classes are much more engaging, versatile, and “gamey”. It’s definitely pricey but if it gets you on a consistent routine then it’s a great investment like you said. I’ve been 90% sure about getting one and getting a lifter’s perspective like yours is really helpful so thank you, thank you again for the response.
have it - use to for steady state - bit boring but doable. Like all air resistance flywheel stuff (concept rowers) - great for intervals but hr long stuff is achievable if you can resist the boredom
sure it can, it comes with dumbbells and has classes that incorporate arm work on the bike :) But then again if you're relying on a bike to work your arms I think you're just "spinning your wheels"
Hah I don't have the space or want to keep everything like Coop does (would be nice). So I tend to go through a lot of things and keep the things I like only. Great way to get a pretty upgraded gym.
Man... your videos never disappoint. I tossed a coin between the Echo and a Concept2 Rower. Went with the Rower and this video made me feel better about my choice.
The answer is going to be dependent on you. Personally we get more use out of the peloton, but the Echo is cheaper and doesn't require a monthly subscription. If you're interested in peloton, I'd look on FB marketplace. Can get them for like $400 now
Thanks for the info Brandon. Im in the market and vacillating between the Rogue Echo and the Peloton. Having used both of these now, would you recommend one over the other if it were just you and not your wife using the bike? And of the two, which takes up less floor space, is the floor space difference significant enough to consider? Thanks.
Personally I'd still go Peloton. I really enjoy using it. I'm at almost 2 years of ownership and have done about 1000 workouts on it, with 700 of them being cycling.
@@Eric3Frog I have done classes for stretching, yoga, running, walking, and meditation. They also have strength training classes, but obviously not catered to power lifting.

Interesting video. I am kind of in the same situation - purchased a NordicTrack bike and also have the Echo Bike. Was looking to sell it but talked myself out of it. May actually look to sell it again.
My issue with stationary bikes is I dont have a butt, and my bottom starts to hurt a lot after only 20 minutes. It has nothing to do with the seat or padding, its the riding position. If you're vertical, all your weight is coming down on the saddle. On a road bike, you ride more horizontal, with better weight distribution. I can ride comfortably for 2 hours on a saddle with almost no padding on my road bike. Stationary bikes, I can get the saddle the right height, but the handlebars are too close and too high. Less of an issue for shorter riders.
@@BasementBrandon thanks!!!! I ended up ordering the Rogue bike just because the peloton is out of my budget but if I have any issues or don't like it I'll sell it and get the peloton +.

@@BasementBrandon Thanks. They may have modified the size. I just saw a video on the 'No Fate' channel and that Cup Holder looks to be a little bigger and fits a Blender Bottle perfectly fine.
The elliptical is my favourite cardio piece at commercial gyms, but I only go about twice a month these days on back days for lat pulldowns/cable back exercises as I invested in a basic functional home set up and don't have a lat pulldown or high/low pulley yet, but I do have an Echo as my main cardio piece. If you're looking for conditioning/HIIT stuff I'd go with the Echo (a Skierg would probably be good too), as Brandon says it is a good warm up tool which is what I use it for mainly too, I'm alot bigger than Brandon too (I'm 6"5 1/2 and over 300lbs) so the durability and build of the Echo is a prime factor of my purchase also. Longer steady state cardio I'd go the elliptical (I walk around my suburb for my steady state these days). You can do steady state on the Echo for 15-20 minutes but I feel you have to go slow at first and pace yourself into the session, I feel if I go too hard too early I'll burn out, so for the first 5 minutes I'll stay under or around 150 watts, then work up to around the 200 mark and maintain it. I haven't gone over 20 minutes continuously yet on this though, normally 2-3-4 sets of 5-10-15 minute intervals is plenty for me when I am getting a bit of cardio in. Hope this helps
@@BasementBrandon You should still consider getting the Airthings Wave to see how your radon varies. There is no safe level of radon. My active radon mitigation system brought my levels down from 8.2 pCi/l to 0.5 pCi/l on average, but I still see spikes up to 1 pCi/l.
don't mean to be that guy but why get one of these instead of a road bike? Is it just so you're closer for HIIT? I know my HS has one but I just don't understand it. Cool gym too
When I used to ride, I wouldn’t leave the house unless I was doing 100kms (70 miles?) at least. Once you put all the kit on... just not worth it. This is specifically for a cardio warmup. Same effect as carting a couple plates for the same time.
@@mastervaderm16 If you move the handlebars the same way, you crash. Plus shitty weather and things like vehicular traffic, and stop signs can interfere with consistent training.
I've played with a lot of different cardio things, I used to be a fast (for recreational) runner and biker, then had a permanent change of health where I became not as fast (muscles and cardio fatigue more quickly than used to be the case). I got a used Elliptigo longstride and it's been awesome. I never did ellipticals, but this is an elliptical bike, which makes it more fun. While travelling, I've used a nice hotel elliptical (with a monitor to stare at sort of like you're doing an actual mountain hike). That was ok too--but getting outside on the Elliptigo is more fun. I've lost 18 lbs (pretty much all I needed to lose) just using it for an hour, 5 or 6 days per week, and eating normal sized meals, not overeating. I have also had a C2 rower for 10 years, but don't use it as much as I used to. I'll still do some intervals on it here and there, particularly on really cold/wet days. C2 rower is a great piece of equipment, holds its resale value pretty well if you get tired of it.
@@BasementBrandon that's good then. I meant to ask you, what model Peloton bike did you get ? Did you also get the access membership option and did you do a review on it ? I know those bikes are more expensive, but I agree I prefer the option of changing the resistance settings as well.

