The Raptor is a fantastic Unicorn (well Warthog) vehicle. Amazing in person and on paper. It is also a specialty vehicle. It is not designed to be easy to live with just tooling around town. It's wide as hell doesn't fit in parking spots or small garage's. The WIldtrak can totally keep up the the Raptor offroad 98% of the time. How often can you safely drive faster then 40 or 50 mph off-road ? Not often and both vehicles do that and more all day. The WIldtrack has 25-30% more range offroad, and that is huge. The Wildtrack shocks are fairly identical to gen 1 Raptor stuff, the FOx shocks on both are fantastic. SO Wildtrak for everyday use. Raptor for multi car ballers that like gas station visits.
People who don’t understand this vehicle have no idea what it’s like to do off-road driving. It’s way more fun and challenging than any track day can ever be. Especially when you go wide open in a purpose built rig like a Raptor over foot tall sand mounds and rocks. I probably have a warped view of things, since the only time I’ve ever done that kind of off-roading was in a decently high end RZR, but even just going slow over giant bumps in an old Yamaha ATV is way more fun than driving a car, on any road at any speed. A Bronco Raptor with some Katzkins would be a dream vehicle to me.
My question is what dealership has both of these on a lot right now? I’ve never had a hot cake but I’ve heard that’s what these are selling like right now
I bought the wildtrak, 90 percent of what the raptor can do, I’m not doing it. Those 37’s not good for a daily either. Eventually there will be better fender options and the bronco will be sweet looking.
Out of control. Paying for like 30% plastic. I looked at a 2 door Wildtrack yesterday it has an all rear plastic bumper. Front one was steel but rear is all plastic. I think they are way over priced. But they look real good. Ford knocked it out of park on looks. Quality control is kinda lacking.
Hey you should check out tfls review of the Everglades bronco if I remember correctly the rear bumper is plastic because in some instances it can get caught off-roading and rip off… if I’m not mistake the thought process this would be cheaper to fix/replace than if you were to do the same with a steel bumper… doesn’t make much sense to me but I think that was the claim.. don’t quote me I could be wrong😂
comparing the regular bronco to the Raptor bronco is like flying on a private jet compared to flying commercial. Once you experience riding in a private jet and not having to deal with lines in an airport. Getting on a regular commercial airline is not fun anymore. It becomes beneath you at that point. lol
Amazing review mate, I’m waiting for my 2023 wildtrak to come next month and since i could not get a raptor, ford will tune it to be as powerful as one lol… craving for it.

Ford wanted to make the most usable and practical Bronco Raptor. They could easily stick a V8 in it, but then that 7mpg is gonna make all that hardcore off-roading equipment useless. The type of engine you’re wanting is for a garage kept weekend car, Ford is trying to make real cars that can actually go out there in places others can’t -and come back.
Neat looking car. If ford actually expected to sell a lot of these then the price would be reflecting that. Anyone willing to spend $80-$100k on a car either has more money they know what to do with or likes having a car payment equivalent to a mortgage and likely needs some financial education 😂
@@OliverConradOrtega and unless you own a car detailing or auto repair shop, the IRS is going to laugh at someone who spends $100k on a ford bronco and tries to write it off..first thought will be “this ain’t a tax write-off, it’s not business related” and in comes the audit letter. To each their own though.
Raptor looks nice but way overpriced. Too much like a regular bronco. Should have been a V8, different lights instead of amber drls, and those fenders are ass. 😂
For the price the Wildtrack should be more like the Bronco Raptor including the 3.0 engine and the Raptor should have the supercharged V8.
To be realistic. The b raptor at least should have the 3.5 ecoboost

He is driving a Bilstein shock Wildtrak, not the same.

I like everything about the Raptor more except the price.

Depending on price if I can get wildetrack for 65 I bet the raptors are going for a hundred grand am I wrong I hope so.
i have 2023 wildtrak and i can just have a chip upgrade add 44hp to the 330 it already has for 500 bucks and its in raptor range for 40 grand less

A lot of people who own businesses will buy them and write them off. Their tax guy tells them to spend $100,000 or write a check to Uncle Sam.
