@@Dwivil battery has a lot of surface area, it was probably just a couple of degrees above the surface of the phone. With 54°c in the outside, I'd say the battery didn't go over 60°c
The fact is that mostly people phone is around 20% when they start charging it and with that probably 5-6 minutes will be enough to charge it coz full 100% percentage is not good for battery. So probably 95% around is it.

I prefer not more than 65 watts charger. If Xiaomi phones have battery health display option then I am sure the battery will degrade a lot faster than other devices.

As good as this speed is, this battery will not last more than 6 months. 55 degrees.... The question I guess is, is it better for the battery to be 55 degrees for ~3-4 minutes OR 33 degrees for ~40 minutes (USB PD 25w charging for example) My guess is this temperature is just way too high that this battery won't last. It's classic Chinese throwaway phones culture. E waste central. Use it and then throwaway and get a new battery every 6 months
@U I feel like that goes against everything I've ever read regarding battery technology from places such as BatteryUniversity. Unless they have found a miracle new chemistry, it just doesn't seem feasible until they prove their research imo. This would be a game changer if proven tho
well, iPhone gets 16% in 5 minutes and 26% in 9 minutes, in the best case scenario. Imagine if iPhone did 21v 5a PPS charging. It'd probably be able to get 50% in 5 minutes and 75% in 9 mins. Although the iPhone charging times are slower to 100%, the fast charging matters below 75% so charging an iPhone isn't as bad as people make it look.

And I think why all the people who use fast charging 120 watts, and change phones every year, because their batteries die. The iPhone on its 20W charge heats up to a maximum of 37 degrees, which is why you can find iPhones 5 years ago on the used market with 90% battery wear and use it for another 5 years. For me, for 1-1.5 years, on both iPhones 13 and 14 pro max, only 1% left, and I measured all this with a tester, Apple gives + - exact values. Xiaomi makes flagship phones that cost more than iPhones and still work for 1-2 years. I’m even afraid to imagine what will happen with the phone if there is a supply of 210 watts not for 20-30 seconds, as in the video, but from 0% to 65-70%, it will generally fly away over 60 degrees, especially in a leather case. Okay, throw out the phone in 1-2 years, but if this phone shoots the apartment, this is really scary. There are also charges of 240-260 watts, which from 0 to 65-70% charge all 260 watts, as infinix did. According to the datasheet, the maximum possible battery temperature is 60 degrees, if more, then the battery can fail at any time due to irreversible chemical and physical reactions.
Yeah thats not good on the battery at all. You generally dont want to charge above 110F. 130 is about the absolute max for charging without destroying the battery.
Redmi and Xiaomi uses graphene enhanced li-ion batteries. These batteries are more robust/stable when it comes to elevated temps and high currents. So no need to worry. Xiaomi and Redmi included 34 protection features to ensure device safety and efficient fast charging.

120W Per cell? Dude this is absolutely absurd, those Note 12 uses BN5J batteries and they're rated for 4.45v max, it means 27 AMPS PER CELL!
i would rather have quick charge+ great battery life than ultra crazy quick charge + okay-ish battery life IMHO.
