Watching your latest videos as I build the framework to support the skirting on my tiny house on wheels. 😂 / 😩 It’s a situation where I’ve waited for the help that said they would, but life and their injury got in their way. I recently finally got the tiedowns in. And while measuring today, I see that the end does have 2 more threaded rods for tiedowns. Ugh! I’ve done 8 already. So much work! And I’m making ravs & chicken in broth as I build. Your decorations look so pretty inside & out! 💯 And also about the slow cooker fail.. I came home from work a few years ago only to find out I turned mine to keep warm not high.. 😂 That is rite up there with putting clothes in the dryer but not starting.. 🙋🏻♀️ yep. The Christmas decorations look really nice, Melissa! And the taco soup looks really good. It’s been a while since I made taco soup. Maybe I’ll go out tomorrow and get the ingredients for it, but I’ll have to probably freeze most of it cause I’m going out of town for Thanksgiving to my brother’s. It’s pretty cool to get to hear the Christmas music at the train station nearby! I was wondering what size crockpot that pioneer woman crockpot is. It is so pretty! I’ll have to try and look for one. I think it’s time to change out my boring silver one.🤪🤪
Love the cute pumpkin mug. I have seen the Pioneer Woman dishes at the Walmart stores in my area of Texas. Pet or no pet, I would not do tinsel, it gets everywhere, and I usually have an artificial tree, that I can reuse, it would be a pain to take them all off. A Garland is one thing but not tinsel. I already decided on a 4 ft tree, with lights that change colors and various settings, it can go from clear to color, and going back and forth, or you can set them to clear or color. It has various settings. It is at Walmart for $30.00. I already have plenty of ornaments. I would put bulbs that change colors in the wall scones, then you can change them to green and red for the Christmas time, and other times when you need regular white light change them back, that is the beauty of color changing light bulbs. Love your Holiday Decorations in your house.

I was waiting for this vlog. With my husband finally coming home tomorrow from the hospital, ( double Pneumonia ) I put up our tree last night and decorated it this evening. A surprise for him after he has been in the hospital all week. You look so happy and I love your hair. I love your decorations. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

That recipe looks so good. I make a taco soup that uses 5 ingredients, and it is good also. It saves me from buying so many things. 1 lb of cooked ground beef, 1 can of whole kernel corn or Mexican corn, 1 can of black beans or pinto beans, 1 jar of salsa, 1 can of beef broth. Let simmer in a crock pot or on the stove. You can use shredded chicken or pork if you choose. If you do, use chicken broth. Top your bowl of soup with shredded cheese.
I love battery operated lights. I still have more things to put up, i just wanted to get lights up and the tree. I wasn't in the holiday spirit to decorate until today, it's been warm here, so at least today it was cold!!! Oh, and thank you! I noticed I'm at over 4k followers, so exciting! 🥰😊
If you cook in an instant pot you save huge amount of electricity and loose less liquid in what you are cooking. For a broth soup you will loose 1 or 2 tablespoons of liquid in instant pot, but almost a cup by slow cooker or simmer on stove.
You do realize Thanksgiving is late this year? Lol it's usually right about now. It's on the 28th this year. I usually do start decorating on Thanksgiving. In my town here, I'm LATE decorating. Everyone in this town has decorated for Christmas on Nov 1. That's way too early for me. Have a great night!!!
