This week we worked on hand-to-hand Charleston, and how to transition in and out from basic 30s Charleston. We started with the basic rhythm (step step kick step kick hitch kick step) then added a push away, connecting to the follow’s hip. We then used this push away to get into hand-to-hand Charleston with leaders doing repeated kicks. We then danced the hand-to-hand Charleston rhythm (kick hitch kick land, kick hitch kick land) and returned to the basic Charleston connection by dancing the entry in reverse.