HI my name is Brandon, and I'm addicted to home gym equipment...... :) Build quality on this thing is SUPER BEAST! Love your Reviews
Haha I think I'm pretty good for the most part about equipment, if something new comes in, something old has to go!
@@BasementBrandon you are better than me! 👍🏼
So early that Brandon hasn’t sold it yet 😂
Haha sold it like 2 hours after filming this yesterday!
Haha what do you usually like to get for your equipment Brandon 75% of RRP ?
@@Jackhardman93 Brandon is a fantastic seller. 5/5 stars on FB Marketplace and hooked us up with a sweet bar for a fair price.
Bought a used Schwinn airdyne for $50 !!! Great bike does the job and love this !
Good deal!
I have an assault bike and love it, just ordered the Echo bike aka BEAST and can’t wait for it to deliver!
Punishing yourself!
You think so?
I was thinking the same thing!
Brandon is looking beefy in that rep hoodie. I need to get one of those 😂
out of stock
I love this bike, I use it for steady state cardio all the time.
Right on!
Love your vids bro they were a big influence for my own powerlifting training and home gym set up
Thanks, hope you're happy with your purchases lol!
Haha right on!
This is the way.
You mentioned everything you do on the air bike you can do on the peloton. Unless you’re pumping hand weights, which to me feels clumsy on the peloton, how are you getting good arms/upper body intervals?
It's more the aerobic work. An air bike won't really give you that much in terms of strength or hypertrophy for arm work.
I do a lot of more serious training on a regular bicycle trainer. It's kind of interesting that you would want a wind guard on one of these when for most serious cycling training, you can't get enough air blowing over you. lol
This thing puts out a ton of air being a fan bike though, which isn't ideal when you're in colder temps and only using for short durations.
@@BasementBrandon I can definately see that. It's just amusing to me how positives can become negatives or visa-versa in the right circumstances.
I find it great for solid state cardio, prefer it to the concept 2
Yeah? Care to expand?
@@BasementBrandon nicer motion and I use the sound the wind makes as a queue for my pace and rhythm. I prefer leaning into it and using my upper body as well at a slow pace as opposed to leaning back and just using my legs. We have the bikerg and echo in my gym but i always choose the echo for both hiit and ssc. Can find a nice pace with the echo that's not too exerting and often spend an hr with it infront of our tv at home.
@@Fatfrogsrock Appreciate the context!
I think at around 50-60rpm I can go all day
I'm looking at the Schwinn Pro and Echo.
Had an Assault but I feel it was built slightly crooked as my right inner foot/heel always hit the bike. Which is why I sold it. Never had that issue on actual road bikes.
I really liked the bike besides that issue. And loved doing intervals and getting cramps/nausea.
I don't want a SkiErg
Which do you think is best?
I don't have any hands on with the Pro, but I do see it's been discounted down to around $1000. I know Coop likes it but I believe he things the Echo is the better bike/deal.
I cant wait to laugh at the next nerd I hear use the word "pedals"!
Have to cover up my mistake by making fun of others :)
Haha. The exact same story with me. I bought a peloton and sold my Echo. It's a great bike and my colleague who got it is very very happy with it.
Glad I'm not alone!
I'm 3 years late, but would you say that the Rogue Echo Bike is too loud for usage in an apartment (disturbing neighboors)?
I seriously want to buy it because it seems perfect for a home exercise equipment, but I'm worried about it being too loud.
Great video as always. Thanks for all the advice, it has me more than you know.
Thanks my dude, appreciate it.
Great video as always Brandon ! Thanks for all your content brotha.
Thanks Mauro!
Coop and his soft hands
That's what happens when you don't lift.
Coop deadlifts 1000lbs. I heard him say it but n two different videos.

