As a Dubs fan I can absolutely agree. I love him as a coach. He does absolutely just that. He doesn’t just run a certain system. He coaches according to who has on the roster and putting them in advantageous situations to be successful. He doesn’t get stuck coaching one way unlike Kerr.

Not only did they lose their rim protection, he was their best screener to get guys open and they ran a lot of their offense through him from the high post because he was such a great passer. Cleveland was the fresher healthier team like Golden St. was the year before and those are typically the teams that end up winning series

I remember I was just playing middle school ball, but one game I hit a game winner and after that I had a real passion for the game. He had played great in the 2015 finals, he played great defense on Lebron and on 2016 by the end he could barely move. You could see his back was hurting. So he was on the floor but he couldn’t really help the team effectively.
