Wasn’t expecting to see ableton when you went to music. Impressed that you do both. Most musicians go and find generic royalty free art to showcase their music. Most artists seem to do the same (but opposite) for their art. 💪👍
I've just stumbled upon your channel, your stuff is so unique and yet so nostalgic of old point n' click games at the same time. subscribed, can't wait to see more :)
This is so cool bro, I respect every pixelart artist, an artistic branch that requires a lot of patience and dedication, it's no wonder that there still isn't a single feature film in ""8-bit"". Great work and success for you ❤️
Wow, what an itneresting way to represent your methods of working on your animations!😳 It's very creative and inspiring, you made it clean, understandable but also enjoyable at the same time. Respect, mate! 👌👏👏👏
There is a subtle way in which your characters moves that is really appealing. thank you for this tutorial it will be very useful for me. Fave scene is the toothpaste squirt.
I have never been inspired this much in my life. This is the best tutorial video ever thank you I'm so lucky I found it I'm going to start animating now this's so awesome thank you again
I am learning pixel art , want to animate some short movie scenes in the future , this animation was so well made. i am just learning and can tell it took so much time and care to make this video. Hope your channel soon gets the recognition it deserves.
This video is awesome and so are your other ones! It's so inspiring to see how you did every part of it yourself. May I ask how long you've been animating, and how long the animation part takes you?
Thanks! The animation part takes me the bulk of the time, but how long really depends on the complexity of the scene, and how involved the motion is. The bear walking across the screen was the most time-consuming thing to animate in this video.
I'm recently starts to make a big animations and I love it. I think this video can help me a little. I hope you get a more views. p.s: how you can copy images to aseprite from photoshop i can do it only after saving file in png or something others aseprite formats?
Thanks! As for copying from Photoshop to Aseprite, I just do a simple copy and paste. On Windows, this results in the loss of transparency in the pasted image, but on MacOS transparency is preserved.
do you know any way to sync stuff up with audio in animation without just winging it? i would love to be able to but there is so little help for making aseprite animationd and it makes me so sad
I used Adobe Audition to put together the sound track for this one. It allows you to import the animation so that you can accurately sync the audio clips with the visuals.
but gifs only supports multiples of 10 milliseconds of exposure time for each frame and I chose 64 milliseconds of exposure time for all my frames and it will be so much work to fix that I feel so alone PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME IM GOING INSANE I JUST WANT TO MAKE MY STUPID ANIMATION ABOUT WHY HUGGING STRANGERS IS GOOD PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE CAN YOU HEAR ME PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE NOTHING WORKS i TRIED SCREENRECORDING THE SHIT AND IT JUST LOOKS BAD WTF AM I GONNA DO HEEEEEELP
Animating your aseprite process is another level of dedication 🔥🔥🔥
Really incredible stuff. Shows how passionate and hardworking people can be in RUclips. It’s always nice to see behind the scenes.
Man, this is so well made, it deserve millions of views!

So how fps or Ms were those smooth animations?
Thanks! The video is 10 fps / 100 ms per frame. The bear walking across the screen is 35 frames long with no held frames.

Can you animate how you animated this video just so I can REALLY understand the process? 😉
Oohhh how long did it take u to make this?? It’s so cute 💕👍🏻
Thank you! It took around 200 hours

How long would this take compared to 2D traditional animation?
Can I get the specs for your render output? Whenever my video finishes processing the pixels are all artifacted
A Cuantos fps se realiza una animacion en pixelart??
a cuantos hiciste tu animacion ? 🤔🤔
2:22 Could you tell me how you export a scene with layers as a gif? Whenever I try to do that Aseprite says layers can't be saved in gifs.
do you know any way to sync stuff up with audio in animation without just winging it? i would love to be able to but there is so little help for making aseprite animationd and it makes me so sad

No, but thanks for asking :)

What software do you use?
Aseprite and Photoshop for pixel art and animation, Ableton for music and After Effects for video editing.
