I love that Mimi could've picked anywhere in the world to live by the sea--Miami, the Bahamas, Nice--but as Liverpudlian of that generation the furthest south she could possibly imagine was Bournemouth lol
Great informative video and great photos. Most I have never seen. - knew of bits and pieces of this, but never the details you provided . Thanks for this!!
Wow that was an eye opener! But, I'm not surprised by Aunt Mimi's attitude. Because she's right. What a MORON that guy was to destroy it all! As for Ringo's biological Father? I was going to rip into him, but we don't know his side of the story and the full truth do we? Both the attitudes to Fatherhood and sex were VERY VERY different in the 40s to 60s. And, so was the mindset of men. Completely, different and more men orientated. One fact has been revealed: John's Father wasn't the reason for his marriage splitting up. John's Dad had been made out to be the villain when he wasn't. If anything both John's Father and Mother were both free spirits. One travelling the world and the other loving music. But, both, would've influenced John whether he admitted it or knew it. And the same for the other Beatles' parents. WW2 had a big impact on children born during the war years. Bare in mind, rationing didn't end until the early 70s? A long shadow over a lot of children all over the world. And the Beatles aren't the only bands who were WW2 children. The Who and Pink Floyd (as well as others) were affected. The Wall references Roger Waters' Father? Absolutely, fascinating. I bet John and Mimi were like a bickering married couple LOL David
I wished you could have said something about Alfred Lennon. Julia seemed flighty too. Yoko must of really hated Mimi. I think Sean has taken over Yoko’s duties. But he really is a mama’s boy.
absolutley disgusting how they flattned mimi´s house and put a modern peace of shit there instead
I read your comment before watching the video and I thought they flattned the house in Liverpool. I was relieved after watching.
Ringo's step father story always makes me cry
Any kid that grows up to be a great drummer you know had very patient and supportive parents
Or deaf ones lol.
Any kid that grows up to be an awfuI drummer you know had very patient and supportive parents.
Any heartwarming story is wrecked by the introduction of Yoko into the story.

We always knew the boys were the real deal. John, Paul, George and Ringo. They just keep getting better as we look back.
Dude… there’s no way ringo’s mom was 47 when she passed in 1986. Love your videos though, especially the recent stuff about brian jones 👍🏻
She was the same age as Ringo
@@filmretrospective63 Ringo's mother died at the age of 72.
@@filmretrospective63 Um, no.
@@filmretrospective63His mom.... was the same age.... as her son.....?
What the hell is wrong with you?
Elsie Graves (previously Starkey) 1913-1987, died aged 72.
Love your videos!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for this fascinating video. What an interesting subject. I've never seen this covered before.
Bruh Yoko really put the house on sale when Mimi died
It was all business to her.. even Sean
If you think that's cold, George's wife Olivia stopped the monthy stipend he was giving to his sister immediately after he died.
Great video
Thanks!

Mimi was very toxic

John was a wife beater. The fact that he never gave ownership of this house to his aunt tells volumes about him. Ono keeping it suits them both well.
thanks for the comment
