Great review of all 3 kits. I'm an electrician and use the tech lc to store what i call my second fix tools and "nicer" tools that I'm sick of ruining or losing in a standard bag or box. Then I use just a normal tote for my install gear like hammer, hacksaw chisels etc. If I'm just chasing a fuse board or doing minor works it's so much more professional walking in with the veto than an old dirty bag that you also use for tools when your 1st fixing.
I'm an electrician, I've had the tech Xl for about 6 years now and wouldn't want to be without it now, still looks good, so it's stood up well. The CK case would probably last me less than a year.
Great bags just the huge price tag. If they were under 150 I wouldn't have an issue. Plus with my back I simply couldn't carry the weight on the larger bags. As for pipework I use a plastic tub tote costs about 16 quid. Large bags are great for those jobs where you can roll up outside the house. But as soon as you've got parking restrictions or a block of flats you need something very light.
Great informative reviews PB.just spent a load on veto and additional Wera products thanks to you.keep up the good work.starting the new year with some nice new tools👍
I have just purchased these bags as my wife was frustrated with my 10yr old one which was around 40kgs and had stuff thrown in it every where. Showed her your bags and organisation and she has been checking out all your other videos as she loves organisation. I do not on the other hand. Have you done any videos on how you have organised your fan with fittings etc. Like copper, push fit, soil, gas, iron building. I am always carrying too much and so my van is always a right old mess with no floor space. Thanks again for sharing
Hahaha its cool to see how things are different in other countries. Here in the us our bits come in sets but without a holder so the little pockets up top come in super handy for putting them in. Other wise there just loose in a pocket somewhere. Great videos I really enjoy the channel. I'm hvac tech.
Man I'm so jealous of your setup. I have all the bags you got minus all the kick ass Wera stuff. I think you have your TP3 setup perfectly. I'm gonna steal that setup for my own. Thanks for the awesome review. Aloha!
Never heard of veto, come to find out they’re about 45 minutes from my house and 15 mins from current job site we’re on. Over across the pond in Connecticut
Nice kit you have! Agreed the little top holders are useless, nothing fits, not even a stubby. Other than that, my tech-pac1 is by far my favourite bag & the best bag I've ever owned.
I use this bag as a mobile auto electrician, so to answer your question as to why anybody would have things loose this is one of those jobs. Most cars only require a handful of socket sizes therefore you don’t need the whole set weighing your bag down, ideal for sockets for us👍
Hi Pete great video .about tool bags, have you also got a tool bag on wheels.as I work in Manchester, no parking anywhere near the apartments I fix, so having to carry heavy tool bags is no good on the shoulder, ha ha so I have a tool bag that rolls along like a suitcase .which is great..keep vids coming really like them,,,,honest and say it how it is.....great.
Quite insightfull , to one bag /pack/Pouch will fit all trades . Veto’s tick a lot of boxes ,and can be adapted . The Open topped totes are good for non specific gear , strongly recommend the CT-XL .
Was thinking about the joker set and also the 3/8 ratchet set or maybe 1/4” set. I’m an electrcian similar tools. I also like how Wera has their tools stored in those kits.
I don't know if you heard of a company called plumb best. That make a 6 and 8 inch pvc saws that will fit perfectly in the LC bag. I use the 8" all the time to cut 3" and 4" pvc all the time. Check them out if your wanting and everyday carry saw to put in the bag.
Seen a lot of people put drill driven nut drivers in the small pockets on the bags , you've probably found something that fits in them by now though! Need an updated video !!
Hi PB, big fan of your videos. Just wanted to ask the bag that you use for servicing, can it fit a standard water U gauge in? I want to get one for servicing myself. Thanks
I've got the TP5, looking to get an OT Veto bag for my install bag with my gas bottle flux guage etc. TECH LC up to the task and can the TP5 attach to the side? Thanks man great videos
Alright bud your bags are impressive....just a couple of questions what fluke meter have you got on the tp3 and where do you go for your wera gear ? Cheers 👍🏻
“Hi my names pete and I’m a wera addict” I can’t see past my husky 20” tote just now. There isn’t a single veto that can carry what the husky does. They look like great tough bags though especially if you want your tools covered and not open.
Daz B hi mate, my Vaillant rep gave me them, if you see your local rep for one or if it's possible go to a trade show like Installer Live where you'll get loads of little freebies like that. It's a very good radiator key
Great video! Big fan of wera too! Random question but what trousers do you have there? I thought it was the scruff ones but I'm not sure they look good though!
Ricky Nelson xl was too big for me yes, just remember it’s only wider not any taller, so you get more pockets on one side but on the other side the layout is different and that didn’t quite work for what I wanted Hope that makes sense ✌🏽
quick question what do you use the iPad for? great video buy the way! I have just got the tec pro and love it! I'm going to get the smaller ones now as well!
Great load out of your bags, biggest question I got is your trousers, who makes them? I like the front pockets and looks like integrated knee pads or?? Where did u but them? I like my Veto Tech XL, great bags.
Wow that is some serious investment into your profession, I seriously hope you have all that life saving gear insured and all invoices kept there are some nasty b*stards in this world! They are pricey tool bags but man there is not many other alternatives out there that have kind of quality put into a work/tool bag. Top stuff. Keep the videos coming really enjoying them, thumbs up.
Hi mate I'm a Spark from Wales just had the tp3 following this review, currently using a dewault bag loads of room in there butt everything just gets thrown in, be nice to have a service/call out bag, cheers Brad
P B Plumber Little update ... just uploaded my loadout for the tp3, still got to play around with it a bit to get it sweet. Would like to of got my fluke t-600 in but as it comes in it's own pouch it's to chunky to get in 😬 cheers- Brad
Sadly , toolbags obey the same rules as drill presses , and lathes . No matter how big or small , their will be some application , that won’t fit properly .
I can't get over a flashlight being called a torch. What is a torch if you call that torch a torch?! Yeah you have the metric system but in the land of the freed we have proper names.
Years later and still a great video man, this is the reason I got my Tech LC!
Eu também, por isso acabei comprando a LC os vídeos dele são muito bons..🇧🇷

