Etat libre d'orange can be found at discounters under $100, although I really don't recommend blind buying their stuff. I just bought the last Mancera bottle in store for 75 bucks and it's 120ml. Make more videos like that. I'd like to buy only niche but I can't smell them in Sephora so it's usually a blind buy and well, I'm m not gonna spend more than a 100 bucks, 150 tops if it's super worth it.
Many Margiela fragrances are amazing. People rave about Jazz Club and By the Fireplace, but I stand by Sailing Day (one of the finest aquatics out there in my opinion) and Under the Lemon Trees (a scent of Aperol in a fragrance bottle).
Most of my niche purchases (I have 28 niche bottles at this point) have been under $100. There are great deals to be had put there. I have 2 Serge Lutens fragrances, Chergui and Arabie, that are amazing.
Timbuktu is my first niche love. It’s great warm scent that works well in the summer. The mango is very strong on my skin, it smells like a deeply spiced mango slowly roasting on a grill and moves from aromatic to sweet and spicy. A lot of sweet fragrances give me a headache but this one is so clean smelling that it doesn’t ever get cloying.
Strangers OLIVER!! $80/30ml at Luckyscent, so you might even find it for less somewhere. As wearable a fragrance as you'll find anywhere. However, if Nasomatto's Silver Musk finally slips under a Benjamin in price (it's getting there at FragranceBuy, THAT is the winner!! Hey man, btw, love your reviews and insight. I sincerely wish you the best on the launching of your own fragrance line. I'll definitely get my nose on them soon!!

I glaze over when a reviewer starts talking about niche frags that hover in the $300+ (discounted) range - think MSK. I love the quality of niche frags, but I can't seem to get into spending $300. I like Mancera's and Montale's price point and recently picked up Red Tobacco recently at about $85 on e-bay. Thanks for the content and I'd like to see more niche fragrance 'bargains' in the future.
There is a fragrance discounter here in Southern Africa that sells authentic designer and niche fragrances for great prices. For example Mancera Intense Cedrat Boise 120ml is going for about 102 USD.
Timbuktu reminds me a little of Andy Tauer "dessert" frag. They are a similar scent profile to my nose although going in very different directions. Actually love both but Timbuktu is more versatile.
Just picked up M01 and M02 100ml here in the UK, love them both, simple but grab compliments. Another classy scent, TF Tuscan Leather alternative is Rasasi La Yukawam. Smells amazing and put together so well.

I bought the 120ml of Ambre 114 about a month ago from FragranceBuy Canada for about $100. So that one is a fantastic scent available in the $100 or less range at reputable discounters.
Well my pick would be Summer Snow Intense by Bracke Cosmetics. Just like your favourite pick out of these five it s made by Bertrand Duchaufour (he made all the fragrances of the house). You can pick it up for around 50 euros for a 50 ml bottle and it s absolutely fabulous. Long lasting, gourmandish, compliment pulling superperformer. I ve written you a mail about it a couple of days back with some more info to the fragrance. Also , they ship worldwide!
Ash, have you tested Truefitt & Hill West Indian Lime Cologne ? That is the best lime scent, but of course, it will not last long. Also, any chance of doing a review of Givenchy Pi (not "air" or any of the others, but the original) ?

Hi Ash! Fragrances has been a hobby of mine since a couple years back and I can really relate in regards to the initial statement in the video.. Im always on the lookout for a cheapie with character and Im sure there’s plenty of affordable niche perfumes out there which would suit my taste very well.. I mean.. who else gets excited about the smell of steamingly fresh asphalt or some dusty gravel? 😂 Edit: Great topic!
I've had my eyes on nothing but Mancera lately. Problem is there's so much to pick from I don't know where to start. Lemon mint is my go to pick or maybe Sicily or wild candy. I don't know haha
I hear ya " I've bought about 23 of them but mostly the mens the rest are either super femme or too rosie for me but the scent longevity and performance are great and not everyone knows about them so unique to the average person
