  • The Collision detection software option is an additional feature to reduce the effects of collisions. This function is ideal for any type of application, especially where the installed gripper has exposed to damage parts or the robot operates with fragile workpieces.
Collision detection does not required any additional sensors or hardware, it is a completely software function. This option is a paid feature and must be configured by the local distributor.
Note that this option does not completely reduce the effects of collisions. This option also does not turn an industrial robot into a collaborative one.