Nice one PB, I was thinking of going for the open top versions but after seeing your review the closed top are a better option. Great bags.

Glad to see other plumbers stepping to veto from the 5 gallon buckets... nice set up.
Great video! Would have been nice to see a size comparison between the Tech MCT and the Tech LC.
Nice kit you have!
Agreed the little top holders are useless, nothing fits, not even a stubby.

Great review mate. I've been debating over the Tech LC or Tech MCT for a while now. Just ordered the LC!

nice review PB, you should do more youtube vids!
TP3 is a great bag... loving all the Wera! You need to ditch the channel locks for knipex
Keegan Hayde I have a set of Knipex, nerrad, crescent and channelock ✌🏽️
Knipex need to make a flat jawed set of grips that open as wide as the cobras.
That Wera magnetic tray is sweet. Where can I pick one of those up? ah I'll check KCTool
Nalu Rash I make them myself, follow me on Twitter for a chance to win one ✌🏽️
Great setup bro..... Can't wait to get my tech lc its on its way , are wera screwdriver the real deal.....
I've got the TP5, looking to get an OT Veto bag for my install bag with my gas bottle flux guage etc. TECH LC up to the task and can the TP5 attach to the side?
Thanks man great videos
Mate, on your gas servicing bag where do you keep your manometer?
What is the weight and value of the bags when fully loaded?
Still kicking myself for not grabbing a TP3 , at the weekend . Bought a Tech Pack instead , kinda blew my budget !
Mate you should look into the PB Rogue 7.0 Kit Bag by Velocity Pro Gear. It's the ducks nuts 😜
Where did you get those pants man? Those look like a toolbag themselves. Looks very handy.
Where do you get the “pencil case” you connect to the bag....?
Man your tools are clean! 😜
Alright bud your bags are impressive....just a couple of questions what fluke meter have you got on the tp3 and where do you go for your wera gear ? Cheers 👍🏻
Great video, keep em coming . What hammer pouch is that and how's it attached?
Helmer hi, it's a wera belt loop I got with a Kompakt pistol grip driver and I attached it to the bag with cable ties 👍🏽
Nice set-up!
What’s that wera thing you’ve got your hammer in mate? Been slotting my hammer into the d ring the strap attaches into but it’s not ideal
Get this man a Wera sponsorship!
I see you really like Quality screwdrivers
Nice looking bags but your main kit bag has no room for copper pipe pieces, blowlamp, flux etc? Seems like you’d need a lot of bags!
Great Videos! Just ordered my Bags. What is that Hammer loop your using? Looks like it grew there and much better than the setting loop I have.
Karl Reardon hi Karl, it's a loop that came with one of my Wera screwdrivers, I just added it to the bag and use it as a hammer loop 👍🏽
P B Plumber Great. Do you remember which one? Any links? Cheers
Karl Reardon Kraftform Kompakt Pistol RA, 7 pieces www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0156CJHV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_K0B9zbXYJEF65
Alright mate what is that wera holster called on the side for the hammer I can’t find it mate cheers ?
TC Does Electrics hi mate, you can’t buy it separately it comes with the pistol grip screwdriver
Aww I knew I’ve seen it somewhere I want that anyway so two in one haha 🤜🏻👍🏻
“Hi my names pete and I’m a wera addict” I can’t see past my husky 20” tote just now. There isn’t a single veto that can carry what the husky does. They look like great tough bags though especially if you want your tools covered and not open.
