Why is the camshaft not demonstrated here? The most interesting thing in a small engine. Where's room for that in a lawnmower engine? But thanks, now I know what a choke is and what a primer means in English.
How fast does the crankshaft need to spin to cause ignition? Lawn mower starts with pull cord but not electric start. Replaced battery and bought used starter.
Thx have an upcoming test in auto class so this helps 👍🏼😎
Just wondering how’d ya do?
@@hanamustafic4284 I don’t think he’s gonna remember-
What is a carburetor and what does it do? I wish they explained this before just randomly throwing out terms.
why does a mower kick back hard when trying to start.....????
+frank hern Typically because there is timing issue with the engine. The most common cause is a sheared flywheel key.
The most likely cause for that is the spark could be occurring at the wrong time in the cylinder.
"If you anticipate storing the fuel for longer than 3 months, consider adding a fuel stabilizer when you fill the container." ...or just put the fuel in the car.
What u mean put the fuel in the car bro? U mean detach the fuel tank from the engine? Or like use the fuel meant for the lawnmower for the car instead and letting the lawnmower as good as not having been used at all?
@@lylesloth1275 fuel that was in the plastic gas can.