Solid piece of kit!
Garage gyms remain in flux; our needs change and we adapt. Nice review!
Thanks for taking a look!
Still available? I'm local and can pick up
Was sold before even making the video!
Bought my echo bike for 375 off some dude who obviously didn’t know what he had or didn’t care
Solid deal!
I have just purchased one of these from the Europe store for the UK. Have not got it yet, but am really looking forward to it. I intend to use it for HIIT sessions as well as longer rides. I had a spine bike a while ago, but hardly every used it, so sold it on eBay.
Hope you dig it!
Did the bike arrive and how are you finding it as an exercise machine?
Yes, the bike did arrive and it is brilliant - love it. Have been using more for longer cardio sessions rather than HIIT and it is really good for that. You get a full body workout which is great. No negatives that I have found so far.
I am able to use the phone holder both portrait and landscape. The bottom tab helps to put the phone in landscape mode. I have an iPhone.
Nice, I find mine falls since they're all the same length
Great points. Hey Rogue, will you please run your builds by Brandon to save us all the headaches.
lol trust me I send them unsolicited feedback all the time. on a serious note they did take some of my feedback on the stringer recently, which is good news!
And the deadlift platform.
I'm impatient so apologies of it's already covered-whats the difference between the Echo and the Assault bike?
Chain vs belt drive.
Yep chain vs belt!
Thanks guys.
I've found I can still do some of those drills on the peloton!
Agreed with George’s comment
How loud is this bike? Do you think it can be used in an apartment building?
It can, but it's still not quiet. Don't have a dB rating
@@BasementBrandon Thank you.
Hell yeah! I was thinking about getting one too.
Great bikes, out of stock now lol
have it - use to for steady state - bit boring but doable. Like all air resistance flywheel stuff (concept rowers) - great for intervals but hr long stuff is achievable if you can resist the boredom
Def agree, it can be done, but given that we have another (better option) just didn't make sense to keep both!
I just got one of these and when you add on accessories they make you pay shipment. I thought that was weird.
Def is.
Haven’t started the video yet, paused it on the ad. Are you selling it because of the Peloton? Lol
;)
I saw you commented on Joel review for the blitz air bike 2.0. did you get a chance to get your hands on one yourself?
I did not.
I appreciate that Brandon gets rid of shit and explains why. If it doesn't work for him then why keep it. 👍🏻
Helps fund other things to buy :)
What about your arms and upper frame? the peleton doesnt work your arms.
sure it can, it comes with dumbbells and has classes that incorporate arm work on the bike :) But then again if you're relying on a bike to work your arms I think you're just "spinning your wheels"
As much as you flip equipment, I wish we lived in the same town 😂
Hah I don't have the space or want to keep everything like Coop does (would be nice). So I tend to go through a lot of things and keep the things I like only. Great way to get a pretty upgraded gym.
Just got mine yesterday! It took me months and months to finally decide. It’s pricey. But I like it so far. How much did u sell it for?
$650
I love cardio equipment. I've got a treadmill, C2 rower and bikeerg and also contemplating on buying the echo bike.
Right on!!
Hey brandon what bar would your recomment to buy in europe. Is it worth to spent €350 on a rogue bar
It depends. I think Rogue bars are very good, but you may be able to find something equivalent for less money locally.
Man... your videos never disappoint. I tossed a coin between the Echo and a Concept2 Rower. Went with the Rower and this video made me feel better about my choice.
Both are fantastic IMO
So between this and peloton what’s better? I was thinking to get Echo in addition to peloton but now not sure if it worth it
The answer is going to be dependent on you. Personally we get more use out of the peloton, but the Echo is cheaper and doesn't require a monthly subscription. If you're interested in peloton, I'd look on FB marketplace. Can get them for like $400 now
"If this is in a cold garage/basement during winter
That could be a deal-breaker" BARZ

