That's why my drift cars felt so much more grippy and not much drifty like, I hate R* doing this and it's made me slowly leave drifting all together
Just put lowgrips before u buy drift tune
@@gasiorek6621 they cancel out when u put Drift Tune on and they have basically nerfed the amount of power ur cars use to drift, it's like drifting the RX7
@gasiorek6621 drift tune removes low grips, and if you apply them (with mods), the cars are actually grippier.
I love how they just take things away that we paid for.

rockstar really likes to do a great update and then nerf and change all of the handling some months later......
whats the point in nerfing it in freemode? it doesnt help you win and make money like it would in races. rockstar is horrible
weird how they add a car thats highly cool for drifting IRL (the 300zx) and dont give it drift tuning
tbh they could easily add more drift cars they just dont cause they know they can capitalize on it once the game gets stale again

Bro Since it came out I’ve met two communities on Xbox and PlayStation and it was some of the best times I’ve even been in Stevies lobbies, 60 person chats tandems almost every day some of the best closest coolest drifting you can do in this game and I’m afraid the community is about to take a huge shift and die out there are to many good drifting games for people to try and learn this new lower version when what we had was manageable is perfect
Same, got back into it bout a week ago and been having so much fun and was hyped for the wide body sentinel and i just bought it and upgraded it and both cameras are broke, 1st and 3rd!!! fuckin rockstar dude

I’m just excited we got anything related to drifting tbh. Didn’t really expect much but being able to create drift races will be pretty nice. Plenty of roads the homies and I have been using that would make great runs.
Glad you pointed out the camera bug. But also when you tap the hand brake it jerks the camera to the direction of the car rather then the drift. Makes them unusable in races IMO.
Yeah I second this. I like the way the camera worked before the update. You tap the handbrake and the camera goes all weird. Wonder if there is a way to turn the camera back to the way it was....
@@silver5051 I went to support and they suggested clearing the system cache dunno if that works or not I haven’t tried it.
Im a little disappointed that the new Euros x32 doesnt have Drift tuning, but it does have HSW so thats definitely a bonus
I think everyone was waiting when R* to add the ZR380 without the damn armor from arena wars, added drift to elegy and dinka classic, added elegy gtr34 and elegy rh7 will have a body kit

Allow any car to equip the drift tune but only allow suitable cars to enter drift races. Just like the low grip tires and the tuner races. They were brought out in the same update, any car can equip the low grip tires that were made for the tuners but only the specific tuner cars can enter the tuner races.

That makes more sense. Someone else was saying that they tweaked the tires and added grip. But i think your right that they nerfed upgrades in freemode.
The Nebula is so cool
they really did the drift tune cars so quick they forgot first person camera
other thing i hope they fix with the drifting is that in third person you can visibly see your character actually counter steering or hand over hand steering but in first person its two hands on the wheel (forget that spinning style)
I dislike that they nerfed drifting bro . Like why WHY. I used to love doing high speed turns
I guess the Futo with drift tune will be the only budget drift car for lower level and poor players 😅
no the drift tune will more than likely be 2 million dollars or so to make up for it

Hey I noticed with the new cars the chase cam will lock onto the car randomly mid drift. I’m not gonna buy them if they can’t fix that ish

Im not surprised that the drift tune got nerfted, this is the same thing that happened to lowgrip before it got released for all cars. I miss prime lowgrip 😢
Me and my crew were just talking about this and couldn’t fully tell yet cause it was just a few of us so we weren’t positive if it was us or the cars buggin.😂 It’s sad to see but I can understand if they are trying to balance everything out for new drifters. Have you tested or talked to anyone that’s messed with the colors, under glow colors, roll cage, interior add on’s messing with the weight after the update? Me and a few buddy’s before the update messed with that stuff and the brighter the color the lighter the car and the darker the color the heavier the car was, same for the under glow. The roll cage, interior add on’s and stuff would make it heavier as well! I wasn’t sure if it was a placebo effect or not but we had multiple people test it and most of us said it wasn’t! It’ll be interesting to test and see how everything affects the cars now! (My personal favorite of the new drift capable cars is the nebula turbo, it’s definitely different but I feel that’s my favorite part, it has a good power band, great angle and could keep/recover angle and proximity.) 🤙🏽🤝
They could've added the drift tuning for so many cars that already were in the game, but they're too lazy and greedy to do it. I would've loved to have the drift tuning on the cheburek since its a very popular drift car here in Russia.

