There is no wonder why you have so many repeat customers. Even if they are good friends, if the quality isn't there neither is the repeat business. Love watching you work, Chris. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chris, It must be super nice to have an Uncle like John. When he needs expert help he calls you and the job gets done. When you ask for help , he's always there with a solution. That's family for ya.
Sorry to hear that your skid steer still down but you have a really great family and Uncle John is a good man glad to see that he’ll be there when you need him 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Man that looks nice, one thing I have noticed is that your material haulers have some pretty nice trucks to haul with, but I guess that would stand to reason seeing who they are hauling for, quality equipment in the right Hands equal quality finished product, thanks for the tag along video sir.
Pretty green grass looks lovely - always good to see the fruits of one's labour doing well. Round yard is a beauty - great area to work horses with heart.
Oh Yeah !! Nice... always good to have those 2-3 day jobs !! Hit -n- Run....lolol... Laid in there nice and smooth Chris !! Another Great job in the books... Great as always, Have a Great Day today, And, On too the next !!

Saturday night just got back home from me and my son in Myrtle beach watching the Pelican minor league baseball game, and here I am now catching up with Mr Chris. As usual, great job, Chris.👍
Sure makes it look tidy once the roller had done it's part bro, getting you back to do jobs shows just how much your efforts are appreciated that is for sure. Hope your tako does not take too long to get fixed or ya maybe phoning Clinton. Safe travels
I would bet these new track loaders with electric over hydraulic controls and advanced mechanical engineering are a dream to run compared to the older skid steers. At ,east that is what I tell myself when I struggle to grade with my old 1840 case with "character" controls
@@LoBeau53 I've heard that electric-over-hydraulic have a worst response than the good old pilot operated controls. Quality may also have been sacrificed at the price of higher complexity.
The next Hors Riding Arena to building! This Arena in round Format. However Work You Perfect Videos, remove the Grass and plane the Arena. Lay a cover and to fill the Arena with little smal Gravel stepfirm. Very good Work and the Video Interesting. 💪👌👍🐎
Screenings used to be cheap scrap you could buy at the quarry and I could get it for under a $1 a ton, those days are gone.........😁 I knew one of the sales guys and the Bean counters must of noticed there was a market for them.
Chris, Without prying too much, your own business has flourished the last 2 years. Would you be able to give us some insite between you and Uncle John in 2023? We know it all originated with Uncle John years, years ago, and quality work has been a mainstay of both and I don't want to cause a riff but the videos have become more seamless between Uncle John and Chris' work. PS find some more welding for Allen I miss his conversations. Heck of a nice guy.
A repeat customer. They must have liked your garage site grading. I believe the word is out about your quality and attention to detail. This has got to be my first time seeing a 16 wheel dump truck.
Here in the Northwest we have 18 wheel dump trucks. Just like that one with 3 lift axles but one more that sticks about 10 feet off the back and lifts up clear over the top of the dump bed to dump or when running empty. Google super dump or super 18 dump truck.
how much do those trucks hold per load? on a tandem axle here in Illinois we can run about 15, we could haul more but obviously we cant slide axles so we are stuck to around 14-15 ton before the dot starts giving us problems
I got about 30 truck load of fill (mostly silt) for a landscaping project, I don't think the truck carried more than 7 or 8 yards here in BC, Canada. It matches time it took me to move that material with a 0.4 yard bucket (about 15/18 rounds trip per truck load).
@@lacombar thats not very much per truck. i know here we can haul about 12-13 yards of dirt before we are overweight. but ive never scaled how heavy 12 yards is, our dirt field doesnt have scales. but the truck drives like its got 13-14 ton on
Man that pad is so flat you could put a tennis ball down on it at the end of the day and when you get to work the next morning the tennis ball is still rolling around looking for a low spot!
1:08 What's that strange noise in the background while you were walking around explaining what was going to happen? Sounds like a dog but it's not. Is it an owl hooting? 6:53 - Did you notice that the cloth lifted up as the sand dropped out of the truck and some of the sand went underneath the cloth. Hope it didn't cause you any grief while you were spreading it.
I know you still post work with John but I kind of enjoyed those earlier collaborations with him, especially when the 250 was called in and it seemed to either get fractious or was a pure symbiosis.. Perhaps its a benign big machine thing so I'll shut up.

