I know you said you feel like lineart is a necessity but if you ever notice something is holding you back from enjoying the process remember it's okay to skip it sometimes when, you don't even have to show it to anyone it can just be fun to experiment with different styles and ways to draw and help you explore your creativity more freely, idk if that made any sense but when I stopped forcing myself to draw one way all the time I started enjoying drawing a lot more

Also that idea that you need to know how to draw/ paint everything to be a true artist is completely stupid. A lot of professional artist are super specialized in one thing ! Some artists only do people, and some on the other hand only do landscape (cough cough Bob Ross).
Sure beig able to draw a lot of thing can be convenient, especially to make comics, but it is not a requirement to Bea true artist.
I started to only works to improve on things that I am actually interested in drawings ! I don't give a damn if I can't draw car or motorbike properly because I don't care for them X)
