The Lampedati Tropos is one of the other cars that got new liveries, however as of right now these liveries are just hidden in the game files with no (legitimate) way of purchasing them. Maybe they’ll either be dripfeed, or given out as rewards in some upcoming event.

I think the „drift taxi“ livery on the Cypher is a nod to the ones legal drift taxis on the nürburgring when drifting was still allowed. They had these official taxis that u could book a lap on at any touristenfahrten and they would obviously drift the track. Maybe thats where they had their inspiration. Im sure that the term „drift taxi“ is used on other tracks on the planet, but thats what came to my mind. Correct me if u have other ideas

When i first saw these new liveries, my jaw almost hit to the ground and almost almosttt forgive rockstar for ruining drift uprages. Also about tentacles i think they are trting to start and create their own special style because you know you can see a lot of dragon and tiger at real life drift cars with flames etc and then Rockstar came with octopus-kraken which is exact opposite of those animals. İ think thats brilliant and i love it.
Easter egg is definitely a reference to Iketani's S13, although maybe a little bit of Kenji's 180SX too? Iirc Iketani didn't have sponsor stickers on his Slivia's door, just the Akina Speed Stars hood sticker, while Kenji's 180 had the door sponsor stickers.

On Nürburgring Nordschleife you can book to be a codriver of insanely skilled race drivers that smash a lap half drifting. Usually a BMW. It is called "Ring taxi". I think that's the reference.
A lot of them are part of the drip-feed so you'll be waiting a while. I might do a round-up video once all of the new ones are confirmed / released - since I didn't know about the non-drift liveries I wanted to limit the scope of this video.
Hell yeah man, hopefully you're enjoying them. Based on my testing, spoilers don't really affect much - just don't go for one that's too big, otherwise it gets in the way during tight drifts and tandems lol
There is a downside to these liveries as you do loose some of the street racing liveries with it. I did it for the nebula turbo and lost a pretty good livery I had on it already for it.
@@Famen7 exactly, they have nerfed the speed soo much on the cars. Idk about the Cypher or the nebula but the sent classic wide was definitely to slow, it just wanted to stay in a straight line.
Seeing how the Thunderbolts livery has red white and blue with lightning bolts, I have a feeling that the Thunderbolts might be Rockstar’s Version of the USAF Thunderbirds
The drift cars were good when they first came out but after the nerf the suck ...this is actually one of the many reasons I stopped playing gta5.... useless patches

The FR36 has been the redheaded stepchild of the og drift cars in terms of customizing it. Glad to see R* is sticking with the bit.
