Wow this was so helpful, thank you! Obviously the sound is a cumulative result of paying attention to every track but I had no idea how crucial bus compression was..
sounds cool but the drums sound too 80s arcady, the synths and bass are fine they do have the justice sound but the drums they use are linndrum and sequential drumtraks, OBERHEIM DX, TR 909, TR 808 Drums which you can find online and get for free all you need is a basic drum pattern, some compression and a bit of distortion on the drums not too much but i recommend using camel crusher for the distorted drums and OTT for the compression side of the drums which are both free plugins, adding a bit crusher only makes it sound a bit off, but the main drums they use are the sequential drums for 2007 Cross and rumour has it they actually use Garageband. they like to add grit to there bass in Cross so i would add OTT and Camel Crusher and clean up the sound a bit. and dont make the bass to loud or to bassey or too over compressed. i honestly love doing my research on musicians like daft punk and justice and hope this helps alot of people getting confused. Links: Camel Crusher. www.audiopluginsforfree.com/camelcrusher/ OTT. splice.com/plugins/3788-ott-vst-au-by-xfer-records
Daft Punk side of sounds DRUMS: TR909 TR808 TR707, LinnDrum, Rhythm Ace Drum machine sounds. even layering sounds. SAMPLES: Disco songs and 80s Soul. Synths: Juno 60, Juno 106, DX7, TB303. VOCODERS and TALKBOXS, FLANGERS and PHASERS.
Thank you - ThatThing is on spot -- I'll buy it tonight; you can do the same with a collection of distorion (bitcrusher), tape, compressor plugins, but this one is just easier to use and comes with nice presets
Hello can we please get a tutorial on the band muna? Their drums sound so fat and i hear alot of reverb and then their synths are even more interesting

The bus send with compressor is just standard parallel compresion. You can use whatever compressor here. I use FabFilter
Hey. Is there replacement for That Thing? I see that plugin is discontinued. Looks and sounds awesome and would love to buy.
Nightshine VST
Hey I love this one and I made Daft Punk Storm Fiction made by me
Man
DBX comps
Most useful in the market
The "dirt" is because both bands record their music analog
its still a really good daft punk mimic tho
no they don't lmfao
Thats incorrect! I read an interview where Justice said they did everything 'in the box' on the song 'Waters on Nazereth' one of their dirtiest!
Its just Quadrafuzz
you need groove my friend !!!!!
Very informative, thank you very much!
Great sounds :) Did you use the stock LPX drums in the video?
I used samples from vengeance programmed from the mpc 2500.
+JS Baciu I used some sounds i collected over time mostly sampled from older records performed on the MPC 2500 for that gritty sound :)
is there a tutorial on the intro sound for this video ? sounds nice
Maybe justice but definitely not Daft Punk. Daft punk has a very unique sound. Daft sound.
more like unique in finding old samples
@@akirakus if it's so easy, why don't you make a song like them then ? :)
Not daft punk and even not justice either
@@Bustaliscious I didn't think it was easy and I recreated the alive 2007 concert. I have them uploaded on my channel.
@@Bustaliscious lmao what, correlation much
dayum
Where'd you get that thumbnail?
These photos are from Tsugi, a french magazine (Tsugi #2, November 7, 2008)

+Arpit Gandhi Thank you Arpit :)
Your mic gate is making it very hard to understand what you're saying.
is it possible to get the synth sound with a vst ?
Yes Sir ! Go check out " arturia collection " , there is an emulation of this keyboard , and many more
God I hope you figured this out in three years. You just change attack and filter envelope until you make a vvvoomp kinda thing
Hey bro need all synth plugins daft punk uses
It sounds like a super nintendo game..
More Sega Genesis tbh :D
Euh Ç est ni le style de Daft ni le style de justice
Tu m'étonnes, je suis d'accord avec toi
Brother give your insta I’d?
first off....logic
Sorry Sir, the song is ok, but this is not daft punk and not eighter justice at all!
The point of making this video is not showing how to exactly make justice/daft punk sounds, but to show how "that" sound can be a