Nice. My wife and I are thinking about doing the same thing. Did you go with the Bike or Bike +?
We did the bike, but if we could do it again we'd spend the extra on the +. Wasn't sure how much we were going to like it at first.
Dunno why, but I love your fitness reviews the most of anyone
appreciate it, thanks dude!
That Air Bike is heavy duty, and heavy duty tools are for public gym, unless you are 160 - 200 kg then you can have it alone in your garage
Eh heavy duty tools for heavy duty use, even at home!
@@BasementBrandonI’m confused. What were the other 300 training sessions on the Peloton, if not cycling?

so whats a good steady state thats low impact but still good at burning calories?
I believe the research shows steady state to not be very effective at this.
Great video! And wow 130lbs, that's really good they offered free shipping for it.
True!
How well does this bike work for longer threshold steady state riding at 140-160 heart rate?
Is it still pretty quiet at that speed?
It's still louder than traditional bikes due to the fans.

Usually gorilla tape for banners and hooks for flags. Surprisingly I made a video on it lol.
@@BasementBrandon oh ok I should've looked. Thanks!
Spring cleaning 🧹
You know it, the annual basement clearance event!!
I think the trade off here is you don't need more than 5 minutes on this thing lol.
Are you able to drop some weight and get in shape doing 5 minute HITT workouts on the echo bike
yup
Not sure you will see this but do you mind me asking what Peloton bike you got??
Just the regular bike. If i could do it again I'd shell out for the bike+
@@BasementBrandon thanks!!!! I ended up ordering the Rogue bike just because the peloton is out of my budget but if I have any issues or don't like it I'll sell it and get the peloton +.
I really love airdynn’s but I live in a apartment, do u think I could use this in a apartment building?
They will get a bit noisy so as long as you're not doing it at odd hours I don't think it would be a problem.
Arkon phone mounts are heavy duty and will solve the problem if you want flexibility with options on how to orientate your phone directions!
Nice!
Rogue website states Blender Bottles fit in that cup holder. Is that 20oz bottle you demonstrated a Blender Bottle?
I'm looking to add the cup holder, but pointless to do so if it won't even fit a 20oz Blender Bottle.
It's not but it's a similar size, however if it's on Rogue's site I'm assuming they tested.
@@BasementBrandon Thanks. They may have modified the size. I just saw a video on the 'No Fate' channel and that Cup Holder looks to be a little bigger and fits a Blender Bottle perfectly fine.

Sold mine for full ask $650 in less than 24 hours so you could prob ask for more. When the pandemic first hit I saw them going for as high as 1000
Would you recommend this over and elliptical? I'm wanting something primarily for conditioning
Problem with elliptical are the good ones are pretty pricey and they take up a lot of real estate.
@@BasementBrandon What would you recommend for GPP?
Do you mitigate radon? If so, what're your levels? If you don't know, check out the Airthings Wave Plus.
We had a passive system put in even though our levels are below 2.0 pC/L
@@BasementBrandon You should still consider getting the Airthings Wave to see how your radon varies. There is no safe level of radon. My active radon mitigation system brought my levels down from 8.2 pCi/l to 0.5 pCi/l on average, but I still see spikes up to 1 pCi/l.
@@TonyNovation TBH as long as it's still below 2.0 and even slightly higher potentially I'm fine with it.

don't mean to be that guy but why get one of these instead of a road bike? Is it just so you're closer for HIIT? I know my HS has one but I just don't understand it. Cool gym too
You don't have to worry about the weather outside with a stationery one
apples vs oranges IMO
When I used to ride, I wouldn’t leave the house unless I was doing 100kms (70 miles?) at least. Once you put all the kit on... just not worth it. This is specifically for a cardio warmup. Same effect as carting a couple plates for the same time.

Whats the best cardio machine for at home to burn calories ?
The one you'll use.
@@BasementBrandon but which one?
@@frederik7761 That's up to you. Find something you like doing (bike, rowing, ropes, etc)
@@BasementBrandon which one burns the mist calories and has benefits for more muscles?
A rowing machine?
And what is a good cardio machine?
Thinking about this to replace an elliptical that takes up 3/4 of my bedroom.
Def a smaller footprint
Good review, I respectfully disagree about not working the 3 energy systems with the Echo bike. I guess it depends on individual goals.
