In all seriousness, one of the biggest mistakes people make when discussing United is they automatically assume the players are just underperforming. People need to wake up and realize a side like Crystal Palace legitimately has better players than United. It’s not just an effort or commitment issue, it’s literally a talent issue as well. Objectively look at this list of players…Onana, Casemiro, Evans, Wan Bissaka, Dalot, Eriksen, Mount, Ambrabat, Mainoo, Antony, Garnacho, Hojlund. Throw in Maguire, Lindelof, McTominay, Malacia, Amad, Rashford, Martial…Do any of those players seriously start for a Top 4 side? Let alone a real Top 6 side?

It's like Roy Keane said, the new buzzword in football was "pressing", they forgot about how Ronaldo finished 3rd top goalscorer when he returned to United, with less games and higher goal average than the top 2. Now, they can't score goals. Then, "distribution" was the new buzzword in relation to goalkeepers, they got Onana, and forgot how good De Gea's shot stopping was, and they have a goalkeeper who can't save goals. Beyond hilarious how this has all turned out.
The culture at United is to look at other successful clubs, see nice things and demand they want that too, like a child demanding a balloon.
They saw this "pressing" thing at Liverpool frontline, and wanted someone who does that for them. They saw Ederson making good passes, and demanded they want a goalkeeper that does that too. This season, the media and fans have been harping on Casemiro for not making passes like they see Rodri do. Casemiro is alone out there taking all the heat, because opponents KNOW he's a weak point now; physically, technically and mentally.
I just don't understand how top management keeps falling for this pressure. All these other clubs can do these things because they've attained balance on and off the pitch. United cannot just do that. Players will be scapegoated according to demand every season.
Ronaldo was a problem. You’d be stupid not to see that. United weren’t the only team that benched him. Most people don’t remember that he was benched in a must win match in juve towards the end. Sarri even made it clear that his playtime would be limited the following season. Thats one of the main reasons he left

You can not only blame the players, but certainly also ETH!. If so many (key) players are injured, you're not going to play so offensively, are you?! Every normal-thinking manager will certainly play conservatively and more compactly in the beginning, at least in a defensive sense. It was 1 big gap in midfield...again!!.. Ten Hag has to read the match and tactically implement the entire strategy where necessary, but he has not done that, he just keeps sticking to 1 tactic...that is suicide right?!!

There was literally no other player to put at center back. Martínez, Varane, Maguire, Lindelof, Kambwala, and even McTominay were out (he’s played center back for Scotland). Ten Hag literally had no other option. And Evans just returned for this match and wasn’t even fully fit.

@@SJS8667 Bissaka has never been the RB we need, his play style was too limited, watching him this season it is obvious he isnt even putting in the energy required.
Much like Ronaldo, Casemiro deserved our player of the season the previous year, now he looks finished at the top level.
Onana i dont even know what to say, again he is limited in his handling, yes he faces many many shots, but he lets in goals that arguably other keepers in the top 10 would likely not, not to mention playing a huge role in us being out of the CL so early this season.
Yes players can have bad form, but if we want to challenge for big trophies, these are examples of players we cant have as 1st teamers. Inconsistent and very limited players are in abundance at Manchester United

I know what the popularity of the channel growing may bury this comment but I want to say is a long time follower from the beginning and I said my recent person who started commenting on the channel, it really makes me proud of the team to see the channel grow the way it has and almost at 4 million subscribers. It just goes to show that the consistency and the talent of the crew has just taken the channel upwards continuously. The network was very smart to start putting highlights and stuff like that. Even though some of it gets put on the ESPN UK channel, it does very well here and the success of the boys and all their antics does not go unnoticed.
Like anything else, with popularity comes more scrutiny in different ways. But the overall Vibe of the community and the humor and joy of the team really comes through and it's no accident that the channel continues to gradually grow.

And? So what? This is an issue much bigger than the next four matches, including the FA Cup final. The culture within the squad needs to be completely revamped. And this is nothing new.
