Unless they removed it in the full game (like they did some of the turrets) there should be a skill tree for the characters. The dwarf's skill tree can let you upgrade the amount of resources you get from the quarry and sawmill.

In the room for the mine cart for the stone, there is a button that you have to press and you have to have a certain order of the switches in place in order to get the mine cart switched to that direction

In the place for the Mana well you need to solve the puzzle with the different switches. Once you hit the right switch is in the right order, the door open and then you can get the price.

Incredible bad even for an EA game. Performance is meh, no tutorials for certain stuff like character exp and skill points. Some stuff from the tech tree is just cosmetic like the armor.
Buildings are just .... why even bother.
I do think the idea is great but the release is at least a year to early. Probably ran out of money. Better put in on the wishlist and wait for a long while.
Just not worth it atm.
