I have only been watching Beverly for about three weeks and I thought she just had the daughters, London and Riley. How sad for her family. I have never lost a child or grandchild but it would be most difficult. How old was the little boy??

I’m so sorry for your loss, Beverly! I truly am. I hear the sadness in your voice. Doesn’t matter how long it’s been, anniversaries are always tough. I’ve been so fortunate to have never lost a child. But it has to be the most difficult thing in life to experience! Look to our Heavenly Father to comfort and see you through, because He promised in His word that He would do so! I’m in absolute awe of this video. Just when I think it can’t get any better, it does! Each of the firsts one goes through the first year feels like losing them all over again and then the first anniversary arrives and it is so hard to believe a year has passed. Oh Bev my heart goes out to you. I too lost my sweet son at age 25 in a work accident. He loved the holidays and loved me to decorate. So I make sure I honor him each holiday with all the beautiful things he loved , using some of the things he made as a child. I’ve already started listening to Christmas music I always baked his favorite cookies at Christmas. He always was there waiting for the first pan to come out of the oven. The first cookie was his with a glass of milk. Your decorations always brings a smile to my face and your laughter joy to my heart. Hugs from Texas sweet friend.

I love the way you layer each piece as well. I’m so sorry for your loss and cannot imagine losing a child. I lost the love of my life 6 yrs ago. I thank God for the wonderful 49 yrs we shared. I sold my house and moved in with my daughter but I’m thinking now I might need to move to an apartment just so I can decorate! Bad thing about this is I sold everything and would have to start over. I had beautiful roosters and now they’re gone. But you have so inspired me so thank you more than I can say! Praying God blesses you and your family!

I have to tell you a story. I do remember you telling about your son. I hear the pain in your heart. But in my family we lost 3 family members November 27th 2000. My brother in law was flying a 4 seater plane from Florida back to Wisconsin. My nephew had wanted to propose to his girlfriend in front of Mickey mouse. He was 26. He did. Then they were coming back and flying into a storm and they used more fuel before they were able to make it to an airport to refuel. They went down in Indiana in a cornfield. Nobody survived. This was my sister's second child. She had just divorced her husband who was flying the plane. She has never been the same. I am so sorry about your son. So glad you are able to find comfort.
