- Memento Mori, friends, from your local hermit Unus. Wanted to make a contribution to send off Unus Annus in the best way I can. This channel has been there for me through some of the toughest times of my life this past year and I can't thank Mark, Ethan, Unus and Annus for all they've given us and the lessons we've learned in so little time.
Unus and Annus will live on in us; although the channel will die, it will still be very much alive as long as we wish it to be through our memories and love of it and each other.
Mark, Ethan, Amy, Evan, and anyone else who was even remotely involved with Unus Annus, thank you, from the deepest parts of my soul. I can't wait to see what all of you will do next.

This. This one right here. It’s the one. All the animatics have been excellent, spectacular, and amazing. But this one right here is so profound. I think you captured exactly how Mark and Ethan felt at the end. Ethan, arms open wide giant smile on his face, welcoming the end with everything he has in him. He’s ready to go, ready to tackle new and bigger things. Mark is calm. This isn’t his first time finishing a project. Something about this one though. Mark is smiling with tears in his eyes because this one was special. He ready now too though. Mark is ready for some rest before he too starts a new adventure. I love how at the end the spiral went into us. That was really poetic and I think in a few frames you captured what the End was about. It’s our turn now. No, not to recreate Unus Annus, but to keep creating. To keep living life like each day is your last. I really could go on and on! Everything about this was beautiful and now I’m crying all over again! I really hope Mark, Ethan, and Amy bet to see this.

When watching this, I can imagine hearing Ethan and Mark talking and for the y/n having degrees of overlapping voices (resembling the fans/viewers)
And just by watching this animatic has me shook to the bones. I can't help but feel tears swelling up in my eyes ( ,* w *, ) it's really fuckin' beautiful yah know!

i typically don't cry a lot to somber or emotions elements but this actually managed to get a tear out of me. That's huge. It takes a lot for me to cry at all. I love this... thank you.

I can't believe that it's been two weeks since they've left us. I thought I was finally starting to move on, but this reminder me that I'm not. I'm nowhere near ready to move on. I miss them so much. But this also reminded me of what they would have wanted us to do now that they're gone. To keep going. To keep creating. To keep working towards each day for something better. To make the most of every moment as much as we can. This is just wonderful. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for making this.

This video is a good reminder that not everything lasts forever. Eventually, it has to come to an end, but we can cherish what's left and remember the time when Unus Annus was around. They may be gone, but they'll never be forgotten.

Damn, that was beautiful and tragic and amazing. I needed a good minute after watching to gather my thoughts about what I'd just seen - it left me speechless.
It also left me in tears; not in the way most of the things that I say make me cry do, usually when I say I cried at something I mean my eyes teared up a bit before I pulled myself together. This was different, I felt a wave of emotion so strong hit me that I couldn't hold it back like I usually do.

Unus Annus was my everything. I don't know what to do now that it's gone..
As weird as this may sound but Unus Annus helped me get over the pain of loosing my grandpa. To some it was just two friends being dumb everyday for a year. But to me it was more. It was a brief escape from everyday life. It was a new perspective of what we can do with our time. It was learning to live in the moment. It’s something I’ll be forever grateful to be part of. I was here.

I just wanna say I’ve been crying watching a few of these animatics and I just really want you to know and understand that this is absolutely phenomenal. They need to see this. They would be proud. There’s so many good ones. And I would love to see a video on one of their channels where they just search Unus Annus Animatics and see the amazing things people have made.

I thought I was done mourning their death, I just figured out that I am lying to myself. I don’t think I will get over it, but that is what is going make me remember, the thing that I never missed or gave up on. Because that channel was a part of my life that died in a physical form, but it will always rest inside my grief stricken mind.

Them dieing reminded me that even if they are dead doesn't mean that they are gone forever because they can still live on in every person how ever watched a UNUS ANNUS video wether they only watched one or all of them. Memento Mori.
Unus Annus
Wanted to see this to have the feeling of nostalgia again
I think the hardest part was that 2020 crippled every plan they had for the channel. Unus Annus was meant to be this great journey that was shot dead right at the starting line. They could have easily said that they were going to go for a few more months to get through all their plans, but they didn't. Life simply doesn't care about how much time we have left, and they reflected that by leaving even with unfinished business.
To be honest, I think the channel flourished in spite of 2020. They made the most of the time they had with the resources they had, and so did we. We all survived that year together, and I think we remember our time is limited most when we are going through tougher times.
Its been more then half a year since unus annus ended and i still cry everytime i see this animation. Memento mori

Oh my gosh. It’s over one month post mortum, actually 50 days post. I thought I could look back at Unus Annus with a smile bit DAMG. I’m sobbing as I write this comment. It was so so so dang emotional but still exactly portrayed how I felt the day it ended and today as well. You put the perfect ending to it. I think I’m finally over Unus Annus being gone. I personally couldn’t still believe that time period is gone until now. You made me understand the greater truth through a similar perspective to mine. My life is going downfall without Unus Annus being there to help support me. So downfall on a rapid pace. I’m loosing a sense of who I am. But I have to do it. I’m gonna do the dance of Italy (IM SORRY I KNOW ITS ILLEGSL PLEASE DONT REPORT MEE) and while singing the disclaimer song out to happiness. Thank you, my friend. Thank you.

Annus can’t really do much since he’s dead and that mark doesn’t exist... lol. But seriously, thank you. I love the small detail when y/n tell Unus and Annus how much time they have left, which is 53 seconds ( 0:50 ), and right when that 53 seconds hit the mark ( 1:43 ), the sand from the hourglass has finally empty to show that their time is up and now it's our turn to keep on going and creating.