PB how do you get your part bowl to stay in place?
Nice video. Still can't knock my Stanley bag at £30-40
Where did you purchase the hammer holder from?
Love the videos, just wondering where you got your black Makita impact driver from?
Great Video !
Love the wera precision kit ! You know the part number for that one?
This may seem like a random question but where did you get that vaillant radiator key from?
Daz B hi mate, my Vaillant rep gave me them, if you see your local rep for one or if it's possible go to a trade show like Installer Live where you'll get loads of little freebies like that. It's a very good radiator key
Take a look at the regin cuttakeep 👍🏻
Great video! Big fan of wera too! Random question but what trousers do you have there? I thought it was the scruff ones but I'm not sure they look good though!
Ryan McCusker hello mate, they are Jobman workwear STAR trousers, super light and very hard wearing 💪🏽
They look awesome! Think I'll pick them up along with the TP3 :)! Cheers mate!
Loving the videos and reviews. On the verge of ordering a veto bag. Did you look at the XL tech? Was it it to big? As torn between the LC and XL!
Ricky Nelson xl was too big for me yes, just remember it’s only wider not any taller, so you get more pockets on one side but on the other side the layout is different and that didn’t quite work for what I wanted
Hope that makes sense ✌🏽
I don’t think your right pb.
I think the tech xl is about 2.5 inches taller
Hi looks good what you've got , what van are you working out of ?
David Fairham hi David, it's a Vauxhall vivaro sportive 👌🏽
Hiya mate, What fluke tester do you have in your tp3?
Is it always that tidy @pbplumber 👍
Can you fit a gas bottle in the tech lc?
quick question what do you use the iPad for? great video buy the way! I have just got the tec pro and love it! I'm going to get the smaller ones now as well!
Ben Evans I do my landlord gas safety checks on Gas Checker App on the iPad, then I can email them straight to the customer
How much do does bags cost
Great load out of your bags, biggest question I got is your trousers, who makes them? I like the front pockets and looks like integrated knee pads or?? Where did u but them? I like my Veto Tech XL, great bags.
GEORGE ROBLEDO thanks mate, the trousers are made by Jobman Workwear, the ones I'm wearing are STAR 👍🏽
Looks cool
Do you use 3/4 x 1/2 spanners
tadhg muldowney I have adjustable bahco spanners as well as the wera jokers in my main kit bag 👍🏽

Bradley Jones Hello mate, glad I could help, hope you are loving the veto life 🙌🏽
P B Plumber Little update ... just uploaded my loadout for the tp3, still got to play around with it a bit to get it sweet. Would like to of got my fluke t-600 in but as it comes in it's own pouch it's to chunky to get in 😬 cheers- Brad
Sadly , toolbags obey the same rules as drill presses , and lathes . No matter how big or small , their will be some application , that won’t fit properly .
Good insights , thanks !
Chris Fyfe thank you Chris. ✌🏽️
Great bag but a shame a manometer won’t go in
You Wera maniac. You need to go through your tools was thinking about making the switch to Wera.

I can't get over a flashlight being called a torch. What is a torch if you call that torch a torch?! Yeah you have the metric system but in the land of the freed we have proper names.