Excellent job Chris. No wonder they keep getting you back for new projects😊

That all depends on the family. There are some families that can't get along at all under any circumstance.

The riding arena looks great! The owner should get many years of service from that arena.

Could watch you build these horse pads all day! Brings back the memories of driving the skid steers years ago.

Another nice looking one so far but I know when it’s done it will be a masterpiece 👍😎🇺🇸NY
thanks for sharing your work with us Chris ☺
those horse arenas sure make for some quick working jobs real nice. cheers.
Amazing how you can gauge the depth of the screenings by eye.
He had many years of practice,I always found it easy to level by sight of eye, but I've seen others struggle to do it.😁
This might have been a good job for your motor grader lol nothing beats Sunday morning coffee and your videos 😊
A friend of mine had two arenas. One outside, one roofed. Both had water sprinklers, which he used after the daily chain dragging.
Great Video on how I do it!! Thanks Chris 👍👍

Love your Work Chris .
As an arena owner myself I am not sure I would want that fabric. Drags are sure to catch on it. Maybe that’s just my thoughts.
I could watch you spreading screenings all day lovely job
First, I think! ❤❤❤ Beautiful property!
Beautiful dump truck, it got wheels forever
Well done sir. The arena is beautiful.
Screenings used to be cheap scrap you could buy at the quarry and I could get it for under a $1 a ton, those days are gone.........😁 I knew one of the sales guys and the Bean counters must of noticed there was a market for them.
Just noticed that the tracks on the skid steer sound a bit like a purring cat when going fast. I guess it does really "purr like a kitten". 😁
Nice job Chris. Thumbs up.
Smooth as a bowling alley Chris, nice job!😊

...lookin' good, nice work, keep safe...
Is the first dump truck only carrying 20 tons? The weight laws there must be insane! Here in NY with the right setup you can haul 20 ton
There must be a lot of horse money around there. Thoroughbreds?👍👍
Yay, the roller is back!😄
Looks great Chris
Your buddy will be very happy. Nice job
Great video 👍 👍
That is one loud bird
Was thinking the same thing 😂😂 heard it as well last time he did the clearing....I WAS THINKING THE SAME, as you commented 😂
Very nice job❤
Top work by a top driver
Why did you purchase a Takeuchi skid steer? Just looking for general guidance on the why. Thanks for any feedback.
I think your skid steer dealer is just dragging their feet hoping you’ll get jumpy and just buy a new one! (With high flow)😂👍🏻
I've already asked they couldn't even get a new one till August or September!
Thank you and have a good day.
Fantastic 😊
We need some Winston time..took my furbaby to Hardees n got taters...thought of you and Winston...
THANKS!
That blue quint is 🔥!
Another great job.. what are you using for material for the top coat ?
Sand or washed screenings

Your microphone really cuts out the equipment noise leaving perfect vocals…

Getie up cowboy
What kind of horse arena is this, with the surface packed so tight? Maybe performance horse arena?
He said he is going to add ltop screenings to it after it's been fenced off.
Nice job
:) Good Job as always :) and not a balloon in sight ()
Can you suggest where to get and what grade fabric to use?

its a dog... rather annoying little dog lol
You might have to check Volvo skid steers
Nice work Chris
Anyone else hear the owl or whatever it was, calling in the background at the beginning?
cool
Chris why do the trucks carry so many spare wheels.
I know you still post work with John but I kind of enjoyed those earlier collaborations with him, especially when the 250 was called in and it seemed to either get fractious or was a pure symbiosis.. Perhaps its a benign big machine thing so I'll shut up.