One thing I like about the DLC. The Yosemite 1500 is spongy and fun to drive. I'm excited for the Futo, but i'll stick to my Remus :)

I just happen to have a nebula turbo waiting for me in the auto shop
They need to make so many more cars drift/tuner tunable. If bandwidth is a problem, just use AI to carry the tunes over to the files and let it run overnight. You could have new files for every car if you wanted.

I made 1.5mill within 3 hours of playing the missions on top of just mucking around quite a bit in freemode
The two agents for 1.5mill, and they make like 9k per trip!!
Will take years to make that in. Best bet is to wait for discount.
Bail Enforcement business isn't for making money, the grinding is bad, is for people that already have a lot of money and are looking for new content
They should just add the drift tuning to every customizable vehicle

do cars benefit from ems, engine, break tuning before you add the drift tuning? tooltip says no, but i heard on other yt channels that it is beneficial to tune engine, ems and breaks before applying the drift tuning

What's with the camera change when you use the e-brake with the new cars
Yeah that is definitely another bug associated with it. I honestly thought it was a fluke but it does seem to be tied to the handbrake; otherwise the 3rd person drift camera seems to work like normal.
@@StevieWunderKidThey left the handbrake flag from the normal cars, when at speed and turning, it snaps camera to rear bumper in chase cam. The original Drift Tuning cars had this flag removed, and they still do.
All 3 of the new cars retain this flag, if you are not touching your camera at all, and you tap handbrake while drifting, it will force your chase camera line up with your rear bumper, so usually sideways from where you are actually traveling
Is it nerfed in missions?
The 3rd person camera is fucked too, at least in my sentinel wide body, everytime you press handbrake it tries resetting the camera straight so basically impossible to drift, rockstar logic.
Bruh, same. Feels like vehicle is stanced and not drift tuned.
Hopefully rockstar will fix this.

@@go1d for sure, I’m on ps4 but yeah they messed up big time, hopefully they fix it quick. I’m just glad my Remus still feels great, not sure if they nerfed it like the rest but it feels the same as before.
Yeah I noticed this more after I released the video, I tend to use the normal brakes more than the handbrake which is why I didn't immediately notice. Seems like the camera wants to work until the handbrake resets it. Not sure how they could fumble something so simple 💀

One thing I noticed was that it costs 700k to remove drift tune from the sentinel widebody (only tested it on one new drift car) instead of 50k. Not sure if it's just a bug or inflation hitting really hard.
Says 50k for me…. The wide body upgrade at bennys cost 700k….
ubwrmacht cypher feels the smoothest
In my opinion the Nebula Turbo feels the smoothest, all down to personal preference.
OK, so... It took them like what, 9 years to add drift handling? Modders did it in a year, maybe 2 years. And now suddenly, for no apparent reason, after half a year they decided to nerf it. But at the same time they've been nerfing Oppressor for something about 2 years. It feels like Rockstar are fucking trolls sabotaging their own product. A pile of mistakes, pathetic shortcomings and ridiculous decisions. I think they gave up on RDR online because they couldn't do anything without screwing up something that was working. If GTA 6 will be the same piece of crap wrapped in gold paper as GTA 5 n RDR, then fuck this shit.
Drifting is dead. Cypher is undriftable basically. Going to try the others but this sucks.
Killing free mode drifting is wild.

Typical rockstar. 1 step forward, 10 steps back. I took a long hiatus and just recently came back for x2 Dre Contract. Initially, i was okay with the nerf only affecting races. But this just ensured i exit stage left again. These imbeciles dont deserve the amount of time ive spent in this game. It's just as infuriating as CoD. As long as the trend continues, i won't be back for GTA 6.

Not in freemode it wasn't. I have results showing that both in this video and my past video on the topic.
Not it free mode it wasnt my guy. Drifting in free mode was like drifting when it first come out but drifting in races is awful, now its awful to drift both in races and free mode.
